Abstract

oleh mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan literasi sains dan numerasi siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD) Mosso di Kec. Muara Tami, Kota Jayapura, yang terletak di wilayah 3T (terluar, terdepan, dan tertinggal). Program pendampingan ini melibatkan mahasiswa sebagai pengajar sementara yang membantu siswa dalam memahami konsep-konsep dasar sains dan matematika melalui pendekatan yang interaktif dan berbasis pengalaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman siswa terhadap materi sains dan numerasi setelah mengikuti program pendampingan. Peningkatan ini tercermin dalam nilai tes pre-test dan post-test yang menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan. Selain itu, penggunaan metode pembelajaran berbasis eksperimen dan permainan edukatif terbukti efektif dalam menarik minat siswa dan meningkatkan keterampilan numerasi mereka. Meskipun demikian, keterbatasan fasilitas dan durasi program menjadi tantangan utama yang mempengaruhi efektivitasnya. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pemahaman tentang peran mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di daerah 3T dan dapat dijadikan sebagai model untuk program pendampingan serupa di daerah lain.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the integration of Papuan local wisdom through the activity of making ongol-ongol food from sago in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning in Grade V of SD Al-Ihsan Yapis Kotaraja. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The research subjects consisted of grade V teachers, grade V students, and the principal who participated in the learning process activities based on Papuan local wisdom. The data collection process through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the learning process of making ongol-ongol from sago can increase students' understanding of the material of changes in the state of matter, the concept of food, and increase a sense of pride in Papuan local wisdom. In addition, the implementation of the integration of Papuan local wisdom supports the learning of IPAS to be more contextual, meaningful, strengthens the character values ​​of mutual cooperation, and students' attitudes of responsibility. The integration of Papuan local wisdom through education is expected to be sustainable and developed in the IPAS learning process to create student learning experiences.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the effectiveness of teaching descriptive and inferential statistics to third-semester students of the Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Program at Universitas Cenderawasih through the development of an interactive digital learning module based on constructivist theory. The module is equipped with instructional videos, interactive simulations, online quizzes, and discussion forums to facilitate both independent and collaborative learning. The research results show a significant increase (p<0.05) in learning motivation by 25% and conceptual understanding of statistics by 15% in the experimental group using the digital module compared to the control group. Qualitative analysis revealed that students felt more motivated, actively engaged, and able to connect statistical concepts with real-world situations. This digital module demonstrates great potential as a more engaging and effective alternative learning resource, particularly in the context of online or blended learning.
