Abstract

Abstract Lecturer in education works closely with colleagues in Campus. Lectures are materials developers at College, in that they involved every day in matching materials to the needs of their learners. In order to do this, they select, adapt and supplement materials when preparing their lessons and they make decisions about their materials throughout their lessons in response to their learner’s reactions. This paper describes teaching/learning materials development for ELT with culture perspective in west Sumatera that Tiga Tungku Sajarangan (the three important leadherships). This paper discusses materials development in reading skill.

Abstract

Writing this article aims to examine the contribution of Ma'had Aly through the education system such as curriculum, educational methods, the basis for implementing Islamic religious education in ma'had aly and variations in the development of Islamic boarding schools' academic traditions in ma'had aly. This study utilizes a qualitative descriptive method. Therefore, the analysis used in reading and interpreting qualitative data. Sources of data were collected from journal materials, articles and websites that are relevant to this study. so that it can be concluded that Ma'had Aly is part of the pesantren function to awaken the community to have idealism, intellectual ability, and noble behavior (al-Akhlâq al-Karîmah) ​​in order to organize and build a complete national character. If seen from the mapping of education, ma'had aly includes formal diniyah education, in which case the government has issued several policies related to Islamic religious education in Ma'had Aly and in the ma'had aly style education system this is a form of effort to creating scholars who will be able to provide a correct understanding of Islam in accordance with Islamic teachings.

Abstract

Pada dasarnya Islam adalah agama permberdayaan sebagaimana dalam Al Quran surat Ar Ra’du ayat 11. Pemberdayaan merupakan proses pengembangan partisipasi, terutama dalam pengelolaan pariwisata berbasis masyarakat yang membutuhkan keterlibatan penuh masyarakat sehingga berdampak pada kesejahteraan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: Menganalisis hubungan partisipasi masyarakat pada implementasi program pariwisata dengan implikasi kesejahteraan sosial dan ekonomi. Penelitian ini didesain menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Partisipasi masyarakat dalam seluruh aktifitas program pariwisata dilihat pada dimensi, Decision Making, Implementations, Benefits dan Evaluation. Anggota masyarakat dalam pengelolaan pariwisata di kawasan Mandeh hanya berpartisipasi pada dimensi benefits dan sedikit pada dimensi Implementations, sehingga hanya berdampak pada kesejahteraan ekonomi.
