Abstract

This study aims to implement Yusuf al-Qaradawi’s method of understanding hadith in Kaifa Nata‘amal ma‘a al-Sunnah al-Nabawiyyah regarding the hadiths used as the basis for his fatwa on the the "Meaning of Fi Sabilillah in the Verse of Zakat." The background of this research is the importance of understanding the context of jihad in Islam in the modern era. The methodology employed is descriptive-analytical, involving steps such as explaining Yusuf al-Qaradawi’s method of understanding hadith and analyzing the implementation of this method in his fatwa. The results show that in his fatwa, Yusuf al-Qaradawi applies two methods of hadith understanding: compiling thematically related hadiths and distinguishing between the variable means and the constant objectives. The implication of this understanding method is that jihad in Islam is not limited to physical warfare but also encompasses efforts in da’wah and defending the faith. The means have shifted from tools of war to support for those engaged in da’wah. This study contributes significantly to contemporary understanding of jihad in Islam.

Abstract

Reciting the Qur'an with proper tahsin and in accordance with the correct makharijul huruf is a fardhu kifayah obligation for Muslims. This skill is essential to ensure that Qur'anic recitation adheres to the established rules of tajweed. However, at TPQ Desa Sumber Kerep, Kecamatan Mantup, Kabupaten Lamongan, several fundamental issues have been identified regarding the ability of teachers and students to articulate the letters of the Qur'an correctly. Common errors include mispronunciation of letters that do not align with their proper makhraj (place of articulation), thus affecting the accuracy of Qur'anic recitation. The Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach offers an alternative method for empowering communities by utilizing the assets possessed by the community. In this context, assets refer to the potential or strengths within the community, including individual capabilities (such as intelligence, empathy, and collaboration) as well as available natural resources. By optimizing these potentials, empowerment programs can be designed to enhance Qur'anic recitation skills. The implementation of ABCD-based programs has proven effective in improving the quality of Qur'anic recitation for both teachers and students at TPQ Desa Sumber Kerep. This program provides a strong foundation for sustainable Qur'anic learning. To ensure continuity and further improvement in the proficiency of makharijul huruf, it is recommended to conduct regular training sessions accompanied by periodic evaluations to achieve optimal results.

Abstract

The legal view on gold savings from the perspective of DSN-MUI and Shaykh Wahbah Zuhayli has basic similarities, namely from the nash hadith, but differs in the legal istinbat on the nas. This research aims to uncover the legal review of gold investment from the perspective of DSN-MUI and Shaykh Wahbah Zuhayli. The research uses qualitative methods and data collection uses documentation techniques to be further analyzed descriptively -critically on the arguments of both parties about gold investment. This research shows the view of MUI that it allows gold investment with istidlal that in the current context gold has changed not as a means of transaction but has been transformed as sil'ah (valuable goods). Meanwhile, according to Wahbah Zuhaili, it is the view that gold savings should not be based on the textual understanding of the hadith because gold is a usury item.
