Abstract

This research is motivated by problems with room facilities and price perceptions at the Grand Tjokro Hotel Jakarta which can affect guest satisfaction. This research aims to analyze the effect of room facilities and price perceptions on guest satisfaction staying at the Grand Tjokro Hotel Jakarta. This research uses a quantitative method with an associative approach in the form of a causal relationship using a survey method to determine the effect of room facilities and price perceptions on guest satisfaction. This research data was achieved through the use of research instruments in the form of questionnaires given to 103 respondents. The analysis of this research hypothesis uses multiple linear regression tests with the help of SPSS version 25.00. The results showed that room facilities (X1) had a positive and significant effect on guest satisfaction (Y). Likewise, price perceptions (X2) have a positive and significant effect on guest satisfaction (Y). This shows that the variable room facilities (X1) and price perceptions (X2) together have a significant effect on the guest satisfaction variable (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of librarian strategies in enhancing students’ reading habits at SD Negeri 33 Banda Aceh. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of one librarian and twelve students selected through purposive sampling. The findings reveal that the librarian implemented various strategies, including routine library visits, provision of updated book collections, creation of a conducive reading environment, a 15-minute literacy program, a mobile reading cart, and classroom reading corners. Students generally responded positively to these strategies, although some expressed the need for more engaging book selections. The primary challenge identified was the limited number of library staff, which affected program consistency and book variety. Overall, the strategies demonstrated a positive impact, though further support and development are necessary to optimize their effectiveness.

Abstract

The lack of teaching modules designed to develop critical thinking skills has become a major obstacle to improving education quality in Indonesia. This study aims to produce a sound wave teaching module using the STEM-PBL approach, which will be assessed in terms of its validity and practicality. This development study uses the ADDIE model involving 32 eleventh-grade students of class XI 2 at SMAN 4 Banjarmasin as trial subjects. Data were collected through teaching module validation sheets and module implementation observation sheets. Data were analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively in a descriptive manner. Quantitative data were analyzed using average scores and then described qualitatively based on established categorization criteria. Expert and practitioner validation yielded average validity and reliability scores of 3.69 and 0.98, categorized as very valid and highly reliable. Additionally, observations of module implementation classified it as very practical. Therefore, the developed STEM-PBL module is considered feasible for physics learning.
