Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of PT Indonesian Tourism Development (Persero) or Injourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) in encouraging the growth of the hospitality sector in Bali. through descriptive qualitative methods, this study focuses on analyzing the development of the hospitality sector in Bali before and after the presence of ITDC. vOne of the roles of ITDC which aims to improve the quality of tourism also encourages sector growth in the field of hospitality as accommodation that combines the 5A concept in tourism (Attractions, Accessibility, Amenity, Accommodation and Activities). So that there is a rapid increase in the number and capacity of star hotels, an increase in occupancy rates, as well as the entry of large amounts of foreign direct investment into the hospitality sector which is a driver of hospitality sector growth. The results show that ITDC has had a very significant impact on the growth of the hospitality sector in Bali. This research highlights the importance of the role of SOEs in encouraging the development of the tourism sector and making a real contribution to regional economic growth.

Abstract

Penelitian ini meneliti transformasi peran gender dalam pengambilan keputusan ekonomi dalam keluarga kelas menengah di Medan, Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologis dan analisis tematik, penelitian ini melibatkan wawancara dengan tiga generasi, kakek-nenek, orang tua, dan anak-anak dewasa, dari keluarga Batak, Tionghoa, Melayu, dan Jawa. Temuan menunjukkan adanya pergeseran bertahap dari struktur patriarki ke dinamika yang lebih egaliter, terutama di kalangan generasi muda. Faktor-faktor seperti pendidikan, rumah tangga berpenghasilan ganda, dan urbanisasi berkontribusi terhadap pergeseran ini, di samping perubahan ekspektasi budaya. Perempuan semakin berpartisipasi dalam keputusan keuangan, yang menandakan penyeimbangan kembali otoritas domestik. Meskipun terdapat perbedaan budaya di antara kelompok etnis, tren bersama menuju kesetaraan gender terlihat jelas. Perubahan ini meningkatkan komunikasi keluarga, rasa saling menghormati, dan kohesi. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa peran gender yang berkembang mencerminkan modernisasi masyarakat dan praktik budaya adaptif, yang menunjukkan definisi ulang yang lebih luas tentang hubungan kekuasaan keluarga dalam konteks perkotaan Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the urgency of anti-corruption education as a preventive measure to prevent acts of corruption, viewed both from the aspects of formal education and public services. This research was conducted using the literature study method. The researcher conducted a literature study with the aim of providing an in-depth understanding of the importance of anti-corruption education and the importance of the value of integrity in society, so that the researcher grouped, processed and used only relevant literature. The research results show that anti-corruption education as an effort to prevent criminal acts of corruption should be carried out as early as possible. In other words, it is very urgent that anti-corruption education be applied to students and every group, including state civil servants as holders and regulators of public interests. In this way, Indonesia's goal as a land of integrity can be fully achieved.
