Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of Work Safety and Health on the Performance of Production Section Employees either Simultaneously or Partially where the Takalar Sugar Factory PT. Nusantara Plantation XIV (Persero) became the object of his research. This research uses quantitative research. Data collection techniques used are primary data collection (observation, interviews and questionnaires) and secondary data collection (library review and documentation). The sample used is the sample formulated by Slovin as many as 70 respondents. The data obtained from the research results were processed using data analysis and using the help of the SPSS version 25 software program which consisted of validity tests, reliability tests on research instruments as well as descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis of the data that had been obtained. The results showed that the indicators used for each variable indicated that the occupational safety and health variables had a significant effect on the Performance of Production Section Employees at the Takalar Sugar Factory PT. Nusantara Plantation XIV (Persero). This is evidenced by the Correlation Test and the t-test and F-test and the Coefficient of Determination Test on the data that has been obtained.

Abstract

Administrasi publik merupakan disiplin ilmu yang terus mengalami perkembangan seiring dengan perubahan sosial, politik, dan teknologi. Perubahan tersebut tercermin dalam evolusi paradigma yang mendasari praktik dan pemikiran administrasi publik. Paradigma Weberian menekankan rasionalitas, hierarki, dan kepatuhan aturan. Pada 1980-an, New Public Management menonjolkan efisiensi dan prinsip manajerial swasta. Selanjutnya, New Public Service berfokus pada demokrasi, etika, partisipasi, dan keadilan pelayanan publik. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menelusuri evolusi ketiga paradigma tersebut melalui pendekatan filsafat ilmu, mencakup aspek ontology, epistemology, dan aksiologi. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi komparatif kualitatif, dengan memanfaatkan sumber-sumber literatur sekunder seperti artikel ilmiah, buku, dan penelitian terdahulu. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pergeseran paradigma dari Weberian ke NPM, dan kemudian ke NPS, tidak hanya merefleksikan perubahan dalam cara mengelola birokrasi, tetapi juga menunjukkan pergeseran dalam nilai-nilai dasar administrasi publik dari orientasi pada efisiensi menuju orientasi pada etika, kolaborasi, dan pelayanan bagi warga negara

Abstract

One of the missions and objectives of establishing an ideal government bureaucracy it to provide good public services to the community, particularly optimal service quality for persons with disabilities. To assess the extent to which the measures/benchmarks of service quality success can be examined from the criteria of the dimensions of public service quality. This study aims to determine the extent to which the quality of public service provided is able to meet the needs of persons with disabilities at the Makassar City Government. This type of research uses a qualitative approach tiwh a case study strategy and both primary and secondary data sources. Data collection is based on observations from the study, and data analysis uses an interactive method that includes data presentation, data condensation, and drawing conclusions. Research results indicate that the quality of public services for people with disabilities at the Makassar City Government specifically sosial service is overall not yet optimal in meeting the needs of people with disabilities and still needs improvement. Based on the service quality dimension indicators, namely: Tangible (physical evidence); Reliability; and Responsiviness, they still need to be enhanced because they are not yet optimal due to limited facilities and infrastructure, lack of employee awareness, and insufficient attention to fulfilling the needs of people with disabilities. Meanwhile, Assurance and Empathy are already categorized as good and adequate thanks to the guidance and quick response from rehabilitation officers. However, comprehensive and continuous improvement is still necessary
