Abstract

This study is to examine the impact of promotional innovation and user experience on the repurchase intentions of Lazada consumers in Medan City, both individually and collectively. This study also aims to enhance comprehension of how new advertising techniques and gratifying user experiences might augment consumer loyalty in the digital marketplace. The methodology employed is quantitative, utilizing a survey technique. Data were gathered from 200 Lazada users in Medan City, chosen through purposive sampling based on the criterion of having shopped at Lazada multiple times and being residents of Medan. The Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method was used to analyze the data and examine the association between the research variables. SmartPLS 4.0 software was used to do this. The data shows that both promotional innovation and user experience have a favorable and significant effect on the intention to buy again, both on their own and together. This analysis shows that good user experiences and inventive marketing methods are important for getting people to buy again and making them more loyal. This study enhances the digital marketing literature by elucidating the synergistic impact of promotional innovation and user experience on consumer repurchase intention, specifically within the realm of e-commerce in Indonesia. These findings underscore the necessity for e-commerce entities such as Lazada to cultivate creative promotional techniques and enhance the user experience to foster enduring consumer loyalty and bolster competitiveness in the digital age. This study was limited to Lazada customers in Medan City; hence, the findings may not be applicable to other regions or e-commerce platforms with distinct consumer demographics

Abstract

This study investigates the efficiency of Village Fund expenditures in infrastructure projects within Kutambaru Subdistrict, Langkat Regency, and identifies which villages demonstrate efficient or inefficient budget utilization. The analysis is based on secondary data, including Village Budget (APBDes), Budget Plans (RAB), budget realization reports, and accountability reports from eight villages. Efficiency is measured using four public sector accounting indicators: budget-realization ratio, cost-to-physical-output ratio, cost variance (CV), and value for money (VfM). Findings reveal varying levels of efficiency across villages. Kaperas, Namotogan, and Rampal are categorized as the most efficient, characterized by low cost per meter, positive cost variance, and high VfM scores. In contrast, Kuta Gajah and Sulkam are deemed inefficient due to cost overruns (negative CV), high cost per meter, and low infrastructure utility. These inefficiencies are primarily attributed to weaknesses in budget planning (RAB), inaccurate volume estimations, uneconomical material procurement, and suboptimal technical supervision. The study highlights the importance of comprehensive financial performance evaluation at the village level using a value for money approach to ensure that Village Funds yield economic, efficient, and effective development outcomes. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for village and regional governments in improving infrastructure budget governance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the role played by regional ethical codes in Islamic banking's development, adoption and the integration of this financial system at the international level. A comprehensive review of the last 6 years' research in the field is given, covering 86 academic papers from 2020 to 2025. The PRISMA methodology is applied in order to identify, appraise and merge the findings from the studies in areas like ethical and cultural values, Shariah compliance, governance, and socio-economic goals. In fact, research shows that regional ethical frameworks are crucial in ensuring that Islamic financial services are truly ethical and in addition are a key factor in differentiating Islamic financial services from conventional ones within the global marketplace. In the integration of Islamic finance with global norms there are a number of challenges, including the integration of Islamic finance with community-based ethics, the need to harmonise Islamic law with transnational financial dealings and the impact of technological advancements such as the development of financial services companies (fintech). The key theme in this study is the integration of Islamic financial practices with the values of their community, the strategies employed by financial institutions to reconcile local Shariah law with international finance systems, and the role of ethical governance in establishing trust and promoting economic growth. In light of these implications, it is essential that regulatory agencies, industry leaders and government officials work towards ensuring international business practices align with local standards of ethics. Further research is required in such areas as the implications of sustainable finance for conventional financial structures, digitalisation and its impact on the role of the business community and the finance industry, and in cross border issues of ethics.
