Abstract

Soal cerita matematika adalah soal matematika yang dinyatakan dalam kalimat matematis dan harus diubah ke persamaan matematis untuk diselesaikan. Dasar dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita adalah peserta didik memiliki kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan matematika yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesulitan yang dialami peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita, faktor penyebab kesulitan, dan upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi kesulitan. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dan disajikan dalam bentuk deskriptif dengan alur penelitian yang sistematis. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan melalui observasi, wawancara, tes, dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian ditemukan kesulitan peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita meliputi kesulitan dalam memahami materi, kesulitan dalam memahami soal, kesulitan dalam berhitung, dan kesulitan dalam menuliskan kalimat matematis. Ditemukan pula faktor penyebabnya yaitu sikap negatif dalam belajar, motivasi belajar rendah, variasi mengajar guru yang kurang, media pembelajaran yang belum memadai, dan pendampingan orang tua yang rendah. Maka upaya yang dapat dilakukan yaitu mengajarkan materi sesuai dengan teori belajar, menggunakan media pembelajaran yang relevan, memperbanyak latihan soal, dan kerjasama antara guru dan orang tua. Kesimpulannya, peserta didik mengalami kesulitan dalam pemahaman konsep satuan berat dan keterampilan matematika. Kesulitan tersebut disebabkan oleh beberapa penyebab, baik dari dalam diri peserta didik maupun dari lingkungan belajar.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Augmented Reality-based learning media called Big Book to improve learning outcomes of solar system material in grade VI of the Borg and Gall development model through 8 stages. First, the needs and problems analysis stage. Second, the data collection stage includes interviews, observations, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. Third, media product design. Fourth, the expert validation stage. Fifth, product revision. Sixth, the small-scale trial stage. Seventh, the final product assessment stage. Eighth, the large-scale trial stage. This study was limited to grade VI students of SDN Cepoko in Semarang City. The results showed that Big Book was included in the 'Very Eligible' criteria for use in learning based on the results of expert validation and materials. The completeness of student learning outcomes also increased significantly with the N-Gain value in the 'Medium' criteria. Big Book was assessed with teacher and student responses included in the 'Very Practical' criteria for use in science learning.

Abstract

Students have difficulty in learning mathematics, which has an impact on low student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of the jigsaw cooperative learning model assisted by the MABAR DI CAPE board media on the interests and learning outcomes of mathematics in grade III Elementary School students. The type of research used was quasi-experimental research (quasi-experimental design) in the form of a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study was 56 grade III students. The sampling technique used in this study used saturated samples. Data collection techniques used by researchers include unstructured interviews, observations, documentation, and tests. The research instruments used in this study were interview guidelines, observation guidelines, documentation guidelines, learning interest questionnaire sheets, and test questions. The research analysis technique used descriptive and statistical analysis. The results of the study showed that there was a difference in learning interest between students who used the jigsaw cooperative learning model and students who used the problem-based learning model in learning mathematics in grade III on the material of Multiplication of integers up to 100. The results of the hypothesis test also showed that students' learning interest in the experimental class was better than the learning interest in the control class. In addition, there is a significant difference in the learning outcomes of students between those who use the jigsaw-type cooperative learning model and those who use assistance in learning mathematics for grade III on the material of Multiplication of whole numbers up to 100. It is concluded that the jigsaw-type cooperative learning model applied in the experimental class is effective for the learning outcomes of grade III students on the material of Multiplication of whole numbers up to 100.

Abstract

The low level of understanding of elementary school teachers in Tegal district, especially in Dukuhturi sub-district, regarding the use of technology in learning is a concern for all parties. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of TPACK in Pancasila education learning, obstacles and solutions. The research method is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects are elementary school teachers in Dukuhturi sub-district. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dengan guru, observasi pada pembelajaran pendidikan Pancasila, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Data analysis includes data collection, reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that first, the implementation of TPACK in Pancasila education learning is applied through: 1) learning media such as canva, wordwall, quiziz, animated videos; 2) learning models, including: PBL, PjBL, Cooperative; 3) learning materials, including: getting to know the surrounding environment, norms, rights and obligations as citizens, mutual cooperation, Pancasila symbols and the sound of its principles, diversity; Second, the obstacles faced by teachers are inadequate facilities and infrastructure; limited knowledge and understanding of technology, requiring more time in learning. Third, the solution, teachers adjust to the existing facilities and infrastructure; teachers must learn again about TPACK; schools are expected to add technology-based facilities and infrastructure so that learning achieves its goals; teachers must be willing to learn with more competent colleagues; teachers must be able to manage time well when learning using technology.

Abstract

This research seeks to assess how character values are applied within mathematics instruction for fourth-grade elementary students and to explore how these students comprehend and respond to learning that integrates such values. The study took place at SDN Kalibanteng 01 in Semarang City, involving participants from three parallel fourth-grade classes: IVA, IVB, and IVC. A descriptive qualitative method was utilized to carry out the research. Data were obtained through interviews, classroom observations, analysis of documentation, and student questionnaires. Results show that teachers have embedded character values like discipline, honesty, responsibility, collaboration, and religiosity into their mathematics teaching practices. These values were infused both during classroom activities and throughout instructional planning. The incorporation of character values not only enhanced students’ understanding of mathematical concepts but also encouraged more positive, engaged attitudes toward learning. In conclusion, the study emphasizes the vital role of teachers in consistently fostering character values through mathematics education to help nurture well-rounded and morally grounded students.
