Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of the family in shaping the character of adolescents during puberty through an Islamic religious education approach. The study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, involving families with adolescents aged 12-18 years. The findings show that the family plays a significant role in instilling moral and ethical values of Islam, which help adolescents face challenges such as social pressure and identity crises. Effective communication between parents and adolescents is a key factor in the success of this process. The study concludes that the consistent application of religious values within the family can foster a strong and positive character in adolescents.

Abstract

The school is one of the strategic places for forming character, family, and society. This is what underlies the need for a character education program in a school, intra-curricular, co- curricular, and extracurricular activities. The purpose of this study is to find out what kind of character-strengthening strategies can build student character based on the values of Islamic teachings. This type of research is qualitative research. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that strengthening character education through Islamic religious education at SMPN 01 Pemalang includes class-based character education in the form of a child's psychological approach, school-based character education in the form of lesson plan preparation that can form good character to students, community-based character education is implemented in activities in student extracurriculars, such as Rohis. In addition, character education is also carried out through guidance and counselling. From this implementation stage, it can be said that the spirit of character education has been appropriately implemented and optimally to have a good effect on students' character.

Abstract

This study aims to elucidate educational supervision related to learning assessment at Elementary School. A qualitative descriptive approach was utilized through observation and interviews. The research results provide feedback for the school principal and teachers at SD Negeri Salit Kajen, enhancing readers' understanding. Supervision of administrative lesson planning, instructional activities, and learning assessment is deemed effective. The school principal conducts supervision annually, involving the preparation of documents such as Annual Programs, Semester Programs, ATP, Teaching Modules, Academic Calendars, and others. Data analysis indicates that instructional supervision occurs directly in classrooms, and assessment supervision aims to enhance educational quality by encouraging teachers' self-evaluation annually.

Abstract

This research seeks to explore how genetic factors, inherent characteristics, and the learning environment interact to shape children's potential.The research employs a literature review method by analyzing relevant previous studies. Heredity provides the biological and genetic foundation that influences intelligence, talents, and personality. Meanwhile, innate traits function as initial potentials possessed since birth, which require stimulation to develop optimally. The educational environment, both formal and non-formal, serves as a crucial medium that facilitates this development through teaching, habituation, and social interaction. The findings indicate that a child’s potential is not solely determined by genetic factors, but rather results from the dynamic interaction between heredity, innate traits, and educational environment. Therefore, efforts to develop children’s potential must consider a balance between empowering internal factors and providing a supportive educational setting. This study is expected to offer theoretical contributions to educational psychology and serve as a practical reference for designing holistic learning strategies.

Abstract

Teori perkembangan sosial-emosi Erikson menyediakan kerangkan dalam memahami perkembangan seseorang dan konflik psikososial yang dihadapi pada setiap tahapannya. Teori ini memiliki dampak yang positif bagi peserta didik ketika dapat diterapkan secara efektif dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan baru dalam mengembangkan kurikulum yang juga mendukung perkembangan sosial dan emosi peserta didik secara keseluruhan. Metode yang digunakan berupa pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan sumber data studi kepustakaan. Sumber data yang digunakan berupa: Artikel ilmiah, jurnal, E-book, skripsi dan tesis. Kemudian analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik desktiptif untuk dapat menggambarkan secara jelas fenomena yang terjadi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teori perkembangan sosial-emosi Erikson dapat membantu peserta didik dalam perkembangan psikososialnya. Teori ini juga dapat membantu peserta didik dalam mencari identitas, minat serta bakat sebagai bekal untuk masa depan. Namun penerapannya belum sepenuhnya efektif karena beberapa faktor seperti kurangnya pemahaman guru terhadap teori ini. Kurangnya pelatihan formal bagi guru untuk menerapkan teori ini dalam pembelajaran dan pengetahuan tentang hubungan perkembangan sosial-emosi peserta didik dengan pembelajaran.
