Abstract

Analysis of student response and activity in daring learning using zoom aims to see and describe the process of daring learning , so an analysis of student responses and activeness is needed during the brave learning process so that learning objectives are met even though the learning process is not carried out directly or face to face. The research method used is a type of qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The subjects used were Information Technology Education students at Aisyah Pringsewu University. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observations and field notes. Research is done boldly. The data analysis technique uses the Miles & Huberman model which consists of three stages, namely data reduction, data display, and verification. The results of the study show that the zoom application can support the learning process of challenges, students respond well during the learning process of challenges but sometimes there are problems with the signal/network, and students are active during the learning process by conducting questions and answers during discussions.

Abstract

Warm water foot soak therapy presents a viable alternative for managing fever in patients who experience discomfort with conventional compress methods. This scientific paper aims to provide nursing care for patients with Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) experiencing hyperthermia, utilizing warm water foot soak interventions in the inpatient ward of Bhayangkara Hospital, Lampung. The nursing care approach follows the nursing process framework, focusing on direct nursing interventions. The subject of care consisted of DHF patients in the inpatient unit, with the primary intervention being warm water foot soaking. Data collection tools included physical examinations and standardized nursing assessment formats (KMB), with data gathered through interviews, observation, and physical examination. During the assessment phase, the patient exhibited classic signs of DHF, including high-grade fever. A nursing diagnosis of hyperthermia was established. The primary intervention implemented was a warm water foot soak. After three days of therapy, the patient's body temperature decreased to 37.2°C, and the patient reported improved comfort and no further complications. These findings suggest that warm water foot soaking is an effective supportive intervention for managing hyperthermia in DHF patients. It is recommended that patients and their families be encouraged to understand and apply simple, non-pharmacological interventions such as warm foot soaks alongside adherence to prescribed medical treatment.

Abstract

Introduction: Burns are one of the most common injuries in school-aged children and are often treated inappropriately. Education on the management of minor burns is essential so that students have the knowledge and skills to perform proper first aid. Objective: To assess the effectiveness of a 1st degree burn management education program on improving the knowledge and preparedness of junior high school students in dealing with burn incidents. Method: This activity was carried out in the form of community service at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Gading Rejo, Lampung, with a participatory educational approach through counseling, leaflets, interactive discussions, and pre-test and post-test evaluations. The targets of the program were 50 seventh grade students. Result: This activity can improve participants' understanding of the causes, types, severity of burns, and correct initial handling procedures with an average frequency of pre-test knowledge level of 54% and an average frequency of post-test knowledge level of 78%. There was a significant increase in participants' knowledge of burns, including burn treatment, burn characteristics, and how to prevent burns with good and correct procedures. Conclusion: This educational program was effective in increasing students' awareness and skills in managing minor burns. It is recommended that similar programs be implemented regularly and expanded to other schools.
