Abstract

Islamic education management in the digital era faces various challenges in maintaining harmony between the use of technology and the principles of Islamic law, which must be maintained. Technology provides easy access to information and learning, but on the other hand, there is a potential risk of negative influences that can shift Islamic values if not managed wisely and in accordance with sharia. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic legal principles in Islamic education management at SMPIT Al Muslih and to identify the challenges and solutions faced in integrating technology with Islamic values. The research method used was a qualitative approach with a case study. Data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews with administrators and educators at SMPIT Al Muslih. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive qualitative techniques. The results show that SMPIT Al Muslih has attempted to implement Islamic legal principles in educational management by paying careful attention to the use of technology. Technology is used to support the learning process and educational management, while maintaining compliance with sharia values. However, there are challenges related to inadequate regulations and low digital competence among educators. This hampers the optimal implementation of Islamic legal principles in educational management. The implications of this research indicate the need to develop policies and regulations that are adaptive to technological developments, while maintaining the integrity of Islamic values.

Abstract

Human resource (HRM) management in Islamic financial institutions emphasizes not only efficiency and productivity but also reflects Islamic values in all its practices. This study aims to examine how optimization of HRM based on Sharia values is carried out at Pegadaian Syariah Johar, East Karawang, and how this implementation impacts employee performance. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of management and employees directly involved in institutional activities. The results show that Sharia values such as trustworthiness, honesty, responsibility, and deliberation have been internalized in the work culture and interpersonal relationships among employees. Although not yet fully integrated into formal managerial systems such as recruitment and performance evaluation, these values have positively contributed to employee discipline, loyalty, and work ethic. These findings confirm that a values-based approach can be an effective strategy for managing HRM in Islamic financial institutions. The implications of this research encourage the importance of developing a more structured and consistent HR management system with sharia principles, so that Islamic financial institutions are not only economically superior, but also reflect ethical and spiritual excellence.

Abstract

The integration of Islamic educational values and the concept of lifelong learning is an urgent need to address the challenges of 21st-century education, particularly in madrasah environments, which play a strategic role in shaping students' character and competencies from an early age. This study aims to analyze the forms and mechanisms of integration of Islamic educational values with the concept of lifelong learning in the curriculum of the Tarbiyatul Athfal Elementary Madrasah. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies of teachers, madrasah principals, and curriculum documents. Data analysis was conducted inductively through the processes of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that this integration is realized through four main aspects: values-based learning strategies and reflection, the role of teachers as a liaison between Islamic teachings and long-term learning competencies, a school culture that supports contextual learning, and curriculum documents that include indicators of reflective and applicable learning. Educational practices in this madrasah illustrate a concrete effort to align Islamic teachings with the principles of lifelong learning. The implications of this study confirm that basic Islamic education has the potential to develop a holistic curriculum that is relevant to today's demands. This research contributes to the development of madrasa curriculum policies and practices that are oriented towards values and sustainability of learning.
