Abstract

Abstract In the era of modern governance that demands efficiency and accountability, the role of a secretary has evolved beyond routine administrative duties to include strategic responsibilities in managing small-scale finances such as petty cash. This study aims to analyzethe secretary's contribution in ensuring transparency and accountability in petty cash management at PT Terracotta Indonesia, using a literature review method supported by a case study approach. The findings reveal that the implementation of the imprest system, detailed transaction recording, and verification of expenditures by the secretary play a crucial role in upholding good governance principles. The secretary is not only responsible for administrative tasks but also acts as a front-line controller in internal supervision, micro-financial reporting, and fraud prevention. These results highlight that the secretary's professionalism in managing petty cash is a vital component in building a transparent, accountable, and efficient corporate governance system. Keywords: Petty Cash, Secretary, Transparency, Accountability, Good Governance, Internal Control Abstrak Dalam era tata kelola modern yang menuntut efisiensidan akuntabilitas, peran sekretaris tidak lagi terbataspada tugas administratif semata, melainkan turutmenjadi bagian strategis dalam pengelolaan keuanganberskala kecil, seperti kas kecil (petty cash). Penelitianini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi sekretarisdalam menjaga transparansi dan akuntabilitaspengelolaan kas kecil di PT Terracotta Indonesia, dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur yang didukung studi kasus. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwapenerapan sistem imprest, pencatatan transaksi yang rinci, serta verifikasi bukti pengeluaran oleh sekretarisberperan penting dalam mendukung prinsip good governance. Sekretaris tidak hanya menjalankan fungsipencatatan, tetapi juga menjadi garda terdepan dalampengawasan internal, pelaporan keuangan mikro, dan pencegahan penyalahgunaan dana. Temuan inimenegaskan bahwa profesionalisme sekretaris dalampengelolaan kas kecil menjadi elemen vital dalammembangun sistem tata kelola perusahaan yang transparan, akuntabel, dan efisien. Abstract

Carmine coloring is a type of food coloring that is used to increase the attractiveness of food. This dye produces red and its derivatives. Apart from being used in food, this dye is also often found in beauty products. However, this carmine dye has sparked controversy among Muslims, this controversy is motivated by differences of opinion in determining the law on its use. Among them are legal contradictions issued by Majelis Ulama Indonesia and Lajnah Bahtsul Masa'il Nahdlatul Ulama. Therefore, this research is here to discuss several main things, first is to find out the legal procedures between Majelis Ulama Indonesia and Lajnah Bahtsul Masa'il Nahdlatul Ulama, second is to find out the legal product for the use of carmine dye from Majelis Ulama Indonesia and Lajnah Bahtsul Masa 'il Nahdlatul Ulama. This research uses qualitative research methods with pure library research as the data source. As a result, the law for using carmine dye according to Majelis Ulama Indonesia is halal, in contrast to the Lajnah Bahtsul Masa'il Nahdlatul Ulama which stipulates that the use of this dye is haram.

Abstract

Although the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model has been widely studied as an innovative learning strategy, research that specifically discusses its implementation and impact on Fiqh learning outcomes at the Madrasah Aliyah level, particularly on the topic of funeral rites, remains limited. This study aims to explain the implementation of the PBL model, determine the improvement in learning outcomes, and identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its application in the Fiqh subject at MA Ismailiyah Ngusikan Jombang. This study used a qualitative approach with a Classroom Action Research design conducted in two cycles, involving 12 tenth-grade students as the research subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, tests (pretest and posttest), and documentation, and were then analyzed using a comparative descriptive technique to compare the results across cycles. The results showed that the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model was able to significantly improve students’ learning outcomes, with the average score increasing from 52.5 in the pre-cycle to 70 in Cycle I and 83.3 in Cycle II. Classical learning completeness also increased from 8.3% to 91.6% at the end of Cycle II. These findings contribute to strengthening constructivist and cognitive theory, while also expanding understanding of the effectiveness of problem-based learning in the context of Islamic religious education. This study concludes that the teacher’s role as a facilitator and the use of contextual problems are important factors in improving Fiqh learning outcomes, and also underscores the need for educators’ creativity in designing problem-based learning to support the improvement of learning quality in madrasah.

Abstract

Although structured Qur’an learning has received attention in a number of studies, research that specifically examines the detailed process of implementing the Tartil method, as well as its supporting and inhibiting factors in the pondok pesantren environment, remains limited. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Tartil method, the improvement of students’ Qur’an reading ability, and its supporting and inhibiting factors at Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Sengon Jombang. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design involving seven informants selected purposively, consisting of the pengasuh, curriculum coordinator, teacher, and students. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and were then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model through the stages of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings showed that the implementation of the Tartil method was carried out systematically through the stages of talqin-ittiba', the 3M method (Listening, Imitating, Seeing), and continuous evaluation, and was proven effective in improving the accuracy of makharijul huruf, compliance with tajwid rules, and the students’ reading fluency. The main supporting factors included teacher competence, a religious and disciplined pesantren environment, adequate learning facilities, and the students’ intrinsic motivation. The inhibiting factors included differences in the students’ initial abilities, lack of concentration, limited learning space during the rainy season, and limited teacher availability at certain times. The conclusion of this study confirms that the Tartil method plays an important role in systematically improving the quality of the students’ Qur’an recitation. These findings contribute to the development of the literature on Qur’anic pedagogy and provide practical implications for pondok pesantren to strengthen teacher training, maintain a conducive learning environment, and develop adaptive strategies to overcome physical and motivational barriers. This study also opens opportunities for further research on the long-term retention of Tartil method-based skills and its comparative effectiveness with other methods, such as Ummi or Tilawati.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has influenced students’ morals and behavior, particularly at the junior high school level. Although digital media can support the learning process, its increasingly widespread use has also raised various moral issues in the school environment. This study aims to analyze the optimization of the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in overcoming students’ moral degradation in the digital era at SMP Negeri 1 Peterongan. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving PAI teachers, students, and school stakeholders. The data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was strengthened through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results showed that students’ moral degradation was marked by declining discipline, reduced respect for teachers, misuse of digital devices, and weak behavioral control. This condition was influenced by internal factors in the form of students’ habits and self-control abilities, as well as external factors in the form of exposure to social media, peer influence, and limited parental supervision. In addressing these problems, PAI teachers optimized their roles as educators, role models, motivators, and counselors through religious habituation, personal approaches, exemplary conduct, spiritual motivation, and supervision of students’ behavior. These findings contribute to the development of studies on character education based on Islamic values in the context of the digital era. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that addressing students’ moral degradation requires the continuous and integrated optimization of the role of PAI teachers through synergy among schools, families, and communities.
