Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify and examine the various challenges faced by elementary school teachers in managing classrooms. This research was conducted through a literature review using a descriptive qualitative approach by analyzing various references related to classroom management in elementary schools. The results indicate that teachers face a range of complex challenges, including limited competencies, student behavioral dynamics, inadequate learning facilities, non-contextual curricula, assessment barriers, and a lack of collaboration with parents. Most teachers still rely on monotonous lecture-based methods, have limited understanding of students’ characteristics, and often struggle with formative assessment and differentiated instruction. To address these issues, continuous professional development, revitalization of facilities, curriculum flexibility, and stronger collaboration between teachers, schools, and parents are needed to create a conducive, inclusive, and enjoyable learning environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hambatan dan solusi dalam melaksanakan Kurikulum Merdeka di SDN 106806 Cinta Rakyat. Kurikulum Merdeka diperkenalkan sebagai inovasi dalam sistem pendidikan Indonesia untuk memberikan kebebasan belajar bagi siswa sesuai minat dan bakat mereka. Namun, pelaksanaan kurikulum ini menghadapi berbagai hambatan, seperti kurangnya pengalaman guru, keterbatasan sumber daya, serta kesiapan infrastruktur sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara dan studi literatur untuk mengidentifikasi hambatan serta strategi yang dapat diterapkan guna mengoptimalkan penerapan kurikulum ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan guru, pengembangan infrastruktur, serta kolaborasi antar pemangku kepentingan menjadi solusi utama dalam mengatasi hambatan yang ada. Dengan pendekatan yang efektif dan strategis, Kurikulum Merdeka diharapkan dapat berjalan secara optimal dan memberikan dampak positif bagi pendidikan di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of snowball throwing cooperative learning assisted by flashcards on student learning outcomes on Pancasila as the state ideology in fifth grade at Al-Huda Islamic Elementary School. This study used aa quantitative approach with an experimental method using a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study was all 30 fifth grade students. The results showed that before the treatment, the average student learning outcome score in the pretest was 54, which is considered low. After the treatment, the average student learning outcome score in the posttest increased to 86.83, which is considered good. The percentage of student learning completion also increased from 33.33% in the pretest to 93.33% in the posttest. Based on the results of the hypothesis test analysis using a paired sample t-test, a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of <0.001 was obtained at a significance level of α = 0.005. This indicates that the significance value is less than 0.05, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning using flashcards has a significant effect on improving student learning outcomes.
