Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional, tingkat pendidikan dan karakteristik pekerjaan terhadap kepuasan kerja untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Penelitian dilakukan pada perusahaan jasa konsultan konstruksi di Batam dengan jumlah responden seratus delapan belas. Data tentang variabel-variabel tersebut dikumpulkan dengan penyebaran kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan analisis jalur. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak semua hipotesis yang disebutkan dan dibangun sebelumnya dapat diterima. Dari 10 (sepuluh) hipotesis, terdapat 4 (empat) hipotesis yang diterima atau diterima. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh langsung kecerdasan emosional terhadap kepuasan kerja adalah signifikan, pengaruh langsung karakteristik pekerjaan terhadap kepuasan kerja adalah signifikan, pengaruh langsung kepuasan kerja terhadap prestasi kerja adalah signifikan, dan pengaruh langsung tingkat pendidikan terhadap prestasi kerja signifikan. Namun hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan pengaruh langsung tingkat pendidikan terhadap kepuasan kerja tetapi tidak signifikan, pengaruh langsung kecerdasan emosional terhadap prestasi kerja tetapi tidak signifikan, pengaruh langsung karakteristik pekerjaan terhadap prestasi kerja tetapi tidak signifikan, dan terdapat hubungan tidak langsung antara kecerdasan emosional terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja tetapi tidak signifikan. Ada hubungan tidak langsung antara tingkat pendidikan dengan prestasi kerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja tetapi tidak signifikan, terdapat hubungan tidak langsung antara karakteristik pekerjaan dengan prestasi kerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja tetapi tidak signifikan.

Abstract

Perkembangan populasi diindonesia cukup pesat, dimana tingkat pembangunan terus dituntut untuk bisa menghadapai berbagai permasalahan terutama untuk perkembangan pembangunan pada daerah pesisir kepulauan yang cukup sulit dalam pengadaan material. Banyak cara digunakan agar mempercepat pembangunan ini salah satunya menggunakan sumber daya alam yang ada disekitarnya, salah satunya adalah penggunaan limbah terumbu karang, dimana banyak dijumpai pada daerah kepulauan terpencil seperti di kepulauan anambas, terumbu karang memiliki fisik yang sangat cocok dipakai sebagai agregat kasar pada campuran komposit beton. Untuk itu peneliti melakukan penelitian dan menganalisa kekuatan beton dengan menggunakan material terumbu karang tersebut. Material terumbu karang yang digunakan adalah material terumbu karang mati yang terdampar di sekitar kepulauan Kabupaten Kepulauan Anambas, sebagai pengganti agregat kasar (kerikil). Terumbu karang akan di pecah sehingga memiliki ukuran + 20 mm, sesuai dengan ukuran agregat kasar (kerikil) pada umumnya. Untuk uji kuat tekan beton, benda uji akan dibuat dalam kubus yang berukuran 150 mm x 150 mm x 150 mm (SNI 03-2834-2000) yang dites pada hari ke 7, 14, 21 dan 28 hari.Setelah melakukan penelitian dan benda uji sampai pada usia 28 hari, hasil penelitian penggunaan terumbu arang sebagai agregat kasar menurunkan kuat tekan beton sebesar 62,34% (11.3Mpa) dibanding dengan beton yang menggunakan agregat kerikil.

Abstract

Planning for high-rise buildings with the risk of seismicity can be calculated by several methods. Among them are the Moment Bearer Frame System (SRPM) and Structural Wall System (SDS) methods. Indonesia is a country with a high level of seismic activity, one of which is the city of Batam (earthquake zone 1), so the building structure must be planned to be resistant to earthquakes which have been regulated in SNI 03-1726-2012 and SNI 03-2847-2013. Therefore, this final project discusses the optimization of earthquake load-bearing structural systems (lateral, stiffness, structural resistance in 12 floors hotel building. The design of the building structure uses the 2013 ETABS auxiliary program by adjusting the parameters of the strength of the material used. Quality of concrete (f'c = 30MPa) & the quality of reinforcing steel (fy = 400MPa) and gravity loading and earthquake loading of the building structure The upper main portal structure of the building is designed with the concept of capacity, namely strong column weak beam (SCWB), the occurrence of plastic joints at the ends of the beam, column feet and wall legs structural analysis, which is then analyzed the dimensions and pengesiannya due to gravity loads, equivalent static earthquakes and dynamic earthquakes of various response spectrum.From the structural design analysis, the results show that the stiffness, strength and resistance of multiple systems with smaller dimensions and the reinforcement of the structural components of the main portal meet the performance requirements of the structure boundary In the bearer frame system moments can be used where the earthquake load is 100% held at the moment frame, so the size of the beam and column frames will be smaller.

The sample in this study were students of the 2018 Batam University Bachelor of Medicine study program with a total of 80 samples. And brought to the optician to fill out a questionnaire and an eye examination to see the incidence of myopia. The analytical test used is the chi square test. Results :The test results show that there is a significant relationship between the intensity of playing video games with the incidence of myopia in undergraduate medical students at the University of Batam Batch 2018. From the Chi Square results, a p-value of 0.000 is obtained, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Abstract

Changes in people's lifestyles have led to an increasing demand for a comfortable residential environment. This includes the availability of open space that is able to become a space for interaction between residents in a residential environment. In line with that, the need for green open space is also felt necessary to create a more natural and healthy living environment. In the residential environment of RT.003 / RW.034 Kel.Belian, the availability of open space or public facilities (fasum) has not been managed in an integrated manner. Each fasum area is only in the form of empty land, pavilion area or field that does not have a clear allocation of use so that it cannot provide maximum benefits for the residents of the housing complex. Mentoring activities are carried out in formulating the management of public facilities so that they can function as community interaction spaces and green open spaces. The mentoring method is carried out by means of interviews, discussions, observations and social participation (Participatory Action Research/PAR) in which the proposer is part of the action, does not separate himself and melts into the situation of the community being assisted and works with residents in carrying out formulating the management of existing fasum land. This aims to empower the potential of the community and maintain the character of mutual cooperation between residents. As a result of the mentoring process, a new fasum management was formulated in which one fasum was designated as a green open space, one fasum that already had a pavilion was rejuvenated and built sports facilities and one fasum was used as a jogging track area and children's playground.

