Abstract

Non-test instruments are fundamental in the implementation of student needs assessment. Without the right instruments, the assessment will not be able to be carried out and the implementation of guidance and counseling services will not be able to reach services that are by student needs. This requires counselors to be able to develop instruments that can measure the psychological condition of students which can be used as a reference for making programs and providing services for students. But in reality, counseling teachers are still confused, unable to make instruments, and limited to processing and analyzing the results of the instruments obtained so that the counseling program prepared later is by the needs of students.This training and mentoring activity aims to assist counselors in developing non-test instruments independently. This activity was carried out for 9 days for Palembang City Junior High School counselors who were organized in the Palembang City Junior High School MGBK. The implementation of this activity was carried out using discussion, brainstorming, practice, and assignment methods. This activity began with filling out pretests, providing material, practice, and assignments, analyzing data, interpreting data, and ending with filling out posttests. The results of the pretest and posttest data analysis showed that the t-test significance value obtained was 0.001 <0.05, which means that there is a significant difference in the skills of counseling teachers in preparing non-test instruments before and after attending the training. During the activity, counselors were enthusiastic and eager to participate in the training. The output of this training is a questionnaire that can be used in their respective schools to assess students' needs.

Abstract

Emotion is a response shown by an individual to an event or stimulus that can affect his mental state. These emotions require control within the individual to be able to produce positive behavior, feelings and mental states in the process of emotional regulation. Measuring emotional regulation is needed to be able to describe a person's emotional control state. The aim of this research is to produce a valid and reliable emotional regulation scale. This research method is a research and development method with the ADDIE model. The population in this study was 2996 Class XI high school students in Ilir Barat 1 District, Palembang City. The total sample for this research was 102 respondents taken randomly. This research data processing uses SPSS with the product moment formula and factor analysis with a confirmatory factor analysis approach. The results of the research show that the content validity of experts states that 95% of the scale is suitable for use, and the emotional regulation scale prepared is constructively valid with 45 items with a Cronbach's alpha reliability value of 0.948. It was concluded that the emotional regulation scale was suitable for use with a larger and more diverse group of respondents.

Abstract

Bullying is an action carried out with the aim of hurting or harming someone, either through cruel words, social exclusion or physical violence. This behavior can occur in a variety of environments, such as school, work, or even online, and often leaves a deep psychological impact on the victim. This research aims to explore the phenomenon of bullying in junior secondary education. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. Sampling used random sampling techniques and a sample of 100 students at Junior High School (SMP) was obtained. Data collection used the Bullying Behavior Tendency Instrument in Secondary Students. Data analysis uses item analysis, indicators with classification techniques for the level of student bullying behavior using Excel and SPSS. The research results found that indicators of bullying behavior were generally in the very low category and indicators of having experienced bullying were mostly in the very low category, but some were in the very low, medium and high categories. It was then found that there were significant differences in bullying behavior in terms of gender, while there was no difference in the level of bullying received in terms of gender, meaning that the bullying behavior received was relatively the same between men and women.

Abstract

Kematangan karir pada fase growth penting untuk mempersiapkan diri peserta didik dalam menghadapi tugas-tugas perkembangan terkait dengan karir dan pemilihan karir yang stabil dan realistis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kematangan karir siswa sd pada fase growth melalui permainan ular tangga. Metode penelitian menggunakan pre-eksperimen untuk mencari pengaruh perlakuan  tertentu dengan one group prettest-posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan 20 poin dengan rata-rata pretest 67,3 menjadi 87,33 pada rata-rata post test dan kategori N-Gain skor tinggi dengan N-Gain score senesar 0,74.Kata Kunci: Kematangan karir; permainan; fase growth, ular tangga

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan mengukur validias dan reliabilitas inventori karir agar dapat digunakan secara valid dan reliabel dan mampu mengukur kecendrungan karir peserta didik di sekolah menengah Atas. Inventori karir ini berbasis teori Holland, dengan 6 tipe kepribadian karir disingkat RIASEC (Realistic, Investigatif, Artistic, Sosial, Enterpreneursip, Conventional) sehingga diberi nama I.RIASEC. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian research and development dengan 465 responden dan 2 orang ahli. Hasil penelitian ditemukan nilai indeks validitas konten tinggi dan diterima 114 butir dari 119 butir yang diajukan dan hasil validitas konstruk butir akhir yang diterima sebanyak 109 butir pernyataan I.Riasec, dengan nilai reliabilitas pada kategori tinggi. Sehingga disimpulkan inventori karir berbasis teori Holland pada Pendidikan di Indonesia (I.RIASEC) valid dan reliabel untuk digunakan pada peserta didik di Sekolah Menengah Atas.Kata Kunci: Karir; Kepribadian; Validitas; Reliabilitas

