Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Work Discipline (X1), Work Motivation (X2), and Work Environment (X3) on Employee Performance (Y) at CV. ABC. The sample in this study consisted of 51 employees of CV. ABC. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale, and the data were processed using Microsoft Excel 2019 and SPSS version 27 software. The sampling technique used was a saturated sampling method, where all employees in the company were selected as respondents. The research method applied in this study is multiple linear regression analysis, which allows for the identification of the relationships between independent variables (Work Discipline, Work Motivation, and Work Environment) and the dependent variable (Employee Performance). The results of the study indicate that the Work Discipline variable has a significant effect on Employee Performance, suggesting that employees who adhere to rules and regulations are likely to perform better. On the other hand, the Work Motivation variable does not have a significant effect on Employee Performance, indicating that motivation, in this case, may not play a major role in influencing performance. Furthermore, the Work Environment variable has a significant effect on Employee Performance, highlighting that a conducive and supportive work environment is crucial for improving employee performance. This study provides valuable insights into the factors that contribute to employee performance and can serve as a reference for improving human resource management strategies at CV. ABC.

Abstract

Football supporters are often referred to as the "12th player" due to their crucial role in creating a lively match atmosphere and boosting players' morale. Nearly every province or city in Indonesia has its own football club and a passionate fanbase. Notable examples include The Jakmania (supporters of Persija Jakarta), Bobotoh (Persib Bandung), and Bonek (Persebaya Surabaya). The challenges faced by these supporters extend beyond organizational involvement and relate closely to their ability to manage and allocate time effectively between work and non-work domains. For members of The Jakmania who are also employed, balancing professional responsibilities, personal life, and supporter-related activities has become a significant issue. This study aims to examine the influence of Motivation (X1) on Work-Life Balance (Y), as well as the influence of Organizational Culture (X2) on Work-Life Balance (Y) among working members of The Jakmania Ciledug, Tangerang City. The research utilized probability sampling through a simple random sampling method to ensure randomness and avoid selection bias, thereby enhancing the representativeness of the sample. The total population consisted of 112 members, and using the Slovin formula, a final sample of 53 respondents was determined. The analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression, assisted by SPSS version 25 and Microsoft Excel 2017. The findings reveal that Motivation (X1) has a positive and significant influence on Work-Life Balance (Y), and Organizational Culture (X2) also has a positive and significant influence on Work-Life Balance (Y).

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of organizational innovation on management strategy in the education sector, focusing on the mediating role of strategic change. Quantitative data were collected through a structured survey (Cronbach’s Alpha > 0.7) and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with a sequential explanatory mixed-methods approach. Key relationships were identified: organizational innovation significantly impacts management strategy (β = 0.45, p < 0.01), while strategic change mediates this relationship (β = 0.30, p < 0.01). Qualitative data from semi-structured interviews with 20 educational leaders revealed three critical themes: strategic alignment with institutional goals, the importance of participative leadership, and barriers such as resource constraints and bureaucratic inertia. These findings highlight the necessity of integrating innovation with strategic change to optimize management practices. The study contributes to literature by validating the dynamic capabilities framework in the education sector and addressing gaps related to the operationalization of innovation. Practical implications include fostering participative leadership, aligning innovation with institutional objectives, and streamlining resources to support transformative strategies. Policymakers and educational leaders are advised to implement context-sensitive frameworks to sustain innovation and enhance institutional adaptability.

