Abstract

This study aims to analyze current trends, critical challenges, and future innovation prospects in the wireless ecosystem for mobile computing and m-commerce through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on the PRISMA protocol. The literature search was conducted on the Google Scholar database, focusing on publications from 2020 to 2025, using keyword combinations such as "wireless," "mobile computing," "mobile commerce," and "future directions." From an initial collection of 100 articles, seven met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed in depth. The findings indicate that the wireless ecosystem and mobile computing are not merely technological trends but have become tangible instruments transforming various strategic sectors, including economy, finance, healthcare, education, and logistics. In the economic sector, m-commerce drives financial inclusion and supports the growth of MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) through digital platforms. In healthcare, wireless technology enables telemedicine and health monitoring via wearable devices. In education, e-learning and mobile learning enhance accessibility and learning quality. Furthermore, technologies such as 5G, IoT, and blockchain play crucial roles in improving system efficiency and security. However, challenges related to data security, privacy, interoperability, and the digital divide still need to be addressed. This study recommends the development of adaptive policies, investment in digital infrastructure, and further research to bridge existing gaps. The findings contribute valuable insights for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers in understanding the dynamics and future development of the wireless ecosystem

Abstract

The issues surrounding the performance of small-scale restaurant businesses in Pariaman City prompted this research, which aims to examine Operational Management (OM) problems integrated with the influence of Knowledge Management (KM), Business Environment (BE), and Entrepreneurial Orientation (EO) on small business performance. This study employs a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative and qualitative research. Data was collected through Likert-scale questionnaires (91 respondents) and interviews with relevant informants. The results indicate that: (KM) has a positive and significant effect on Performance. (BE) has a positive and significant effect on Performance. (EO) has a positive and significant effect on Performance. The R² value of 0.795 for the Performance, the "good" category, indicating that approximately 79.5% of the variance in the dependent variable can be explained by the independent variables in the model. The low knowledge creation indicator in (KM) correlates with the need for supervision in business performance, reflecting that poor knowledge-sharing habits create information gaps among employees, leading to weak compliance with operational procedures. The low competition level indicator in (BE) relates to supervision needs in performance, suggesting that restaurants lack creative initiatives, neglect quality control, and fail to evaluate or innovate, increasing the risk of failure. The low innovation indicator in (EO) ties to supervision needs, indicating that a lack of innovative spirit affects fundamental aspects like hygiene and product quality.

Abstract

This study presents a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) on challenges and innovations in managing monopoly markets in the global era. The research collected articles published between 2015 and 2025 from Scopus, Web of Science, Dimensions, and Google Scholar following PRISMA guidelines. Through a rigorous selection process, eleven relevant articles were selected for further analysis. The findings reveal that monopoly markets in the digital era face complex challenges in the form of tension between innovation needs and antitrust regulations, where overly strict antitrust policies potentially hinder innovation incentives for dominant companies. The development of digital platform economies further complicates this dynamic through the formation of "data monopolies" that consolidate market power through algorithm and information control. Bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer identified four main research clusters: regulatory model development, managerial approaches, digital market dynamics, and sectoral applications. This study asserts that effective monopoly market management requires an adaptive regulatory approach that not only focuses on restricting monopoly power but also encourages collaboration between government, business actors, and academics in designing evidence-based policies. The research provides theoretical and practical contributions to developing market management policies capable of maintaining balance between economic growth, consumer protection, and promotion of healthy competition in an increasingly complex digital era. Keywords: managerial economics, innovation, challenges, monopoly
