Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode inside-outside circle terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa kelas XI SMA Hang Tuah Makassar. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Hang Tuah Makassar, dengan pengambilan sampel secara random. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA 1 yang berjumlah 29 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI MIPA 2 yang berjumlah 26 orang sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan berpikir kritis yakni post-test berupa 5 soal esai yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial dengan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas sebagai uji prasyarat analisis dan uji t sampel independen sebagai uji hipotesis. Hasil analisis berdasarkan uji t sampel independen, diperoleh nilai 0,005 < ½α (0,005 < 0,025) dengan nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu (2,909 > 1,674) yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan dari kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan metode inside-outside circle terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa kelas XI SMA Hang Tuah Makassar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how teachers at SMA Hang Tuah Makassar build an understanding of the implementation of the independent curriculum through the independent teaching application. The design of this study is explorative, namely exploring and describing in-depth information about a phenomenon. The results of the study refer to the test of understanding the implementation of the free curriculum showing that subjects A and C are in the very good category while subject B is in the good category, this is because subject B, although he has completed independent training, is no longer studied regularly, while subject D has not fully completed independent training on the independent teaching app. The results of the research referring to the results of learning observations and the completeness of learning tools show that subjects A, B, and C carry out all the stages/steps of learning contained in the learning module even though there are some that are mixed up due to the situation and condition of the students and the learning process has been set for students and the teacher as a facilitator and fun learning. While subject D has not shown the learning that is learned by students, the active participation of teachers and students still looks the same and has not functioned as a facilitator as a whole and there are several learning steps that have not been carried out such as giving trigger questions and reflections that are not appropriate. The results of the interviews showed that subjects A and C completed periodic self-training, then subject B completed independent training in a short period of time and after that was no longer studied regularly. While subject D has not completed independent training and also has not studied it regularly.

Abstract

This experimental research aims to assess the impact of the Model-Eliciting Activity (MEAs) learning approach on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of class XI students at MA DDI Alliritengae. Utilizing a quasi-experimental method with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design, the study involved pre-test and post-test evaluations of both control and experimental groups. Simple Random Sampling was employed for sample selection. The research revealed that, initially, students in both groups exhibited low mathematical problem-solving abilities. Post-test results indicated that while the control group showed only minor improvements, remaining mostly at low or medium criteria, the experimental group demonstrated significant improvements, with most indicators reaching a high category. Hypothesis testing yielded a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000, indicating a significant effect of the MEAs approach on students' mathematical problem-solving skills. Thus, the study concludes that the MEAs approach effectively enhances mathematical problem-solving abilities, outperforming traditional lecture methods

Abstract

This study employed a quasi-experimental research design to examine the effect of the MURDER learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of Grade X students at SMA DDI Maros. The population of this study consisted of all Grade X students at SMA DDI Maros. The sample was selected using a random class sampling technique, resulting in two classes: an experimental class and a control class. The research instruments consisted of a validated multiple-choice mathematics achievement test and an observation sheet used to measure the implementation of the learning model. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results indicated that the average mathematics learning outcomes of students in the experimental class were higher than those of students in the control class. The average posttest score of the experimental class was 84.03, with a standard deviation of 3.54, while the average posttest score of the control class was 69.40, with a standard deviation of 1.96. Based on the results of the t-test, the calculated t-value was greater than the critical t-table value, and the significance value was lower than the 0.05 significance level. Therefore, the null hypothesis was rejected. Furthermore, the average percentage of learning implementation reached 89.84%, which was categorized as very good. These findings indicate that the MURDER learning model can be implemented consistently and effectively in the mathematics learning process.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan yang menuntut guru tidak hanya memiliki kompetensi pedagogis dan profesional, tetapi juga karakter yang kuat sebagai teladan bagi peserta didik. Di sisi lain, arus digitalisasi yang semakin pesat berpotensi menggeser nilai-nilai budaya lokal yang selama ini menjadi fondasi pembentukan karakter. Salah satu kearifan lokal yang relevan untuk memperkuat karakter pendidik adalah nilai Siri' na Pacce yang mengandung makna harga diri, integritas, tanggung jawab, solidaritas, dan kepedulian sosial. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya penguatan karakter dan profesionalisme guru melalui integrasi nilai-nilai budaya lokal yang selaras dengan perkembangan era digital. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman kepada peserta mengenai pentingnya integrasi nilai Siri' na Pacce dalam membentuk karakter dan profesionalisme guru di era digital. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui seminar yang mencakup penyampaian materi, diskusi interaktif, dan sesi refleksi yang melibatkan peserta secara aktif. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 46 peserta yang terdiri atas 35 mahasiswa calon guru dan 11 dosen FKIP Universitas Muslim Maros. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan melalui diskusi, refleksi, dan observasi selama pelaksanaan seminar. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusiasme peserta yang tinggi serta kemampuan mengidentifikasi keterkaitan antara nilai Siri' na Pacce dengan integritas, tanggung jawab profesional, dan kepedulian sosial dalam praktik pendidikan. Selain itu, peserta memahami pentingnya mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai budaya lokal dalam proses pembelajaran sebagai upaya membangun karakter pendidik yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi tanpa kehilangan identitas budaya. Seminar ini menjadi sarana edukatif dan reflektif dalam memperkenalkan pentingnya integrasi nilai Siri' na Pacce sebagai landasan penguatan karakter dan profesionalisme guru di era digital.
