Abstract

The biggest waste in Indonesia is plastic waste, even though the government has stopped using plastic bags in minimarkets, plastic waste is still the biggest waste in Indonesia. One way to handle plastic waste is by recycling, such as recycling plastic bottles through ecobricks. Ecobricks themselves are to overcome the problem of plastic waste by collecting, cleaning and packaging plastic into very dense plastic bottles. Its function is to extend the life of the plastic by processing it into something that can be used or is useful. The method used is counseling in the form of socializing ecobricks in the form of chairs which will be socialized on how to make and use them in the Pongangan Rejo area, Manyar District, Gresik Regency with the aim of the community being creative and innovative in utilizing plastic waste and protecting the surrounding environment. The results obtained are that the community can make good use of plastic waste, and are able to make ecobrick products in the form of chairs or anything else, both for personal needs and for the surrounding community.

Abstract

Artikel ini meneliti tentang relasi makna yang terdapat di dalam lagu daerah Madura. Menurut Riemer terdapat empat komponen penting dalam menganalisis relasi makna yakni, antonimi, meronimi, hiponimi dan sinonimi. Menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, penelitian ini menganalisis sebanyak tiga lagu daerah Madura yang berjudul tandu’ majeng, pajjher laghu, dan kembheng malate pote. Tujuan ketiga lagu ini dipilih karena pertama, peneliti ingin terus melestarikan keberadaan lagu-lagu daerah, kedua di dalam lagu-lagu tersebut mengandung makna yang mendalam terkait dengan nilai-nilai yang terdapat pada masyarakat Madura. Agar pesan tersebut tersampaikan peneliti tertarik untuk menelitinya menggunakan analisis kajian semantik pada relasi makna. Adapun pengumpulan data melalui teknik membaca dan memahami secara mendalam dari teks lagu yang telah dipilih. Sementara itu, teknik analisis data menggunakan enam langkah menurut Creswell yang terdiri dari mengorganisir, mengkodekan, mendeskripsikan, menyajikan, menafsirkan, dan memvalidasi data. Untuk memvalidasi temuan peneliti menggunakan member checking agar ditinjau kembali hasil yang telah ditemukan. Befrdasarkan hasil pembahasan, temuan ini menunjukkan relasi makna yang terdapat di dalam ketiga lagu daerah Madura yang terdiri dari empat komponen penting menurut Riemer yakni, antonimi, meronimi, hiponimi, dan sinonimi. Hasil temuan pada penelitian ini dapat mempermudah pembaca atau pendengar dalam memahami makna yang terdapat di dalam lagu-lagu daerah. Selain itu, melalui pesan-pesan yang sangat mendalam yang terdapat pada lagu-lagu daerah Madura dapat menjadikan  motivasi bagi masyarakat sebagaimana yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat Madura.

Abstract

Pada pembelajaran matematika lebih ditekankan kepada pengembangan kemampuan dan pemrosesan informasi. Sehingga aktivitas siswa khususnya dalam kegiatan latihan soal ini perlu ditinggkatkan baik khususnya secara berkelompok kecil. Penelitian ini bermula dari nilai ketuntasan siswa kelas III SDN Pajarakan Kulon II yang masih rendah. Nilai yang masih rendah itu perlu untuk ditingkatkan dan salah satu yang diupayakan yakni dengan mengembangkan metode pembelajaran. Metode TPS menjadi salah satu solusi yang diharapkan dapat untuk meningkatkan nilai siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat dilihat jika terdapat trend kenaikan nilai ketuntasan belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode TPS khususnya pada mata pelajaran matematika materi sifat – sifat hitung pada bilangan cacah. Rataan nilai siswa pada siklus I 64,62, siklus II 73,85, dan siklus III meningkat menjadi 81,54. Adapun prosentase ketuntasan siswa pada siklus I 53,85%, siklus II 81,54%, dan siklus III semua siswa tuntas mencapai 100,00%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need for effective learning strategies in increasing student motivation and learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at Vocational High Schools (SMK). As an integral part of the curriculum, PAI has a central role in shaping students' character, morals and religious values. However, its implementation is often faced with challenges, mainly related to a lack of student involvement and a lack of variety in teaching strategies. Therefore, this research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) strategy in increasing student motivation and learning outcomes in PAI subjects at Miftahul Ulum Vocational School, Tanjung Senang. Using a quantitative approach and associative verification method, this research involved class X OTKP and RPL students as research subjects. The research results show that there is a significant relationship between the use of PBL strategies and student learning motivation and learning outcomes, with the PBL variable making a significant contribution in increasing student learning motivation and learning outcomes. The conclusion of this research highlights the importance of implementing innovative learning strategies such as PBL in the context of Islamic religious education in vocational schools, while considering the need for support and attention to challenges that may arise in the implementation process.

Abstract

In the world of education, the principal certainly has the task of making decisions within a school. This study aims to determine the decision-making process of the madrasah principal in achieving the vision and mission of Islamic education at MI Sultan Fatah Demak. This study uses qualitative methods and data collection in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the decision-making process is based on 5 stages, namely the problem-solving stage, determining criteria and identifying alternative problem-solving, the stage of assessing alternative problem-solving, the stage of selecting the best latent, and the stage of determining decisions that according to respondents are wise in making decisions. The madrasah principal pays attention from the stage of formulating problems and identifying problems to determining decisions or disseminating decisions taken. However, there are suggestions from respondents that a new method needs to be created so that when making decisions it is not influenced by any party.

Abstract

Through the beauty of its metaphor, poetry has a very strong appeal to the listener and the reader. The existence of poetry is often an important part of the means of communication, especially in preaching. Barzanji's poem is a form of representation of the life of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH which is framed in the form of a very beautiful metaphorical sentence. This study aims to analyze and describe religious values in the form of metaphorical sentences in the poem Barzanji by Abu Ja'far Al-Barzanji which is related to the religious values of the Prophet. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive with data in the form of word order. The data were analyzed referring to religious values consisting of exemplary values, glory, purity, respect, and compassion. The results of this study show that Barzanji's poems contain religious values that are shaped in metaphors. The analysis of religious values in Barzanji's poems is important as an effort to provide an understanding that the existence of literary works has a very important role in strengthening spiritual identity in the present and the future. Through the study of Islamic literature, it can teach about the importance of strengthening religious teachings as a guide to achieve the true goals of life. This research produces references in maintaining Islamic values in the world of education. The richness of religious values in Barzanji's poems which is directly guided by the behavior of the Prophet can be one of the reasons for the importance of analyzing Islamic literary works.
