Abstract

This study aims to determine the tax revenue from the Land and Building Acquisition Fee (BPHTB) and its contribution to increasing Regional Original Income (PAD) in Situbondo Regency from 2022 to 2024. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that the contribution of BPHTB to PAD in Situbondo Regency has declined over the years. In 2022, it contributed 29.19%, decreasing to 26.06% in 2023, and further to 24.31% in 2024. This downward trend indicates the need for more adaptive fiscal policy strategies to optimize BPHTB revenue as a regional income source. Theoretically, this study provides important implications for the field of education, particularly in economics and public policy education. It offers a real-world understanding of the significance of local tax optimization in regional development. Additionally, the findings can serve as learning material in public economics or regional financial management courses, helping students understand the role of taxation in supporting sustainable regional growth.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) producing fish crackers in Pesisir Village, Besuki District, face several challenges, particularly limited access to computer technology and digital marketing skills. Despite having strong local potential, these MSMEs struggle to promote their products effectively and expand their market reach. This community service program aims to provide assistance based on local potential to enhance the competitiveness of these businesses sustainably. The activities include training in digital marketing strategies, mentoring in the creation of promotional content such as short video reels and digital posters, and facilitating the development of sales networks in regions where the PKM team members reside. The solutions offered are practical and tailored to meet the real needs of MSMEs in improving promotion and efficiency. Preliminary results show an increase in participants’ ability to produce marketing content and the identification of potential distribution partners in several areas. Through a local-potential-based approach and digital technology support, this program is expected to improve the competitiveness, market reach, and ultimately the income of fish cracker MSMEs in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the meaning of Cash On Delivery (COD) payment for economics students at Universitas Nurul Jadid (UNUJA) as consumers on the Shopee e-commerce platform. With the advancement of digital technology, e-commerce has become a primary alternative for shopping, with Shopee being one of the most popular platforms in Indonesia. One of the payment methods frequently chosen by consumers, especially students, is COD, which allows payment to be made after the goods are received. This method provides a sense of security and reduces concerns about fraud, thus increasing purchase interest among students. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method to explore the factors influencing the choice of COD payment method and how it impacts student consumption behavior. The findings show that COD offers convenience, flexibility, and a sense of security for students who have limited access to digital payment methods. Additionally, COD plays a role in improving students' financial literacy and strengthening the social relationship between consumers and e-commerce platforms through interaction with couriers. This study identifies various factors influencing students' decisions to choose COD, as well as its implications for e-commerce platform strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