Abstract

PKK Asoka, located on Karyawan Street 3, RT 002/RW 09, Karang Tengah, Cileduk, Tangerang, faced issues with the accumulation of organic waste such as vegetable scraps and fruit peels, as well as plastic waste, leading to an unclean environment and unpleasant odors that could cause disease. The main challenges were the lack of knowledge and facilities for proper waste management. The PKM team from Budi Luhur University (UBL) conducted observations and provided assistance in applying appropriate technology. Residents were trained to process organic waste using a composter to produce liquid fertilizer through fermentation. Meanwhile, inorganic waste was recycled into valuable items such as wallets and trash bins that could be sold. The PKM team also provided training in financial recording and sales techniques, and introduced a smart financial application to help PKK Asoka record transactions and prepare financial reports. As a result, the community became more environmentally conscious, gained the ability to manage waste independently, and increased their income by utilizing waste materials, contributing to the realization of a Green Economy in their neighborhood.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of job training, financial compensation, and career development on employee performance at Brand Cotton On, Lippo Mall Puri branch. The population in this study consisted of 40 employees who served as respondents in completing the questionnaire. The research data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire, which was then processed and analyzed using Microsoft Excel 2018 and SPSS version 25 software. The research method employed was multiple linear regression, aiming to determine the extent to which each independent variable influences the dependent variable, namely employee performance. The results of this study indicate that job training has a significant effect on improving employees’ abilities and productivity. Financial compensation also has a significant impact on employee performance, as it serves as motivation and encouragement in carrying out work tasks. In addition, career development contributes positively to performance improvement through promotion opportunities and skill enhancement. Overall, these three variables play an important role in achieving optimal employee performance. Therefore, the management of Cotton On Lippo Mall Puri is expected to continuously improve the quality of job training programs, provide fair financial compensation, and offer sustainable career development opportunities for all employees.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompensasi, beban kerja, dan lingkungan pekerjaan terhadap turnover intention karyawan PT XYZ Indonesia dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei dan teknik non-probability sampling melalui purposive sampling kepada 170 responden. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner berskala Likert dan dianalisis dengan pendekatan Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) menggunakan aplikasi SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompensasi dan beban kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan langsung terhadap turnover intention, namun lingkungan kerja dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap turnover intention. Variabel kepuasan kerja memediasi secara signifikan hubungan kompensasi, beban kerja, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap turnover intention. Pengaruh terbesar terhadap turnover intention secara tidak langsung datang dari lingkungan kerja melalui kepuasan kerja, dengan nilai Q² Predict menunjukkan tingkat relevansi prediktif model berada pada kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil path analysis, manajemen disarankan memprioritaskan peningkatan kualitas lingkungan kerja dan kepuasan kerja untuk menurunkan niat karyawan keluar. Temuan ini memperkaya literatur manajemen SDM, khususnya dalam konteks sektor publik dan perbankan strategis, serta memberikan dasar bagi kebijakan retensi karyawan yang berbasis data dan karakteristik generasi kerja modern.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh variabel Perceived Organizational Support, Organizational Justice, dan Workplace Well-Being terhadap Organizational Commitment di kalangan karyawan IT Outsource PT Evolusi Teknologi Solusi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survey menggunakan rumus Slovin, data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 116 karyawan perusahaan. Setiap pertanyaan dalam kuesioner dirancang untuk mengukur tiga variabel independen yang berpotensi mempengaruhi tingkat komitmen organisasi karyawan. Untuk menganalisis data, peneliti menggunakan teknik regresi linier berganda, yang memungkinkan untuk menguji pengaruh variabel-variabel tersebut secara simultan dan parsial terhadap Organizational Commitment. uji validitas dan reliabilitas dilakukan untuk memastikan keabsahan instrumen, sementara uji asumsi klasik (normalitas, multikolinearitas, dan heteroskedastisitas) serta uji F dan t digunakan untuk menguji signifikansi model regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Perceived Organizational Support dan Organizational Justice memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap Organizational Commitment, sedangkan Workplace Well-Being menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan.

Abstract

Heatwaves are becoming more frequent and severe, posing significant health risks, especially for vulnerable populations in urban areas. In response to this, green-exercise interventions, which combine physical activity with exposure to green spaces, offer a promising strategy for mitigating heat-related health risks. This study evaluates the effectiveness of green-exercise interventions in reducing heat-related mortality risks in heat-vulnerable communities. The research follows a longitudinal design, collecting data on physical activity, vegetation indices (NDVI), and heat-related mortality rates in urban areas prone to heatwaves. The findings reveal that green-exercise interventions resulted in up to an 18% reduction in heat-related mortality risks, demonstrating the significant impact of physical activity in natural environments. Moreover, positive correlations were found between increased green space and reduced health risks during heatwaves, emphasizing the importance of urban greening in mitigating the effects of extreme heat. Participants who engaged in outdoor physical activity in green spaces showed greater resilience to heat stress compared to those who opted for indoor exercises, underscoring the added benefits of natural environments for physical and mental health. However, the effectiveness of these interventions varied depending on environmental and behavioral factors, including the quality of green spaces and individual motivation to engage in outdoor activities. This study highlights the need for further research into the long-term effects of green-exercise interventions and the combined impact of socio-economic and environmental factors on health outcomes. The findings suggest that urban greening and physical activity in green spaces should be integrated into public health strategies, particularly in heat-vulnerable areas.
