Abstract

The utilization of intellectual resources in business is growing rapidly today. It is characterized by creative ideas emerging from organizations and companies that are competing in all areas. This research aims to examine the influence of entreprenuership orientation toward innovation capability mediating by intellectual resources. This research employs a quantitative approach using survey method. Data collection was conducted at 61 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Furniture located in Madiun area, East Java from February to July 2017. The data were analyzed using measurement model of structural equation modeling supported by partial least square (PLS) 3.0 software. This study shows that entrepreneurship orientation has a positive and significant effect on intellectual resources and innovation capability, while the influence of intellectual resources has no effect on innovation capability. The result of mediation testing of intellectual resources as mediator between entrepreneurship orientations and innovation capability is not proven in this research.Keywords: intellectual resources, entrepreneurship orientations, innovation capability, furniture, PLS

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influences of human capital toward competitive advantage mediating by strategy. This research employs quantitative approach using survey method. Data collection was conducted at 42 minimarket managers located in Madiun City, East Java, Indonesia. The data were analyzed using measurement model of structural equation modeling supported by Smart PLS 3.0 software. The results of the research find out that human capital has significant and positive influences towards strategy and competitive advantage. In addition, strategy has significant and positive influences toward competitive advantage. Whereas, strategy has partially mediated the influence of human capital toward competitive advantage.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Budaya saling percaya antara karyawan dan manajemen perusahaan akan menunjang kenyamanan karyawan bekerja dan akan menyebabkan karyawan menyelesaikan tugasnya dengan baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Data primer digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah self report dengan menggunakan self-administered survey dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner secara langsung kepada para responden. Analisis data menggunakan model pengukuran persamaan struktural dengan software Smart PLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian mendukung hipotesis yang diajukan bahwa budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja 87 karyawan PDAM Kota Madiun. Sedangkan peran mediasi kepuasan kerja adalah secara parsial. ABSTRACT A culture of mutual trust between employees and company management will support the comfort of employees working and will cause employees to complete their duties properly. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The primary data used in this research is self-report using a self-administered survey by distributing questionnaires directly to the respondents. Data analysis used a structural equation measurement model with Smart PLS 3.0 software. The results of the study support the proposed hypothesis that organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on the performance of 87 employees of PDAM Madiun City. While the mediating role of job satisfaction is partial.

Abstract

Retail mix is ​​a tool used to implement and handle the development of retail strategies to satisfy the needs of more target markets than competitors. This research was conducted to determine which factors predominantly influence purchasing decisions in retail companies. In addition, this study aims to analyze the influence of retail mix consisting of customer service, store design & display, communication mix, location, merchandise assortment, and pricing of consumer purchasing decisions in retail stores in the city of Madiun. A sample of 100 people with purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques. Respondents are consumers in retail stores in Madiun City which consist of 3 Sub-Districts namely Taman Subdistrict, Kartoharjo District and Manguharjo District. Multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of the simultaneous retail mix research have a significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions. Partially variable store design & display, merchandise assortment, and pricing have a significant positive effect on consumer purchasing decisions. Customer service variables have a significant negative effect on consumer purchasing decisions. Communication mix and location variables have no significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions. Subsequent research needs to include a variable post-purchase behavior because the customer will evaluate the experience after making a purchasing decision.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of one of the processes in knowledge management, namely knowledge application on millennial entrepreneurs in utilizing technology in business processes. The research sample is millennial entrepreneurs with 153 respondents through an online survey via a google form. Data analysis using confirmatory factor analysis, descriptive test, and regression test. According to the findings of this study, knowledge application has a substantial impact on the use of millennial entrepreneurial technologies. Smartphones are the most commonly utilized information technology media among millennial entrepreneurs in this study. The millennial entrepreneurship promotion media tools studied use social media and the type of business for millennial entrepreneurs is dominated by the fashion business.

Abstract

The development of technical knowledge has encouraged many business activities utilizing communication tools and technologies in business processes. This study aims to test the effect of knowledge acquisition and knowledge application of millennial technopreneurs in Indonesia in utilizing technology for their business activities. A total of 153 respondents were surveyed through online questionnaires. SEM analysis is used to test the research model. This study found that millennial technopreneurs ignore acquiring knowledge about business activities. But significant results showed that millennial technopreneurs immediately applied knowledge without looking at previous knowledge acquisition processes.

Abstract

Dengan melakukan pengujian secara simultan dan parsial tujuan pelaksanaan penelitian ini dimaksudkan adalah untuk menguji adanya pengaruh electronic word of mouth terhadap minat beli konsumen kosmetik revlon. Dalam penelitian diambil sebanyak 100 responden yaitu orang yang pernah menonton review kosmetik Revlon melalui youtube atau instagram dan berminat membeli kosmetik revlon. Purposive sampling dijadikan teknik pengambilan sampel. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan Uji t dan uji F. Dimensi dalam electronic Word Of Mouth secara simultan menunjukan pengaruh positif signifikan Terhadap Minat Beli Konsumen. Secara parsial kualitas  argumen, kredibilitas sumber, persepsi sumber, gaya sumber dan sikap terhadap informasi mendapatkan hasil signifikansi pengaruh positif terhadap minat beli konsumen.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh motivasi, program pelatihan, dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia terhadap kinerja frontliner BCA KCU Madiun. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh frontliner BCA KCU Madiun yang berjumlah 40 orang meliputi bagian teller, customer service officer (CSO) beserta kepala bagian masing-masing unit, sesuai dengan jumlah populasi. Dari hasil pengujian uji t menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dan program pelatihan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja frontliner BCA KCU Madiun, sedangkan pengembangan sumber daya manusia tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja frontliner BCA KCU Madiun. Dengan demikian, sebaikanya perusahaan mampu mempertahankan pemberian motivasi dan program pelatihan yang tepat dan efektif yang sudah dilakukan, selain itu diharapkan adanya peningkatan program pengembangan sumber daya manusia bagi karyawan untuk peningkatan kinerja karyawan khususnya bagian frontliner
