Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze whether there is a role of Islamic spirituality in preventing burnout in college students as well as the relationship between Islamic spirituality and burnout. The research method used is this research design using a descriptive qualitative approach. With literature study and filling out questionnaires through g-forms as data collection methods. The results of this study indicate that there is a role of Islamic spirituality in preventing burnout in college students. This can be seen from the percentage level of Islamic spirituality, which is 52.5% in the good category, 32.5% in the very good category. 12.5% are in the good enough category, and only 2.5% are in the bad category. While the burnout level shows that 35% are in the very good category, and 37.5% are in the good category, 17.5% are in the good enough category, while the rest, namely 7.5% and 2.5% are in the bad and very bad categories. This shows that the higher the level of one's Islamic spirituality, the lower the level of burnout in a person. In addition, there is a relationship between Islamic principles such as tawakal, prayer and dhikr, time management and life balance (Wasathiyah), patience and gratitude which have a relationship with Burnout. Islamic spirituality has a role in preventing burnout in students who are used as coping in dealing with various pressures and difficulties.

Abstract

This study examines the role of drumband extracurricular activities in developing creativity and emotional intelligence of elementary school students at UPTD SDN Purwamekar, Purwakarta, which contributes to the improvement and creativity of students' emotional intelligence at the elementary school level. Extracurricular activities such as drumband are not only a means of developing talent, but also act as a medium for forming students' character and social skills from an early age. Data collection was conducted through interviews with supervising teachers and questionnaires filled out by 15 students in grades IV and V who actively participated in drumband activities for one semester. The data analysis technique was carried out descriptively qualitatively by grouping findings based on indicators of students' creativity and emotional intelligence. The results of the study showed that drumband activities had a significant positive influence on the development of students' creativity; as many as 86.6% of respondents stated that they were able to channel creative ideas and dare to express themselves through music. In addition, all respondents (100%) stated that they experienced improvements in terms of emotional management and teamwork, which are very important in the learning process in elementary schools. The results of this study were also supported by teachers who saw an increase in students' self-confidence, discipline, and social skills during the activities. Based on the research results, drumband extracurricular activities are a useful means to develop 21st century skills, such as critical and collaborative thinking, in addition to honing musical talents. The recommendations of this study include the need for further research to examine the elements that contribute to the success of drumband extracurricular activities and the implementation of other art extracurricular programs at the elementary school level

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran penataan tempat duduk dalam menunjang efektivitas pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur, artikel ini menganalisis berbagai strategi penataan tempat duduk dan dampaknya terhadap keterlibatan, kenyamanan, serta hasil belajar siswa. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penataan tempat duduk yang bervariasi dan disesuaikan dengan kegiatan pembelajaran, seperti formasi kelompok kecil, setengah lingkaran, dan huruf U, dapat meningkatkan aspek kognitif siswa. Studi kasus di beberapa sekolah juga menunjukkan hubungan antara penataan ruang dengan motivasi dan partisipasi belajar siswa. Penataan tempat duduk yang fleksibel direkomendasikan untuk mendukung pembelajaran yang aktif dan kolaboratif. Penelitian ini juga menyarankan adanya pengembangan lebih lanjut terkait integrasi penataan ruang kelas dengan teknologi dan pendekatan pembelajaran inovatif

Abstract

Pembelajaran kolaboratif merupakan pendekatan strategis yang menekankan kerja sama aktif antar siswa dalam kelompok kecil guna mencapai tujuan pembelajaran bersama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep dasar, manfaat, serta hubungan antara pembelajaran kolaboratif dan motivasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Melalui studi literatur, ditemukan bahwa pembelajaran kolaboratif mampu meningkatkan partisipasi aktif, keterampilan sosial, kemampuan berpikir kritis, serta memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih bermakna. Motivasi belajar siswa sendiri dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal, termasuk kondisi psikologis, dukungan sosial, dan lingkungan belajar. Hasil kajian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif antara pembelajaran kolaboratif dan peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa. Pendekatan kolaboratif menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inklusif, menyenangkan, dan memotivasi siswa untuk terlibat aktif dalam proses belajar. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran kolaboratif direkomendasikan sebagai pendekatan yang relevan dalam menjawab tantangan pendidikan abad ke-21 dan membentuk karakter siswa yang adaptif serta kolaboratif.
