Abstract

This article discusses the concept, boundaries, and paths of Islamic education as a fundamental framework in efforts to develop a complete Muslim individual. Islamic education is not only interpreted as a process of transferring knowledge, but also as character formation based on religious values. The concept of Islamic education includes efforts to foster faith, increase knowledge, and form noble morals. The boundaries of Islamic education include dimensions of space and time, starting from family, school, to society, and last a lifetime. Meanwhile, the path of Islamic education includes formal, non-formal, and informal paths that complement each other in achieving holistic educational goals. By understanding these three aspects, it is hoped that Islamic education will be able to answer the challenges of the times without losing its essence as a shaper of perfect human beings.

Abstract

The Student Management Information System (SIMKES) is an information technology-based system designed to assist educational institutions in managing student data and activities more efficiently, accurately, and in an integrated manner. SIMKES includes essential features such as student data recording, attendance management, academic progress monitoring, reporting of violations and achievements, as well as integration with parent or guardian reporting systems. The system aims to replace manual processes that are time-consuming and prone to errors, while also improving transparency and the quality of administrative services in education. This study adopts a software engineering approach using the waterfall model, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and evaluation stages. The testing results show that SIMKES enhances the performance of school administrative staff, facilitates teachers in student monitoring, and provides fast data access for school leaders to support strategic decision-making. Moreover, its online reporting feature allows parents to actively monitor their child’s development. SIMKES plays a crucial role in the digital transformation of the education sector, supporting the creation of a modern, efficient, and responsive administrative system that meets current demands.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan dalam suatu organisasi, dengan mengkaji teori motivasi dan kinerja. Motivasi merupakan faktor internal yang mendorong individu untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu, sedangkan kinerja mencerminkan hasil kerja yang dicapai berdasarkan standar atau target yang telah ditetapkan. Bertujuan mengetahui sejauh mana motivasi berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kinerja. Tulisan ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara tingkat motivasi kerja dengan pencapaian kinerja. Oleh karena itu, organisasi perlu menerapkan strategi yang mampu mendorong semangat kerja karyawan agar hasil kerja optimal dapat tercapai secara berkelanjutan.