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of the relationship between learning saturation and academic procrastination of students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Sriwijaya University. The sampling technique used was totaling sampling on 81 4th semester students in the Guidance and Counseling study program at Sriwijaya University. The research method uses a correlational study approach and data collection uses a learning saturation scale and academic procrastination scale collected through google form. Dataanalysis was carried out using the Pearson Product Moment formula in the SPSS 21 application. The results showed the correlation value rxy = 0.719, which means that learning saturation in the network has a strong positive relationship with student academic procrastination, where the higher academic procrastination, the higher academic procrastination.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan layanan bimbingan klasikal dengan metode Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IX.7 di SMP Negeri 7 Palembang. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Bimbingan dan Konseling (PTBK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 35 peserta didik, dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan hasil Angket Kebutuhan Peserta Didik (AKPD). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah pretest dan posttest berupa soal pilihan ganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan skor rata-rata dari pretest sebesar 54,86 menjadi 88,9 pada posttest. Nilai N-Gain menunjukkan rata-rata peningkatan sebesar 0,75 atau 74,59% yang termasuk kategori tinggi. Penerapan metode PBL dalam bimbingan klasikal tidak hanya meningkatkan hasil belajar secara kognitif, tetapi juga mendorong keterampilan berpikir kritis, pemecahan masalah, dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Dengan demikian, pendekatan ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar sekaligus keterampilan hidup peserta didik.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the implementation of classical guidance services with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method can improve the learning independence of class IX students at State Junior High School 7 Palembang. Methodology: This research is a guidance and counseling action research (PTBK) which is a research on an action carried out in a class with the aim of improving the quality of the guidance and counseling service process. The process of implementing PTBK is the same as implementing action research. Main Findings: Data obtained from 36 students showed very positive results. Based on pretest data, the average score of student learning independence was 50 out of an ideal score of 100. After implementing PBL-based classical guidance services, the average posttest score increased to 88.6, indicating a significant increase. Novelty/Originality of this study: With proper implementation, this approach is expected to significantly improve the learning independence of students of State Junior High School 7 Palembang. In addition, this approach can also help BK teachers design more creative and appropriate services for students' needs, as well as being an example for other schools in an effort to improve the quality of learning.

Abstract

The guidance and counseling teacher or counselor's adjustment to technological developments is something that is absolutely necessary to balance the development of lifestyles, especially the current education system, so that they are not further left behind by developed countries. This activity aims to identify the skills of guidance counselors/counselors in providing technology-based counseling services and improve the skills of guidance counselors/counselors so that they can provide optimal guidance and counseling services based on technology. The target of the activity is Palembang City Middle School Counselor/BK Teachers, the number of participants is 25 people. To measure the increase in participants' skills in this activity, participants' knowledge evaluation instruments were used. Data analysis using the Excel application. Training on the use of the Quizizz application for BK teachers succeeded in increasing their understanding and skills in compiling interactive basic service media. The evaluation showed that participants were able to apply the training material effectively, from creating an account to implementing media in BK services. The results of this research show that the use of technology, such as Quizizz, can increase creativity, effectiveness and innovation in guidance and counseling services at schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur peningkatan intimasi pertemanan pada siswa kelas VII di SMP Indralaya Utara melalui permainan kelompok dalam bimbingan kelompok. Metode yang digunakan adalah pra-eksperimental dengan desain penelitian one-group pretest-posttest. Partisipan pada penelitian ini terdiri atas 12 orang siswa yang dipilih secara purposive sampling dari hasil pretest untuk menciptakan kelompok yang heterogen. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan angket intimasi pertemanan yang diadaptasi dari Sharabany (1994) dengan reliabilitas α = 0,83. Hasil uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan (t = -5,37, p < 0.001). Rata-rata skor meningkat dari 62,75 (pretest) menjadi 98,58 (posttest), dengan persentase kenaikan sebesar 19%. Temuan ini mendukung penggunaan permainan kelompok sebagai strategi pengembangan keterampilan sosial sekolah terutama intimasi pertemanan siswa.
