Abstract

Teachers are professional educators who have an important role in teaching, guiding, directing, training and assessing. In line with the development of the meaning of learning from teacher-oriented learning to student-oriented learning, the role of a teacher in the learning process has also shifted, one of the teacher's roles is as a motivator. Thus, the role of the teacher apart from being an educator and teacher also plays a role as a motivator for his students. Because in this way, students will not experience a saturation point and in the end students' interest and motivation in learning will continue to increase. Motivation can be said to be the overall driving force within students which creates, ensures continuity and provides direction to learning activities, so that it is hoped that goals can be achieved. This research will examine the efforts made by teachers in the field of Islamic religion to increase student learning motivation. This research is field research using descriptive analytical research methods, namely by describing and interpreting objects. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews with teachers, and documentation. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been carried out, the author concludes that the way to increase student learning motivation at MTs Al-Hikmah Sidang is to give advice, provide opportunities to show themselves, create an atmosphere of healthy competition.

Abstract

Kajian ini membahas konsep ma‘na al-Dakhil dan al-Ashil dalam penafsiran Al-Qur’an serta dinamika pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya dalam sejarah tafsir. Al-Dakhil dipahami sebagai unsur asing yang menyusup ke dalam penafsiran Al-Qur’an, seperti riwayat israiliyyat, hadis palsu atau lemah, serta penafsiran ideologis yang tidak memiliki landasan yang sah dan bertentangan dengan Al-Qur’an, Sunnah, dan akal sehat. Sebaliknya, al-Ashil merujuk pada tafsir yang otentik dan valid, yang bersumber dari Al-Qur’an, hadis sahih, pendapat para Sahabat dan Tabiin, serta ijtihad yang sesuai dengan kaidah bahasa Arab dan syariat Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan dan analisis deskriptif-analitis. Sebagai contoh penerapan konsep al-Dakhil, dikaji penafsiran QS. al-Kahfi [18]: 74 yang menunjukkan adanya riwayat israiliyyat dalam sebagian tafsir, khususnya pada Tafsir al-Baidhawi, sementara Tafsir Ibnu Katsir menunjukkan sikap kehati-hatian, dan Tafsir Jalalain menampilkan uraian naratif tanpa kritik sanad. Kajian ini juga mengungkap bahwa al-Dakhil mulai muncul sejak masa Sahabat, berkembang pada masa Tabiin, dan semakin meluas pada era Abbasiyah seiring dengan ekspansi wilayah Islam, perbedaan latar belakang sosial-budaya, serta masuknya pengaruh non-Islam dalam khazanah tafsir. Dengan demikian, ilmu al-Dakhil fi al-Tafsir menjadi instrumen penting untuk menjaga kemurnian penafsiran Al-Qur’an, membedakan tafsir yang otentik (al-Ashil) dari yang menyimpang (al-Dakhil), serta melindungi umat Islam dari pemahaman yang keliru terhadap kitab suci Al-Qur’an.

Abstract

Contemporary Islamic education still faces an epistemological problem in the form of a dichotomy between religious knowledge and rational knowledge, which has resulted in a weak tradition of critical and integrative thinking among students. This condition demands an effort to reconstruct the paradigm of Islamic education that is able to integrate reason and revelation harmoniously. This study aims to analyze Ibn Rushd's Islamic educational thought within the framework of rational philosophy and its relevance to the development of contemporary Islamic education. This study uses a qualitative approach through document study with primary data sources in the form of Ibn Rushd's works and secondary sources in the form of books, journal articles, theses, and relevant proceedings. Data collection techniques were carried out through systematic literature searches, while data analysis uses content analysis methods to examine the educational concepts contained in Ibn Rushd's thought. The results of the study indicate that Ibn Rushd's concept of Islamic education is built on the foundation of integration between reason and revelation as two complementary sources of knowledge. Education is seen as a process of developing rational, spiritual, and moral potential in a balanced manner, with the aim of forming individuals who are knowledgeable, moral, and critical thinkers. In terms of curriculum, Ibn Rushd emphasized orientation toward religious goals, the formation of noble morals, and the strengthening of systematic and rational academic reasoning. Meanwhile, the educational methods he developed were based on a demonstrative approach (burhānī), dialogue, discussion, and the use of inductive and deductive methods. These findings confirm that Ibn Rushd's thinking has strategic relevance in formulating an integrative, rational, and contextual paradigm for Islamic education, in order to address the challenges of education in the modern era.