Abstract

The Riau Archipelago, which consists of islands, has its own challenges in terms of infrastructure and transportation development, so that the development and growth of each region is not the same, namely with five regencies and two municipalities. The Riau Archipelago has high potential in its tourism sector because each island has its own beauty and exoticism. Tanjungpinang City as the Capital of the Province in the past decade has begun to develop and organize itself to be better in regional order but not yet in its transportation system. Public transportation has not been felt as a very important thing because people can still walk freely by using their private vehicles. Public transportation is still not a matter of urgency in the next decade. This research is a descriptive research, descriptive research is a type of research whose purpose is to present a complete picture of a social setting or is intended to explore and clarify a phenomenon or social reality, by describing a number of variables related to the problem and units studied among the phenomena being tested. Here it will be explained based on a study of the factual conditions of transportation in Tanjungpinang City and their relevance in the next decade.

Abstract

The government has an important role in providing public services for its people. Every public service provider must have service standards. One form of standard public service is the service of developing facilities and infrastructure. Facilities and infrastructure development services can be divided into nine elements, namely service procedures, suitability of proposals, timeliness, complaint handling, implementing competence, provider competence, development quantity, development quality and development results. The research was conducted in Tanjung Piayu Village, Batam City by direct observation and filling out a questionnaire regarding community perceptions regarding facilities and infrastructure development services. Type of descriptive qualitative research. This study uses minimum service standards (SPM) and index analysis. The research sample was 80 respondents. The results of the research show that the facilities and infrastructure development services owned by respondents are considered to be in good condition, with a service unit IKM of 76.90. However, there is a mismatch between the results of the assessment and real conditions, there are three elements of services for the construction of facilities and infrastructure that are in poor condition, namely timeliness, service procedures, and construction quantity. So, There is a need for re-management of existing facilities and infrastructure development services in order to further improve the quality of public services provided.

Abstract

Batu bara merupakan limbah yang banyak diproduksi oleh perusahaan listrik berbahan batu bara. Salah satu limbah batu bara yaitu Coal Bottom Ash (CBA). Jumlah limbah ini yang terus meningkat mengakibatkan gangguan pada lingkungan sekitarnya. Pengguanaan limbah CBA pada campuran beton dapat menekan jumlah limbah yang ada. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan CBA sebagai bahan subtitusi pada material pasir dalam campuran beton. Adapun jumlah campuran CBA yang digunakan dengan proporsi penggantian pasir dengan CBA sebesar 30% dan 60%. Penggunaan CBA dalam campuran beton menunjukkan setelah perendaman 56 hari beton yang mengandung CBA 60% memiliki kekuatan tekan lebih tinggi dibandingkan beton tanpa CBA, yaitu sebesar 3,7%. Untuk menganalisa pengaruh CBA pada campuran beton terhadap lingkungan digunakan metode SPLP (Synthetic Precipitation Leaching Procedure). Metode ini akan menganalisa kandungan logam berat pada beton yang mengandung CBA dan beton normal. Dengan menambah persentasi CBA pada beton menunjukkan dapat mengurangi kandungan Cr (Chromium) dan Zn (Zinc) sedangkan sebaliknya pada kandungan logam berat As (Arsenic), Pb (Lead) dan Cd (Cadmium) terjadi peningkatan seiring dengan penambahan kadar CBA pada beton. Abstract

Banyak penelitian yang telah menggunakan serat baja dalam campuran beton normal dan telah dilakukan dalam beberapa negara bagian di dunia. Namun, dikarenakan harga serat kawat baja itu sangat mahal di Indonesia, maka penggunaan serat  ijuk untuk menggantikan serat baja itu dalam campuran beton diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Serat ijuk ini berdiameter 0,5 mm-1,5 mm dipotong dengan panjang 30 mm-60 mm dan digunakan dalam campuran beton sebagai tulangan mikro beton yang diprediksi mampu meningkatkan kuat tekan dan kuat lentur beton. Jumlah serat ijuk yang digunakan bervariasi  0%, 1%, dan 1,5% dikalikan volume beton dengan target kuat tekan fc’ 30 MPa.       Untuk uji kuat tekan beton, benda uji akan dibuat dalam kubus yang berukuran 150 mm x 150 mm x 150 mm (SNI 03-2834-2000) yang dites pada hari ke 7, 14, 21 dan 28 hari serta uji kuat lentur dengan benda uji berbentuk balok yang berukuran 150 mm x 150 mm x 600 mm (Standar SNI 4431: 2011) yang akan di tes pada hari ke 28 agar diperoleh nilai kuat lentur yang maksimal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan serat ijuk dalam campuran beton menurunkan  kuat tekan beton sebesar 25,23% pada komposisi 1% serat ijuk dibandingkan dengan beton berkomposisi 0% serat ijuk dan meningkatkan kuat lentur sebesar 10,67% pada komposisi 1% serat ijuk dibandingkan dengan beton berkomposisi 0% serat ijuk (beton normal) dan juga penggunaan serat ijuk  menurunkan kelecakan nilai slump beton.
