Abstract

The Importance of Education in National Progress: A Case Study of SMP Negeri 3 Bayung Lencir This article reviews the important role of education in national progress, with a focus on SMP Negeri 3 Bayung Lencir. As a key element in the education system, teachers play a central role in improving pedagogical and social competence. Pedagogical competence is improved through understanding the characteristics of students and developing semester lesson plans (SLPs). Meanwhile, social competence is enhanced through effective communication between teachers, students, and the community. The results of interviews show that teachers are making efforts to understand the characteristics of students and design SLPs to ensure that learning is structured. Communication between teachers is built through attitudes of tolerance and understanding, creating a pleasant learning environment. Participation in activities with the community is also a form of social competence improvement. These practices not only create an effective learning environment, but also improve competitiveness. However, it was found that there are challenges in social competence, namely teacher-student communication and students' lack of understanding. The steps taken to address these problems are by creating enjoyable learning, creating group discussions, and building communication with parents.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Sreoke iskemik (stroke non hemoragik) adalah kehilangan fungsi otak yang disebabkan oleh sumpai darah ke otak yang terhenti karena adanya thrombus dan embolus sehingga dapat menyebabkan mobilisasi terganggu dan kesulitan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan aktivitas sehari-hari. Pengobatan yang digunakan untuk untuk mengembalikan anggota gerak yaitu dengan memberikan terapi cermin. Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran asuhan keperawatan pada pasien stroke non hemoragik dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan mobilitas fisik. Metode : Merode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan studi kasus atau purposing sample. Subjek studi kasus ini diambil dari satu pasien lansia dengan stroke non hemoragik yang mengalami kelemahan pada otot sebagian tubuh pasien. Data penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan metode observasi partisipasif, wawancara tidak terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Hasil : Hasil studi kasus menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan asuhan keperawatan pada pasien stroke non hemoragik dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan mobilitas fisik yang dilakukan didapatkan hasil bahwa terjadi peningkatan derajat kekuatan otot setelah dilakukan penerapan pemberian terapi cermin. Kesimpulan : Terapi cermin merupakan bentuk rehabilitasi yang mengandalkan bayangan motorik, dimana cermin akan memberikan stimulus visual yang akan cendrung ditiru oleh Sebagian tubuh yang mengalami kelemahan otot. Setelah dilakukan tindakan penerapan terapi cermin selama 7 hari dengan 5 kali kunjungan dipagi hari selama 15 menit selama 2 sesi klien mengalami peningkatan kekuatan otot dari skala 3 ke skala 4. Kesimpulannya terapi cermin cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan kekuatan otot ekstremitas atas pada pasien stroke non hemoragik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of parental social support on the learning achievement of senior high school students in Bayung Lencir District through learning motivation as a mediating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The data analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) with the help of the SmartPLS application. The results of the study indicate that parental social support has a positive and significant effect on student learning motivation with a total effect value of 0.867, a t-statistics value of 25.935, and a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). Learning motivation is also proven to have a positive and significant effect on student learning achievement with a total effect value of 0.551, a t-statistics value of 5.442, and a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). Parental social support has a positive and significant effect on academic achievement through learning motivation as a mediating variable, with an indirect effect of 0.477, a t-statistic of 5.100, and a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). The total effect is 0.913 with a t-statistic of 41.610, indicating a very strong influence. Learning motivation acts as a partial mediator in the relationship between parental social support and student achievement. Parental social support has not only a direct effect but also an indirect effect through increased learning motivation. Thus, parental social support is a crucial factor in improving the motivation and academic achievement of high school students in Bayung Lencir District.
