Abstract

Epilepsi adalah gangguan neurologis kronis yang ditandai dengan kejang berulang yang disebabkan oleh aktivitas listrik abnormal di otak. Perawatan epilepsi biasanya memerlukan penggunaan OAE (obat antiepilepsi) untuk waktu yang lama, baik secara monoterapi maupun dalam kombinasi. Penggunaan OAE bersama dengan obat lain dapat meningkatkan risiko interaksi obat, yang dapat memengaruhi efektivitas terapi dan keamanan pasien. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis potensi interaksi obat pada pasien epilepsi rawat jalan di RSUD Dr. Slamet Garut selama periode Juli hingga Desember 2024. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan retrospektif catatan medis. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah total sampling. Interaksi obat diidentifikasi menggunakan aplikasi Drug Interaction Checker seperti Medscape dan Drugs.com, dibantu dengan literatur tertulis seperti artikel-artikel terkait. Hasil identifikasi interaksi kemudian diklasifikasikan berdasarkan jenis interaksi dan tingkat keparahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebanyak 147 pasien epilepsi rawat jalan di RSUD dr. Slamet Garut mengalami potensi interaksi obat (66%). Potensi interaksi yang paling umum teridentifikasi adalah jenis interaksi farmakokinetik (81,4%) dan tingkat keparahan moderat (62,8%). Fenitoin dengan omeprazol, amlodipin, dan asam asetilsalisilat serta asam valproat dengan levetiracetam adalah beberapa obat yang paling sering berinteraksi satu sama lain.

Abstract

AbstrakRendahnya tingkat pemahaman siswa sekolah menengah pertama mengenai gizi seimbang menjadi salah satu tantangan dalam membentuk kebiasaan makan sehat dan gaya hidup yang berkelanjutan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi gizi serta kesadaran siswa SMP Muhammadiyah Garut terhadap pentingnya pemenuhan asupan bergizi melalui kegiatan edukasi gizi berbasis penyuluhan dan literasi aktif. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah survei dengan desain pra dan pascapenyuluhan menggunakan kuesioner berisi 15 pertanyaan yang mencakup 3 aspek utama, yaitu pengetahuan zat gizi makro dan mikro, pola makan sehat, serta faktor risiko masalah gizi. Kegiatan edukasi dilakukan secara interaktif melalui penyuluhan, diskusi tanya jawab, serta pembagian media informasi berupa flayer gizi seimbang. Sebanyak 14 siswa, terdiri atas 8 laki-laki dan 6 perempuan, berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan  peningkatan pengetahuan siswa sebesar 68,58% mengenai literasi gizi dimana sebelum penyuluhan sebesar 62,84%, Sebagian besar peserta juga memahami bahwa karbohidrat merupakan sumber energi utama bagi tubuh. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, kegiatan edukasi gizi terbukti efektif dalam memperkuat literasi gizi dan mendorong siswa untuk menerapkan perilaku hidup sehat. Dengan demikian, edukasi gizi yang telah dilakukan terbukti efektif dalam memperkuat literasi gizi siswa SMP Muhammadiyah Garut. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa program edukasi gizi dapat memperkuat pengetahuan dan kesadaran siswa tentang pentingnya gizi seimbang, sehingga mendorong perubahan perilaku menuju gaya hidup yang lebih sehat dan berkelanjutan. Kata kunci: literasi gizi; edukasi gizi; siswa SMP; pola makan sehat; pengetahuan gizi. Abstract The low level of understanding of junior high school students regarding balanced nutrition is one of the challenges in forming healthy eating habits and a sustainable lifestyle. This community service activity aims to improve nutritional literacy and awareness of Muhammadiyah Garut Junior High School students regarding the importance of fulfilling nutritious intake through nutrition education activities based on counseling and active literacy. The method used in this community service activity is a survey with a pre- and post-counseling design using a questionnaire containing 15 questions covering 3 main aspects, namely knowledge of macro and micro nutrients, healthy eating patterns, and risk factors for nutritional problems. Educational activities are carried out interactively through counseling, question and answer discussions, and distribution of information media in the form of balanced nutrition flyers. A total of 14 students, consisting of 8 boys and 6 girls, participated in this study. The evaluation results showed an increase in student knowledge of 68.58% regarding nutritional literacy compared to 62.84% before the counseling. Most participants also understand that carbohydrates are the main source of energy for the body. Based on these results, nutrition education activities have proven effective in strengthening nutritional literacy and encouraging students to adopt healthy lifestyle behaviors. Thus, the nutrition education program has proven effective in strengthening the nutritional literacy of students at Muhammadiyah Garut Middle School. These results indicate that the nutrition education program can strengthen students' knowledge and awareness of the importance of balanced nutrition, thereby encouraging behavioral changes toward a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle. Keywords: nutrition literacy; nutrition education; junior high school students; healthy diet; nutrition knowledge.

Abstract

The role of pharmacists in community pharmacies is evolving from product-oriented to pharmaceutical care. However, the success of this role expansion is greatly influenced by public perception, expectations, and trust in pharmacists. Objective: This literature review aims to examine public perception of the role of pharmacists in pharmacies and summarize the factors that influence it as a basis for strengthening the quality of pharmaceutical services. Method: The study used a literature review design. Articles were searched through PubMed, ScienceDirect, MDPI, and Google Scholar using keywords related to public/patient perceptions of the role of pharmacists in pharmacies. Articles were screened based on inclusion-exclusion criteria, duplicates were removed, then data extraction (author/year, location, design, sample, instrument, findings) and thematic narrative synthesis were performed. Results: In general, public perception of the role of pharmacists tends to be quite good, especially in prescribing services and providing drug information. However, understanding of the clinical role of pharmacists (comprehensive counseling and therapy monitoring) is still not optimal, so that the role of pharmacists is often perceived as limited to drug dispensing. Cross-country studies show that public perception is generally positive towards pharmacist competence, but the level of public trust in pharmacists as drug therapy consultants is relatively lower than that of doctors. Educational factors, interaction experience, and communication quality influence perception and trust. Conclusion: Public perception of pharmacists in pharmacies is relatively good, but traditional roles are still dominant. Strengthening the clinical role requires more consistent counseling, pharmacist visibility in service areas, and public education on the benefits of comprehensive pharmaceutical services. Keywords: public perception; pharmacist; community pharmacy; pharmaceutical services; pharmaceutical care.
