Abstract

Photoshop yang berperan penting dalam dunia pendidikan maupun peluang wirausaha kreatif. Namun, temuan awal di SMA Negeri 3 Meulaboh, Aceh Barat menunjukkan bahwa wawasan peserta didik tentang pemanfaatan dan pengoperasian Photoshop sebagai instrumen desain komunikasi visual masih menjadi kendala. Kondisi ini menuntut adanya pelatihan bagi mereka yang dapat meningkatkan kompetensi visual sekaligus membentuk pola pikir berwirausaha (entrepreneurial mindset). Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan metode eksplikasi, diskusi, dan bimbingan teknis yang melibatkan 30 peserta didik. Tahapan pelaksanaan terdiri atas analisis kebutuhan, persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan pendampingan oleh tim penyelenggara pengabdian. Materi difokuskan pada pengenalan dan pengoperasian Photoshop serta praktik desain stempel sebagai sarana belajar dasar. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan semua peserta belum pernah mengoperasikan Photoshop untuk kegiatan desain. Namun, pasca kegiatan dua diantara peserta didik yang mau mencoba mengoperasikan Photoshop secara langsung dengan bimbingan tim sudah mampu mengoperasikan fitur dasar meskipun keterampilannya masih perlu dilatih. Kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa pengabdian yang dilakukan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik, menumbuhkan kesadaran akan peluang wirausaha kreatif, serta memberikan alternatif kegiatan positif di era digital

Abstract

This article discusses the analysis of religious tolerance and harmony in Majapahit Maha Vihara Tourism, a Buddhist place of worship located in Bejijong Village, Trowulan District, Mojokerto Regency, East Java. This research aims to examine the understanding of religious tolerance in the interaction of the community in the tourist area as well as the visitors. This research uses a qualitative approach. The techniques used in data collection are interviews and literature studies. This research produces: First, the attitude of tolerance carried out by the community around the tourist attractions and visitors to Maha Vihara Majapahit. Second, the positive contributions made by the community around the tourist area. This article provides insight into the important role of places of worship in strengthening attitudes of tolerance between religious communities and making a positive contribution in realizing a pluralistic society.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a comic based learning media containing the Sasak folklore “Doyan Neda” for teaching integer arithmetic operations to fourth grade students at SDN 1 Aikmel, as well as to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed media. This research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The formative evaluation results showed that the comic media obtained a media expert validation score of 98.33% and a material expert validation score of 87.63%, both categorized as highly valid. The small group trial involving 7 students obtained a percentage score of 93.87%, categorized as highly feasible, while the large-group trial involving 18 students obtained a percentage score of 90.82%, categorized as highly feasible. Teacher responses toward the use of the media obtained a percentage score of 96.66%, categorized as highly practical. The effectiveness analysis through pretest and posttest results showed an improvement in students’ learning outcomes, with the average score increasing from 67.60 to 89.36, the learning mastery percentage increasing from 56% to 100%, and an N-gain score of 0.72, categorized as high. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the comic-based learning media containing the Sasak folklore “Doyan Neda” is valid, practical, and effective for use as a mathematics learning medium for integer arithmetic operations in fourth-grade elementary school, while also supporting the preservation of Sasak local culture through an ethnomathematics approach.
