Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of administrative theories in the management of education at SDN 4 Depok. The study responds to the challenges of applying educational administration practices in elementary schools that are often still traditional and formalistic, and have not fully adapted to modern administrative theories. Using a qualitative approach with a single case study method, the research explores planning, organizing, executing, and supervising activities in the school’s management, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors. The findings indicate that SDN 4 Depok has begun integrating modern administrative principles, such as participatory planning and initial use of technology, though the practices are still dominated by classical bureaucratic approaches with weaknesses in data-based evaluation, equitable task distribution, and systematic feedback. The study confirms that the school is in transition toward modern, collaborative, and data-oriented management. These findings are expected to contribute theoretically to the development of educational administration literature and practically as recommendations for improving the managerial capacity of elementary schools. Keywords: educational administration, classical theory, modern theory, school management, case study

Abstract

This study explores the strategic planning model implemented at SMPN Satu Atap Pasirmunjul to prevent gadget addiction among junior high school students. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with case study methods, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The research found that the Digital Sehat Program was designed collaboratively between school leaders, teachers, students, and parents. The program includes vision formulation, team structuring, SOP development, student digital ambassadors, educational activities, counseling services, and extracurricular engagement. The strategic planning process is responsive to the local context and prioritizes preventive, educational, and character-building approaches. Although the evaluation system remains basic, the program demonstrates potential for sustainability and replication. The school succeeded in fostering a digital culture that promotes balanced and responsible gadget use among students. Abstract

The paradigm shift in school accreditation through the IASP 2024 instrument requires education units to focus not on administrative completeness alone, but on proof of performance and quality culture. The current challenge is that there are still many schools that only focus on the completeness of documents. It requires a leadership style of a school principal who is able to mobilize the full potential of school residents. This research aims to explore participatory leadership in realizing schools with superior accreditation status. This research uses a qualitative paradigm with a case study approach. The data collection method is through observation methods, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. Samples are selected based on Purposive Sampling. In this case, the respondent/sample taken is the Principal chosen because as the manager and chairman of the KKKS, teachers are selected based on their level of education and class rank. Data analysis used the interactive model Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, and validated through triangulation of sources and techniques. The findings of the study show that (1) Planning is carried out in an inclusive manner by involving teachers, committees, parents, and the village government in the preparation of school programs; (2) This program is carried out through the empowerment and delegation of authority of the accreditation team according to the teacher's competence, so as to build a sense of ownership of the program. (3) Evaluation is characterized by open two-way communication and accountable administrative order and follow-up leads to continuous improvement that has an impact on the achievement of quality standards. It was concluded that participatory leadership at SDN Cijaya was effective following the theoretical foundation.

Abstract

his study aims to describe and analyze the effectiveness of coding and Artificial Intelligence learning in improving the digital skills of grade 5 students at SDN 2 Cikumpay, Purwakarta Regency. This research is motivated by the competency demands of the Industry 4.0 and 5.0 era, as well as the initial findings that students' digital skills are still diverse and not optimal. The method used in this study is qualitative with the type of case study. Data collection techniques include participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies, which are then analyzed using the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) quality management cycle. The results of the study show that: (1) At the Plan stage, schools procure infrastructure and prepare unplugged and plugged-based adaptive teaching modules; (2) At the Do level, learning is carried out interactively (student-centered) using the Scratch and Google Gemini  platforms to train digital logic and ethics; (3) At the Check stage, it was recorded that most of the 5th grade students were proficient in operating software, understanding algorithm logic, and having digital security awareness; and (4) At the Act stage, follow-up will be carried out in the form of organizing a "Digital Work Exhibition" and the appointment of students as School Digital Ambassadors. This study concludes that the integration of KKA in a structured and effective manner can improve students' digital skills, especially in the computational thinking skills of grade 5 elementary school students.
