Abstract

Concrete is a mixture of Portland cement or other hydraulic cement, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, and water, with or without additives (admixture). The naphthalene superplasticizer used comes from the distillation of coal tar and a little from the rest of petroleum, but there is also camphor naphthalene. Where camphor grains contain 250-500 mg of naphthalene. Naphthalene is mostly produced from coal tar distillation, and a little from the rest of the fractionation of petroleum, by the molecular formula (C10H8) and in the form of two unified benzene rings. This compound is volatile, volatile even in the form of solids. The vapor produced is flammable. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of naphthalene from coal tar waste with camphor naphthalene as concrete admixture, and determine the effect of naphthalene from coal tar waste with camphor naphthalene on concrete toughness, density, water absorption, of concrete compressive strength. It is expected that the use of naphthalene can reduce the use of cement, and reduce water use. But it does not reduce the strength of the concrete so as to reduce costs in making concrete. The variations in the use of camphor naphthalene and coal tar naphthalene are 20%, 30%, 40%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of palm shell boiler ash substituted in cement and glass powder substituted on fine aggregate in concrete mixes on compressive strength and slump values and to determine the usefulness of the concrete. This research used an experimental method with 9 variations of substitution materials, a total of 60 samples of cube-shaped test specimens measuring 15cmx15cmx15cm. The variation of Oil palm shell boiler substitution used is 0%, 6%, 8%, and 10%, and for glass powder substitution variation is 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15%. From the results of the compressive strength test conducted on the 7th day, the substitution of 8% Oil palm shell boiler Ash and 10% glass powder or variation E received the highest compressive strength result of 19,593 MPaWhile on the 28th day, substitution of 6% oil palm shell boiler ash and 5% glass powder or variation A received the highest compressive strength yield of 22,630 MPa.

Abstract

Bagasse ash is a waste from the sugar factory industry which has silica content and grain size is relatively the same as cement. Glass powder is made from industrial glass and household waste, has a silica content and grain size is relatively same as sand. The use of both wastes as concrete substitutes is expected to reduce environmental pollution and exploitation of natural resources. This study aims to determine the effect of bagasse ash as a cement substitution and glass powder as sand substitution in a concrete mixture on the compressive strength. This study uses a mixture of bagasse ash 2.5%, 5%, and 7.5% by weight of cement, and the glass powder is 5%, 10%, and 15% by weight of sand. Compressive strength testing on days 7 and 28. The results of this study are the higher percentage of substitution materials, workability will decrease. Compressive strength testing shows that all variations have resulted under normal concrete. The highest compressive strength is obtained from variation A with a mixture of 2.5% bagasse ash + 5% glass powder that is 24.50 MPa. Variation of the mixture with bagasse ash of 2.5% has a higher compressive strength than other variations on day 28.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian yang hendak dicapai pada penelitian ini adalah yang pertama untuk melihat minat baca kelompok B TK Pah Tsung sebelum diterapkannya metode kooperatif tipe jigsaw. Berikutnya agar dapat melihat bagaimana penerapan metode kooperatif tipe jigsaw ini dilaksanakan pada TK Pah Tsung, kemudian yang terakhir merupakan cara untuk melihat adanya peningkatan minat baca anak seusai diterapkannya metode kooperatif tipe jigsaw. Model yang dipergunakan pada penelitian ini adalah model Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang mengadaptasi model Arikunto dimana menggunakan dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ini ialah kelompok B TK Pah Tsung, Cengkareng-Jakarta Barat dengan jumlah 14 anak dengan menggunakan tahap pelaksanaan pembelajaran mulai dari bercakap-cakap, pembentukan kelompok asal dan kelompok ahli, diskusi kelompok ahli, penyelesaian tugas pada kelompok asal, dan yang terakhir pemberian reward kepada kelompok terbaik serta anggota kelompok terbaik. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw terhadap minat baca anak memberikan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan. Hal ini bisa dicermati berdasarkan data awal yang menunjukkan bahwa minat baca anak berada pada kategori kurang setelah diberikan stimulus pada siklus I serta siklus II minat baca anak meningkat menjadi 79% dengan kategori baik berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dapat meningkatkan minat baca anak.

