Abstract

Cost theory is one of the fundamental concepts in economics that explains how firms allocate resources to produce goods or services. In economic analysis, costs are categorized into short-run and long-run costs. In the short run, there are inputs that are fixed, limiting the firm's ability to adjust the scale of production. This leads to the concepts of fixed costs and variable costs. In contrast, in the long run, all inputs are variable, giving firms full flexibility to adjust their scale of production, which results in the formation of the long-run cost curve. This curve serves as an envelope of various short-run cost curves and reflects production efficiency at different scales. Understanding the differences between short-run and long-run costs is essential for firms in making decisions, particularly in production planning and long-term investment.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of digital learning media on students' motivation by analyzing findings from various credible journal articles. As technology advances, digital tools have become a crucial component of modern education. The research employs a systematic literature review method, synthesizing empirical evidence from recent educational journals. The results indicate that digital learning media—such as e-learning platforms, educational videos, interactive applications, and digital simulations—significantly enhance students' motivation by providing dynamic, engaging, and accessible learning experiences. However, its effectiveness depends on factors like teachers' technological proficiency, infrastructure availability, and students' readiness for digital-based learning. The study concludes that while digital learning media holds great potential in boosting motivation, its successful implementation requires appropriate teaching strategies and adequate support systems.

Abstract

The National Food Assistance Program (Non-Cash Food Assistance/BPNT) is one of the social policy instruments designed by the Indonesian government to enhance food security and improve the welfare of poor households. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of this program by assessing its accessibility, targeting accuracy, commodity quality, and its impact on household expenditure and stability of food consumption. The research methodology uses a descriptive-analytical approach, combining secondary data from official government reports and academic literature with primary data in the form of a limited survey of beneficiaries. The results of the analysis indicate that the program is quite effective in increasing poor households' access to staple foods, primarily through the more transparent and flexible non-cash distribution mechanism. However, several constraints are still found, including inaccurate targeting of beneficiaries, variation in food quality at the e-warung level, and the limited digital literacy of some households.Nevertheless, the program is proven to be able to reduce the burden of food expenditure and improve consumption quality, thereby contributing positively to the welfare of poor households. This research suggests improving the validation of beneficiary data, supervising distribution, and expanding food and digital education for the community to further optimize the program's effectiveness.
