Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out child care methods and apply them to parents' daily care in caring for children and identify the application of maqasidi interpretations of Al-Qur'an verses in child care.  This research uses a type of library research, and the study is presented descriptively and analytically. The result of the discussion is that the verses used in this parenting method include QS. An-Nahl verse 90, QS. Al-Baqarah verse 83, QS. Lukman verses 12-19, QS. An-Nur verse 58, QS. Ar-Rum verse 21, QS. An-Tin verse 4, QS. An-Nahl verse 78. This research focuses on verses on child rearing methods through a maqasidi interpretation approach. According to the maqasidi interpretation approach, the verses that describe the verse contain aspects of maqasidi including hifz al-din (guarding religion), hifz al-nafs (guarding the soul), hifz al-'aql (guarding reason), hifz al-nasl ( guarding offspring), and hifz al-mal (guarding property) and hifd al-daulah (guarding the state).

Abstract

Kesiman Village, located in Trawas District, Mojokerto Regency, has significant agricultural potential, particularly in yellow sweet potatoes and green mustard greens. However, these agricultural products have not been optimally utilized, as most of the community sells them in fresh form without processing to increase their added value. This situation results in low selling prices and limited shelf life, preventing the local economy from fully developing. To address this issue, it is essential to enhance the community's knowledge and skills in processing local agricultural products into value-added goods, which can boost competitiveness and extend the shelf life of these products. This community service activity involved 24 participants, including Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) operators and residents of Kesiman Village. Through a workshop titled "Creative Food Processing," participants were trained in techniques for processing yellow sweet potatoes into sticks and green mustard greens into nuggets, which have the potential to create new business opportunities. The activity successfully increased participant enthusiasm, with over 80% expressing satisfaction with the material and training provided, and gaining valuable new knowledge on food processing. The results of this activity showed that most participants were able to understand and practice the food processing techniques, indicating that this effort could encourage the diversification of local food products and enhance the economic value of agricultural yields in Kesiman Village. Desa Kesiman, Kecamatan Trawas, Kabupaten Mojokerto, memiliki potensi pertanian yang besar, khususnya dalam komoditas ubi jalar kuning dan sayur sawi hijau. Namun, hasil pertanian ini belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal karena sebagian besar masyarakat menjualnya dalam bentuk segar tanpa melalui proses pengolahan yang dapat meningkatkan nilai tambah. Kondisi ini menyebabkan harga jual yang rendah dan keterbatasan masa simpan produk, sehingga ekonomi masyarakat lokal belum sepenuhnya berkembang. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, diperlukan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah hasil pertanian lokal menjadi produk bernilai tambah, yang dapat meningkatkan daya saing serta memperpanjang masa simpan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diikuti oleh 24 peserta yang terdiri dari pelaku Industri Kecil Menengah (IKM) dan warga Desa Kesiman. Melalui workshop bertema "Pengolahan Pangan Kreatif", peserta diberikan pelatihan mengenai teknik pengolahan ubi jalar kuning menjadi stik ubi jalar dan sawi hijau menjadi nugget, yang berpotensi menjadi peluang usaha baru. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan antusiasme peserta, dengan lebih dari 80% menyatakan puas terhadap materi dan pelatihan yang diberikan, serta merasa mendapatkan pengetahuan baru yang bermanfaat dalam pengolahan pangan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta mampu memahami dan mempraktikkan teknik pengolahan pangan tersebut, sehingga diharapkan dapat mendorong diversifikasi produk pangan lokal dan meningkatkan nilai ekonomi hasil pertanian di Desa Kesiman.

Abstract

Surah al-Fatihah is known by various other names. First, Surah al-fatihah, this surah is the opening surah of the Qur'an and is read in every prayer, as explained by Ath-Thabari. Second, Ummul Kitab, which means "Mother of the Book," this surah covers the essence of the teachings of the Qur'an. In this surah al-fatihah, there is also praise to Allah, recognition of His power, devotion to Him, obedience to His commands and prohibitions, and a request to be guided to His pleasure. The name "um" in Arabic is often used to refer to something that encompasses a variety of things. During life, whether consciously or unconsciously, the mind has a great influence in dealing with all situations, and can even affect changes in a person. The outward appearance of a human being is a reflection of his inner world. A person becomes what he thinks, because the mind gives energy to realize what he wants to achieve. The prophets chosen by God to get guidance and guide mankind to the truth, have a special way of thinking. They always say and act correctly, have seriousness, trust, intelligence, and openness, and convey something that must be conveyed. They are awakened from sin and transgression, keeping their identity well. Likewise the story experienced by the prophet Ayyub As.
