Abstract

This study aims to identify various types of intelligence tests that are appropriate and suitablefor use with students at the elementary and secondary school levels. The method used in thisresearch is a literature study that focuses on a literature review. Based on the reviewed research,there are various types of intelligence tests that can be used to assess the cognitive abilities ofelementary and secondary school children. For elementary school children, some commonlyused tests include the Stanford-Binet, Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC), ColouredProgressive Matrices (CPM), and Culture Fair Intelligence Test (CFIT). These tests help identifystudents' intellectual potential and special needs, both in learning aspects and overall academicdevelopment. Meanwhile, for secondary school students, tests such as the Wechsler AdultIntelligence Scale (WAIS), Multidimensional Aptitude Battery-II (MAB-II), and Intelligenz StructureTest (IST) are more commonly used. These tests help measure more complex intelligence andidentify an academic or career path that aligns with students' interests and talents, assistingthem in future planning.

Abstract

WordPress is a website-based platform that can be used to manage, store, and distribute various types of content with a simple, appealing, and easily accessible interface, as long as the location has an internet connection. With the convenience offered by WordPress, it is necessary to have skills in using this platform to optimise guidance and counselling services that can be accessed by counselees anywhere. Through this platform, counselees can access various guidance and counselling services as well as educational content that can enhance individual potential. The purpose of this training is to improve counsellors’ competence in utilising WordPress for guidance and counselling services. A total of 19 counsellors participated in the activity. To measure the effectiveness of the training, an instrument titled “Evaluation of Counselors’ Competency Improvement in the Use of WordPress” was used. Data analysis was conducted using Excel, Google Forms, and SPSS. The results of the training showed that counsellors’ competence increased, with a pretest–posttest difference of 47.053 and a significance value of 0.000.

Abstract

Toleransi merupakan salah satu indikator keberhasilan suatu negara dalam mengelola keberagaman. Sebagai bangsa yang menjunjung tinggi nilai persatuan, masyarakat Indonesia dituntut untuk mampu menunjukkan sikap saling menghargai, menghormati, dan menerima perbedaan yang ada. Intoleransi dapat disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, seperti masalah ekonomi, sosial, serta gesekan budaya yang memicu konflik antar kelompok. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Pendekatan kuantitatif dipilih karena penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan fenomena secara objektif melalui data numerik, sedangkan metode deskriptif digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi atau karakteristik variabel yang diteliti tanpa melakukan manipulasi variabel. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa kuesioner yang disusun berdasarkan indikator dari variabel yang diteliti. Skala yang digunakan adalah skala Likert dengan pilihan jawaban sangat setuju, setuju, tidak setuju, dan sangat tidak setuju. Sebelum digunakan, instrumen telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya untuk memastikan kelayakan sebagai alat pengumpul data. Prosedur penelitian meliputi beberapa tahap, yaitu: (1) penyusunan instrumen penelitian, (2) uji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen, (3) pengumpulan data, (4) pengolahan dan analisis data, serta (5) penarikan kesimpulan berdasarkan hasil penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapatkan, sebagian besar responden dalam penelitian ini berada pada kategori Sedang dengan persentase mencapai 73%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa telah memiliki pemahaman awal mengenai pentingnya menerima dan menghargai keberagaman budaya di lingkungan sosialnya. Namun, pemahaman tersebut belum sepenuhnya tercermin dalam perilaku nyata sehari-hari.
