Abstract

Kegiatan peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai tata cara tajhizul mayyit di Desa Purba Julu, Kecamatan Puncak Sorik Merapi, bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan praktis dalam pengurusan jenazah sesuai tuntunan Islam. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui penyuluhan, diskusi interaktif, dan praktik langsung sehingga masyarakat tidak hanya memahami teori tetapi juga mampu menerapkannya secara nyata. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dari berbagai kalangan masyarakat, termasuk pemuda, orang dewasa, dan tokoh masyarakat, yang aktif mengikuti seluruh tahapan program. Melalui praktik simulasi, peserta belajar memandikan, mengkafani, menyalatkan, hingga menguburkan jenazah, dan meskipun awalnya beberapa peserta merasa ragu, bimbingan langsung dan dukungan kelompok membuat mereka lebih percaya diri dan terampil. Selain peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan, kegiatan ini juga memperkuat kebersamaan, gotong royong, serta kepedulian sosial di antara masyarakat, sehingga tercipta lingkungan yang lebih harmonis dan religius. Secara keseluruhan, program ini berhasil mencapai tujuan utamanya dengan meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat Desa Purba Julu dalam tata cara tajhizul mayyit, membangun kemandirian, kesadaran sosial-keagamaan, dan menyiapkan masyarakat untuk melaksanakan kewajiban fardu kifayah dengan benar sekaligus menularkan ilmu ini kepada generasi berikutnya.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of learning and classroom management strategies by prospective chemistry teachers during teaching practice. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and analysis of learning documentation. The results showed that most prospective teachers were able to compile lesson plans systematically and adjust the material to the students' abilities. However, weaknesses were found in formulating specific learning indicators, limitations in the variety of methods, and a lack of integration of learning technology. In terms of classroom management, prospective teachers demonstrate basic skills in maintaining order and time management; however, student participation remains low due to the prevalence of lectures and reactive strategies. The main obstacles include a lack of confidence in trying innovative methods and the limitations of learning media. The implications of these findings underscore the importance of strengthening pedagogical competence, particularly in the use of interactive methods, technology, and the development of reflective skills. Continuous evaluation and intensive coaching are necessary to enhance the professional readiness of prospective teachers in responding to fundamental classroom dynamics.
