Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of group counselling services employing the Client-Centred Therapy approach in enhancing the social skills of students with anxious introverted traits. Employing a quantitative method with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design, the study involved 11 seventh-grade students of MTs Al-Ulum Medan who were identified as having high levels of anxious introversion. The instrument used was an introversion scale, and the data were analysed using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. The findings revealed a significant decrease in introversion levels after the intervention, with all participants shifting from the high category (121–134; 76%–84%) to moderate and low categories (113–119; 71%–74%). Statistical analysis indicated Z = -2.950, p = 0.003 (< 0.05), and effect size r = 0.89, which reflects a significant effect. These results demonstrate that Client-Centred Group Counselling is effective in reducing social anxiety and enhancing students’ social skills, particularly in areas such as communication, cooperation, and self-confidence. The study highlights that school counsellors are encouraged to adopt client-centred group counselling as part of their structured psychosocial support. Further research is recommended to expand this model across various school contexts with larger samples, stronger experimental designs, and long-term evaluations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengedukasi produk UMKM sapu lidi yang berbasis kearifan lokal dan memiliki kontribusi yang tinggi dalam hal pertumbuhan perekonomian, fokus kajian terdapat pada anggota rantai pasok dari pembuat produk kepada konsumen, dan pemasaran sapu lidi yang menjadi produk lokal desa Tamaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode partisipatif dengan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR). Pendekatan ini melibatkan kolaborasi langsung dengan masyarakat dalam proses pemberdayaan, sehingga masyarakat tidak hanya menjadi objek, tetapi juga pelaku. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa kerjasama menjadi hal yang penting terutama antara anggota rantai pasok dari hulu ke hilir untuk menjaga kualitas produk sapu lidi hingga ke tangan konsumen. Aliran rantai pasok sapu lidi pada usaha sapu lidi ini adalah pemasok bahan baku, pengusaha sapu lidi, pedagang pemasar dan konsumen, serta dalam hal peningkatan keunggulan pemasaran dengan mengandalkan desain logo produk, menjalin kemitraan, dan pengembangan sistem promosi selain memasarkan di toko juga memanfaatkan platform media sosial seperti Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, dan Tikok. Abstract

Penyakit Tidak Menular (PTM) seperti penyakit jantung, kanker, dan diabetes semakin banyak menyerang generasi muda akibat kebiasaan hidup yang tidak sehat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tingkat pengetahuan dan perilaku siswa SMP terhadap faktor risiko PTM. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional, dan pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara terstruktur terhadap 24 siswa di UPT SMPN 2 yang beralamat di Jl. Brigjend Katamso, Kelurahan Kampung Baru, Kecamatan Medan Maimun. Kuesioner terdiri dari 27 item yang meliputi kebiasaan merokok, pola makan, aktivitas fisik, kualitas tidur, dan kesadaran terhadap risiko PTM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata tingkat respons positif sebesar 48,38% yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Temuan ini menunjukkan perlunya peningkatan intervensi pendidikan kesehatan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan mempromosikan praktik hidup sehat di kalangan remaja. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya pencegahan dini melalui pendidikan kesehatan berbasis sekolah.

Abstract

The phenomenon of global sea level rise is accelerating the rate of erosion that threatens the stability of coastal areas in various countries. As an archipelagic country with extensive coastlines, Indonesia faces serious risks from prolonged coastal erosion along its coastline, which spans hundreds of thousands of kilometers. Indonesia's coastal areas are vulnerable to coastal erosion, which impacts both the environment and settlements. Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, is one of the areas experiencing significant erosion. One sustainable non-structural mitigation effort is through environmental-based education, particularly the introduction of the role of coastal vegetation. This study aims to determine the effect of disaster mitigation education on abrasion through the introduction of the role of vegetation on the improvement of knowledge and awareness of students at SMP Negeri 1 Pantai Cermin. The study uses a quantitative approach with a pretest–posttest design involving 60 students. Instruments. The research instruments consisted of questionnaires and knowledge tests. Based on the collected data, there was a significant increase in the understanding scores from an average of 10.85 before the intervention to 14.58 after the material was delivered. These findings indicate that vegetation-based coastal abrasion mitigation education is effective in increasing students' knowledge and awareness of coastal erosion.