Abstract

Tujuan yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menumbuhkan Kesiapan membaca permulaan melalui metode Menyanyi dan mengucap syair Di TK Negeri Pembina Tingkat Nasional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Populasinya adalah anak kelompok A2 berjumlah 16 anak terdiri dari 9 anak perempuan dan 7 anak laki-laki. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Bahwa menyanyi dan mengucap syair dapat menumbuhkan minat membaca permulaan.  Hal ini dapat di buktikan dari hasil observasi sebelum tindakan diperoleh kesiapan membaca permulaan sebesar 35, 29 % pada pelaksanaan siklus II meningkat sebesar 82,35 %. proses kegiatan menyanyi dan mengucap syair sangat di sukai anak-kanak karena mudah di terapkan dan sangat sederhana untuk kelompok usia 4- 5 tahun. Melalui kegiatan menyanyi dan mengucap Syair anak dapat menunjukan rasa keingingin tahuan dalam minat baca permulaan dimana Anak dapat berulang-ulang dapat mengucapkan kosa baru dalam lagu maupun syair Mengelompokan kata-kata yang sama maupun menyanyi dan mengucap syair dengan ekspresi bervariasi. Kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut di lakukan sesuai minat anak. Dengan demikian berdasarkan hasil analisis data di atas menunjukan bahwa metode menyanyi dan mengucap syair dapat menumbuhkan kesiapan baca permulaan anak Kelompok A2 di TK Negeri Pembina Tingkat Nasional.

Abstract

This research aims to formulate strategies that must be implemented for performance development by analyzing the company's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats through analysis on the Government. This research is qualitative descriptive research with a SWOT analysis method that aims to improve the performance of Government employees. Data collection is carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results and discussions that have been carried out previously, the author concludes that: the strategy used to improve employee performance is the SO (Strengths–Opportunities) strategy, actions that can be taken in the strengths strategy by increasing competence, extensive work experience and high competence. Meanwhile, the opportunities strategy is with the development of new technology that can improve work efficiency and reduce costs, the availability of quality human resources that can strengthen the work team.

Abstract

This study aims to find out human resource management strategies to reduce the transfer of employee duties. This research is a qualitative descriptive research, descriptive research does not provide treatment, manipulation or alteration to the variables studied, but describes a condition as it is. Data collection is carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. As a result of the previous discussions, the author concludes that effective HR management strategies to suppress the transfer of employee duties are a key factor in the success of the organization. By implementing the right strategies in human resource management, organizations can reap significant benefits, from increased productivity to better employee retention. It is important for organizations to continue to improve strategies in effective human resource management to reduce the transfer of employee duties in accordance with the development of the times and employee needs.

Abstract

Each employee receives education and training to obtain skills that suit the agency's needs. The aim of the research is to determine the analysis of the influence of the education variable (X1) and training variable (X2) of Human Resources on the employee performance variable (Y). The research location was carried out by researchers at BKPSDM Solok City using the Multiple Linear Regression method. The results of the research show that the HR education and training carried out by researchers has succeeded in finding that by increasing Human Resources training, employee performance will also increase in accordance with agency needs

Abstract

The subgrade is the road access construction project must have a firm soil bearing capacity to withstand its load. Clay soil has high water content and expands quickly. Various ways have been done to overcome it; one is improving the original soil properties using the stabilization method. The research was conducted to stabilize expansive clay soil using fly ash and limestone with a percentage of fly ash of 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% fly ash, and 25% limestone. Existing soil was used from a good pad construction project in Ujung Pangkah, Gresik, East Java. The tests carried out are specific gravity, Atterberg, compaction, CBR, and UCT tests. The CBR test was conducted to determine the appropriate CBR value to support DDT. The compressive strength of the soil was tested using the UCT test. The study results of the effect of fly ash and limestone are an increase in the dry weight of the earth and a decrease in soil water content. The rise in CBR and maximum soil compressive strength with a mixture variation of 20% fly ash + 25% limestone, Qu is 2.98 kg/cm 2, and CBR is 10.56%. This is due to a decrease in the water content, thereby increasing the dry weight of the soil.

Abstract

Wood management activities that are often encountered, as in wood cutting activities in the manufacture of wooden handicrafts, basically after this activity can become a problem, namely sawdust waste, where this waste if left for so long will be a big problem and have an impact on the environment. One solution that can be used for the problem of sawdust waste is to mix this sawdust waste into a concrete mixture. This sawdust waste can be used in concrete mixtures because of the cellulose content in sawdust waste which can affect the compressive strength value with different concrete treatment methods (curing) and slump of concrete. In this research included into experimental research with wood used is wood kamper samarinda, from the leftover cutting of wood frames from craftsman wood UD. kembang Arum in Bekasi, West Java.  Using sawdust waste with a size that passes through sieve No.4 (passes through a 4.75 mm) with variaes addition of 0 kg/m3 , 1 kg/m3  dan 1,5 kg/m3, as well as testing with a concrete mixture that has a mix design of 35 MPa f'c which is inserted into the test object in the form of a cylinder with a diameter and height of 15 and 30 cm which is then for the treatment method done by three different methods. The addition of saw dust waste with a varies of 1 kg/m3  dan 1,5 kg/m3   to the concrete mixture makes the slump and workability values decrease, but the slump value obtained is still in accordance with slump value plan. and for compressive strength values with an addition variation of 1 kg / m3 and 1.5 kg / m3 , The compressive strength value changes from the normal compressive strength value of concrete and the effect of the treatment method also affects the compressive strength value obtained.
