Abstract

Kesenian merupakan bagian budaya dan sarana untuk mengekspresikan keindahan dari dalam jiwa manusia. Selain itu, kesenian mempunyai fungsi yaitu mengembangkan karakter diri anak seperti yang dilakukan oleh paud Islam Kendari. Berdasarkan hal tersebut terdapat tiga rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini. Pertama nilai-nilai karakter yang terdapat pada tarian mondotambe di paud Islam insan unggul kendari. Kedua pengembangan nilai-nilai karakter pada tarian mondotambe. Ketiga alasan nilai-nilai budaya lokal dikembangkan di paud Islam. Jenis penelitian ini penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif Metodenya menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara dan triangulasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data (data collection), reduksi data (data reduction) penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan Verifikasi (concultion drawing and varification). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Lima nilai yang terdapat pada tarian mondotambe di paud Islam insan unggul. Pertama nilai karakter Religius. Kedua nilai karakter kemandirian. Ketiga nilai karakter kreatif. Keempat nilai karakter tanggung jawab. Kelima nilai karakter cinta tanah air. Pengembangan nilai-nilai karakter yang terdapat pada tarian mondotambe di paud Islam insan unggul melalui proses latihan, pementasan dan gerakkan. Alasan nilai budaya tari tradisional dikembangkan di paud Islam unggul karena tari tradisional tersirat pesan  berupa pengetahuan, gagasan, kepercayaan, nilai dan norma. Karya tari yang dihasilkan sangat sederhana baik dari sisi gerak, busana maupun iringan.

Abstract

Keterampilan seni tari juga penting dimiliki oleh calon pendidik PAUD agar mampu membimbing kreativitas anak didik. pendekatan pendidikan seni tari usia dini merupakan metode pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan seni tari kedalam kurikulum anak usia dini. Mata kuliah pendidikan seni tari berpotensi besar untuk mengembangkan kreativitas mahasiswa calon pendidik PAUD. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipatif dan wawancara mendalam selama satu semester tahun akademik 2022/2023. Hasil penelitian di Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Kendari, penerapan seni tari usia dini untuk meningkatkan kreativitas mahasiswa menunjukkan hasil yang positif. Mahasiswa pada mata kuliah pendidikan seni tari IAIN Kendari lebih kreatif, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh pencapaian mereka terhadap empat indikator utama kreativitas tari: orisinalitas, kelancaran, keluwesan, dan ekspresivitas. Mahasiswa juga mampu menunjukkan kemampuan menciptakan karya tari baru yang sesuai dengan karakteristik perkembangan anak usia dini. Pelaksanaan pelatihan tari anak usia dini di IAIN Kendari terbukti memberikan manfaat nyata dalam meningkatkan kreativitas mahasiswa dan mempersiapkan mereka menjadi pendidik yang lebih kompeten di bidang PAUD.

Abstract

This study originates from the need to understand the nature of humanity through two major concepts: fitrah in Islam and tabula rasa in Western philosophy. Both address the initial condition of human beings and the roles of innate disposition and environmental influence in moral, intellectual, and spiritual development. The aim of this research is to describe the concept of fitrah from the Islamic perspective, explain the tabula rasa concept within the tradition of Western empiricism, and compare both in the context of human development and their implications for education. This study employs a qualitative method with a library research approach, analyzing primary sources such as the Qur’an, Hadith, classical Islamic works, and the writings of empiricist thinkers such as John Locke, David Hume, and Jean-Jacques Rousseau. The findings indicate that fitrah represents the innate human potential inclined toward monotheism and goodness, whereas tabula rasa asserts that humans are born without innate ideas and are shaped entirely by experience. The comparative analysis reveals that both concepts converge in emphasizing the importance of education and experience, yet differ in their theological and epistemological orientations. The implications of this research highlight the necessity for holistic education that nurtures the innate spiritual potential of human beings while also considering the influence of environment and experience in character formation.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of religious psychology in early childhood from the perspective of Imam Al-Ghazali’s thought, aiming to describe his views, identify the fundamental concepts of religious psychology related to children’s spiritual development, and explore their relevance in the context of modern education. The research employs a qualitative method with a library research approach, analyzing Al-Ghazali’s major works such as Ihya’ Ulum al-Din, Ayyuha al-Walad, and Mizan al-‘Amal. The findings reveal that Al-Ghazali places spirituality at the core of personality development in children through key concepts such as fitrah (innate purity), qalb (heart), tazkiyah al-nafs (purification of the soul), adab (moral habituation), and the integration of knowledge and action. These five concepts form a framework of religious psychology emphasizing the importance of role modeling, habituation, and spiritual purification from an early age. Al-Ghazali’s ideas remain highly relevant in addressing the challenges of globalization and moral decline today, as they promote a holistic form of spiritual education centered on cultivating divine consciousness in children. Theoretically, this research contributes to the development of an Islamic Spiritual Development Framework for Early Childhood, while practically offering guidance for early childhood education institutions to implement curricula grounded in classical Islamic values.
