Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the tourism policy development strategy in Rejang Lebong Regency by identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, namely SWOT analysis so that it can produce a tourism policy development strategy using 4 components of tourism development, namely attraction, amenities, accessibility, and ancillary service. The method used is a literature review from various sources related to the tourism policy development strategy in previous studies, government reports and the mass media. The results of this study found that the tourism policy strategy in Rejang Lebong Regency is still not optimal. This is evidenced by the many tourist attractions that are not equipped with supporting facilities and infrastructure, such as toilets, parking lots, and other public facilities.

Abstract

qualitative descriptive and literature study, secondary data analysis, and a review of the implementation of Jambi Provincial Regulation Number 2 of 2016. The results show that the collaboration aspect has been realized through multi-stakeholder synergy, although there are still weaknesses in the role of the private sector in control. Flexibility is reflected in the adaptation of local government strategies, the involvement of Manggala Agni, and the regulation of Perda Number 2 of 2016 which provides room for policy adjustments. Meanwhile, the learning aspect still faces obstacles because previous fire experiences have not been fully integrated into sustainable policies. This is evident in the increasing number of hotspots in 2025 even though the regulation has been implemented. Thus, adaptive governance in Muaro Jambi Regency still needs to be strengthened, particularly in optimizing institutional learning mechanisms to be able to respond to the dynamics of forest and land fire risks more effectively. It is recommended to strengthen evaluation, actively involve the private sector, increase community capacity, utilize real-time data, and conduct regular evaluations in the implementation of Regional Regulation No. 2 of 2016 to support more adaptive and sustainable forest and land fire prevention and control governance.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Paku, Kecamatan Kayuagung, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir, dengan fokus pada pendampingan produksi dan pemasaran digital produk Bolu Cupu. Program ini berangkat dari permasalahan yang dihadapi Industri Rumah Tangga (IRT) Bolu Cupu “Hikmah”, yaitu keterbatasan peralatan produksi, kendala dalam pengadaan bahan baku, serta lemahnya strategi pemasaran dan desain kemasan. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, tim pengabdian menerapkan pendekatan partisipatif yang melibatkan mitra secara aktif dalam setiap tahapan kegiatan. Kegiatan utama meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan teknologi produksi, pelatihan pemasaran digital, pendampingan, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kapasitas produksi maupun strategi pemasaran. Penerapan teknologi tepat guna berupa mixer dan oven tambahan mampu meningkatkan kualitas serta konsistensi produk, sehingga kapasitas produksi naik dari 1.000 menjadi 1.300 unit per hari. Selain itu, pengenalan kemasan baru membuat produk lebih higienis, menarik, dan memiliki nilai jual lebih tinggi. Pada aspek pemasaran, pelatihan digital marketing melalui pemanfaatan media sosial dan marketplace memperluas jangkauan promosi, meskipun masih diperlukan pendampingan lanjutan agar mitra terbiasa membuat konten promosi yang menarik. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan, pengetahuan, dan kemandirian mitra dalam mengelola usaha. Pemberdayaan melalui peningkatan produksi dan strategi pemasaran digital terbukti memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan pendapatan dan memperkuat daya saing produk lokal. Program ini diharapkan berkelanjutan serta menjadi model pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis potensi lokal yang dapat direplikasi di wilayah lain.
