Abstract

In general, Homeschooling is a form of non-formal education that does not follow a structured financing system like formal education. After conducting an in-depth analysis of the implementation and sources of funding in the homeschooling system particularly in Homeschooling Focus, located in Arcamanik Subdistrict, Bandung City, this study uncovered compelling findings regarding the financial implementation of education. The purpose of this research is to identify how the financing system in Homeschooling Focus is carried out. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach. The main findings reveal that the education financing system in Homeschooling Focus is implemented in a planned and organized manner, with execution that aligns with pre-established plans and includes evaluation stages, despite limited funding sources. Furthermore, the financing process is flexible while still upholding the principles of transparency, with all income and expenditure transactions properly recorded and supervised by the management team.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the school principal as an educational supervisor in efforts to improve the quality of learning at SD Negeri 235 Lengkong Kecil, Bandung City. The principal’s role as a supervisor does not only involve administrative oversight, but also focuses on mentoring and facilitating the continuous professional development of teachers. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through interviews, observations, and document studies. The results show that the supervision carried out by the principal focuses on enhancing teacher competence in lesson planning, implementation, and evaluation. The applied approach is humanistic, participatory, clinical, and reflective, and is integrated with professional development programs such as training sessions and teacher working groups (MGMP). Despite challenges such as limited time and administrative workload, the principal continues to implement supervision effectively. Furthermore, supervision contributes to creating a school climate that is conducive, collaborative, and quality-oriented. It can thus be concluded that the principal’s role as a supervisor is highly strategic in supporting the achievement of quality education. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor pendidikan dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran di SD Negeri 235 Lengkong Kecil, Kota Bandung. Peran kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor tidak hanya mencakup aspek pengawasan administratif, tetapi lebih pada fungsi pembinaan dan fasilitasi pengembangan profesionalisme guru secara berkelanjutan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah berfokus pada peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Pendekatan yang diterapkan bersifat humanis, partisipatif, klinis, dan reflektif, serta terintegrasi dengan program pengembangan profesional guru seperti pelatihan dan MGMP. Meskipun dihadapkan pada tantangan seperti keterbatasan waktu dan beban administratif, kepala sekolah tetap berupaya menjalankan supervisi secara efektif. Supervisi juga berperan dalam menciptakan iklim sekolah yang kondusif, kolaboratif, dan berorientasi pada budaya mutu. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peran kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor sangat strategis dalam mendukung pencapaian mutu pendidikan yang berkualitas.

Abstract

The integration of digital technology in homeschooling learning requires systematic management to ensure effectiveness and sustainability. The gap between technology availability and effective management capabilities, particularly in nonformal education contexts, creates an urgent need for a comprehensive management model. This study aims to analyze the management of digital technology utilization in learning at Homeschooling Focus, Arcamanik District, Bandung City, focusing on planning, implementation, and evaluation. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation as data collection techniques, then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model. The findings indicate that planning is conducted contextually through initial assessment, implementation utilizes various digital platforms with facilitative strategies emphasizing rewards and appreciation, and evaluation is performed in layers involving self-reflection, peer collaboration, and managerial supervision. This study concludes that systematic digital technology management through integrated planning, implementation, and evaluation functions contributes significantly to improving learning quality, learning motivation, creativity, and development of students' interests and talents in the homeschooling context;ABSTRAKIntegrasi teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran homeschooling memerlukan manajemen yang sistematis untuk memastikan efektivitas dan keberlanjutan. Kesenjangan antara ketersediaan teknologi dan kemampuan pengelolaan yang efektif, terutama dalam konteks pendidikan nonformal, menimbulkan kebutuhan mendesak akan model manajemen yang komprehensif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis manajemen pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran di Homeschooling Focus, Kecamatan Arcamanik, Kota Bandung, dengan fokus pada perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan dilakukan secara kontekstual melalui asesmen awal, pelaksanaan memanfaatkan beragam platform digital dengan strategi fasilitatif yang mengedepankan reward dan apresiasi, serta evaluasi dilakukan secara berlapis melibatkan refleksi mandiri, kolaborasi sejawat, dan pengawasan manajerial. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa manajemen teknologi digital yang sistematis melalui fungsi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi yang terintegrasi berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran, motivasi belajar, kreativitas, dan pengembangan minat bakat peserta didik dalam konteks homeschooling.

Abstract

The competency gap between vocational training graduates and industry needs remains a serious problem in Indonesia, indicating weak training program management in developing lifeskills relevant to labor market demands. This research aims to analyze the implementation of lifeskill development management through beauty skincare training at LKP SRIMAYA Bandung, focusing on planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling program functions. The study employs a qualitative approach with case study method, where data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews with managers, instructors, and trainees, direct observation of learning processes, and analysis of curriculum documents and standard operating procedures. The findings reveal that LKP SRIMAYA faces significant weaknesses in all four management functions, including curriculum planning that is unresponsive to industry developments, suboptimal resource organization with non-ideal supervision ratios and inadequate facilities, conventional learning implementation without structured industry partnerships, and absence of evaluation systems and tracer studies resulting in no continuous improvement mechanisms. These management weaknesses impact declining enrollment numbers and low graduate competitiveness. The research concludes that the effectiveness of vocational lifeskill development heavily depends on systematic and integrated management function implementation, and the necessity of strengthening managerial capacity of non-formal education institution managers to improve training program quality and relevance.ABSTRAKPendidikan anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) memerlukan layanan pembelajaran yang terencana, sistematis, dan berorientasi pada kebutuhan individual peserta didik. Dalam konteks homeschooling, peran dominan orang tua menjadikan kolaborasi antara sekolah dan orang tua sebagai aspek strategis dalam administrasi pendidikan guna meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran ABK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kolaborasi sekolah dan orang tua dalam peningkatan mutu pembelajaran ABK di Homeschooling Focus Kecamatan Arcamanik, Kota Bandung, melalui penerapan fungsi manajerial Planning, Organizing, Actuating, dan Controlling (POAC). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas orang tua ABK, guru, dan kepala sekolah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan model analisis interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña yang meliputi tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi sekolah dan orang tua telah dilaksanakan secara terencana dan terstruktur melalui penyusunan perencanaan pembelajaran individual, pembagian peran dan tanggung jawab yang jelas, pelaksanaan pembelajaran secara kolaboratif, serta evaluasi berkelanjutan terhadap perkembangan peserta didik. Kolaborasi tersebut memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan mutu pembelajaran ABK, yang tercermin pada aspek akademik, kemandirian, dan perkembangan sosial-emosional. Simpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi sekolah dan orang tua yang dikelola melalui fungsi-fungsi POAC merupakan bagian integral dari administrasi pendidikan dan berperan penting dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran ABK di Homeschooling Focus.
