In addition to local expertise that we must conserve, such as folklore, the rapid growth of technology in the field of education makes learning easier through tools like audio-visual animation media. Malin Kundang is just one example of the many varieties of folklore that exist. The goals of this research are threefold: (1) to determine whether or not students can benefit from learning about Malin Kundang folklore; (2) to use Malin Kundang folklore as a means to expand vocabulary; and (3) to determine whether or not using Malin Kundang folklore can be used to improve learning outcomes. In this work, we employ quantitative techniques. In order to describe events, establish links, or test hypotheses, quantitative research relies on the collection and analysis of numerical data. A student survey is one example of such a device. The researcher employed SPPS to perform the necessary calculations. Students' comprehension of the English language is significantly improved when they are exposed to animated media based on malin kundang folklore, according to a review of the available research.

The goal of this study was to see how effective Zoom Meetings and Google Classroom are for English language learning in the wake of the Covid 19 pandemic. A survey method is used in the research design. The data for the study was collected using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. A random sample of 53 students was chosen by adjusting the conditions, and the research objective of learning English using Zoom was less effective, with many obstacles encountered, as evidenced by analysis of survey data from respondents, but students believe that learning using Google Classroom was more effective and simple. As a result, it can be concluded that using Google Classroom is more effective and preferred by students because it did not deplete the internet. Researchers also recommend that teachers use Google Classroom for online learning during a pandemic.

Abstract: The aims of this study was to assess students' proficiency with Quillbot to compose error-free original scientific papers in English. This research is a quantitative study. One particular type of data was used for analysis in this study, and that was responses to questionnaires. As a result, it is very important that all students know this. Some students, however, still haven't learned the best method for paraphrasing. These skills can be honed through regular reading or by making use of various online tools, both free and paid. This research consisted of three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation (through student questionnaires), all of which were carried out sequentially. The aim of this experiment was to determine whether using Quillbot would help students commit less plagiarism; however, students need to reread the tool to ensure that the meaning of the cited articles remains consistent. Students were able to take advantage of the software and find it useful to prephrase text without changing its meaning, according to survey findings submitted via google forms.

The kids' vocabulary prevented them from fully mastering the four pillars of English language proficiency. As a result, it was decided to investigate "The Effect of Crossword Media on Students' Vocabulary Acquisition and Oral Communication." To improve their English, students can look into ways to expand their vocabulary and practice public speaking. After giving some thought to a number of potential approaches to the classroom, the author settled on using crossword puzzles as a means of fostering student growth in these areas. The objectives of this study were to: (1) give a general overview of how crossword puzzles can aid in vocabulary development and retention; (2) offer suggestions for future research; and (3) describe how crossword puzzle-containing media influences students' capacity to learn new words. After information was gathered via a questionnaire, quantitative data analysis was done. A representative sample of SMPIT Bait Et-Tauhied students participated in the study. We sent a questionnaire with 20 distinct sets of statements to 30 students in order to conduct the study. The results demonstrate that a crossword puzzle significantly affects students' understanding and use of va because the validity test of the test with the calculated R value is greater than the R table, demonstrating the validity of the 20 questions completed by the respondents. Additionally, the reliability test using Croanbach alpha demonstrates very reliability, and the case processing summary demonstrates that the number of respondents when filling out the questionnaire is not lost or broken.

The influence of interest in English songs on students' listening skills at SMPN 1 Ciomas is the topic of this research. The goal of this study is to examine the impact that students' interest in English music has on their listening abilities in SMPN 1 Ciomas. This study is based on Slameto's (2010) theory that learning is more effective when it relates to students' interests. In order to analyze a specific population or sample for this study, the author employs a quantitative approach. Data are collected using research instruments, and data processing focus on quantitative/statistical analysis to test the hypotheses that have been set. Tests and questionnaires are employed as research tools. The population of this research is the students in SMPN 1 Ciomas, and the sample is the twelve grader students as many as 31 students. The data is analyzed using regression-correlation analysis. According to the study's findings, listening abilities and interest in English music are significantly positively correlated. Interest in English music has a 71.1% impact on listening abilities. In conclusion, persons who enjoy listening to English music engage in activities related to such songs on a regular basis, enjoying the good feelings that come along with them while also learning new things. This information aids listeners in comprehending what they are hearing. Additionally, since people's attention is enhanced by personal interest, which makes listening more effective, this interest also aids in the listening process.

Learning outcomes were compared between the experimental class and the control class using a quasi-experimental approach with a nonequivalent control group. The pre- and post-treatment group (PPG) was employed. At SMP Negeri 5 Kota Serang, where the pre- and post-design (PPG) methodology was implemented, the research population was comprised of 297 students in grade VIII, and the sample size was 80 from this group. A random sampling strategy was used for the sampling. T test was employed for examination of the data. Based on the data, the calculated T value was 7.313, and the associated sig value was 0.000<0.05. So, it was safe to say that students who used youtube media had a marked increase in their command of the English language. Future studies should focus more on how students use new media and technology in English classroom materials. Keywords: Youtube Media; Students’ Vocabulary Mastery

The aims of this research is to help students become more confident public speakers. The research approach is an experiment using a posttest-only control group design. Thirty undergraduates served as the study's sample, which was split evenly between two groups. Using a t-test with a significance threshold of = 0.05, the researchers calculated (n1+ n2-2) = 28 and got a result of 1.701, while the tcount value from the test was 2.355. If tcount > ttable, then Ho is ruled out. It follows that the group using the contextual teaching and learning model had a greater impact (= 73.00 and s = 8.194) than the group using the traditional approach (= 76.67 and s = 9.194) on students' gains in fluency in speech. The study's findings suggest that, in comparison to the flipped classroom approach, the contextual teaching and learning model is more effective at fostering students' growth in their oral communication skills.

A 2x2 factorial design is used in research. Data on learning outcomes were gathered through pre- and post-testing activities. There were 280 students in the class of X MA Negeri 1 Serang, and a random sample of 80 students were chosen to participate in the study. Experiment and control groups were significantly different at the posttest, according to the results of this study. For the FO, the value is 5.225, whereas for the Significance, the number ranges from 0.025 < 0.05. This shows that the null hypothesis has been rejected and the research hypothesis has been validated. For students' capacity to communicate effectively in English, this suggests a distinction between the effects of playing Chinese whisper games and learning vocabulary
