Abstract

PT. Lautan Hutan Lestari is a coal mining company operating in Lemo Village, Central Kalimantan. The company targets production in May 2024 of 98.852 tonnes with an hourly target of 130 tonnes/hour. The actual coal production data shows production of 62.206 tonnes, the achievement of production is only 62,92% of the planned target. This study aims to increase the productivity of the coal getting unit, analyse the factors that cause the non-achievement of Komatsu PC 300 excavator productivity and provide improvement efforts to meet the planned production targets. Equipment analysis was carried out on a combination of mechanical tools used during the study, namely Excavator Komatsu PC 300. The research method used in this research is quantitative method. There are 2 scenarios that can be used to increase tool productivity in coal getting activities. Scenario 1 is a reduction in avoidable obstacle time to increase work efficiency so that productivity becomes 169,55 Tonnes/hour, this scenario has reached the production target but can still be improved. Scenario 2 is an improvement in obstacle time to increase work efficiency and fleet matching with the addition of conveyance units so that the resulting productivity can increase significantly by 222,22 Tonnes Keywords : Coal Getting., Excavator, Match Factor, Productifity

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh parameter geometri peledakan terhadap nilai Scaled Depth of Burial (SDoB), Powder Factor (PF), fragmentasi, dan waktu gali (digging time) pada kegiatan peledakan tanah penutup di Pit Warute,PT. Bina Sarana Sukses (BSS) Jobsite Antang Gunung Meratus, Kalimantan Selatan. Data diperoleh dari lima belas kegiatan peledakan dengan variasi burden, spasi, kedalaman lubang, dan panjang stemming. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai SDoB berkisar antara 1,00–1,38 m·kg⁻¹ᐟ³ dengan rata-rata 1,19 m·kg⁻¹ᐟ³, sedangkan PF berada pada kisaran0,11–0,17 kg·m⁻³ dengan rata-rata 0,14 kg·m⁻³. Analisis regresi linier memperlihatkan bahwa hubungan antara SDoB terhadap fragmentasi dan digging time bersifat lemah, dengan nilai koefisien determinasi masing-masing sebesar R² = 0,042 dan R² = 0,015. Demikian pula, PF tidak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap kedua parameter tersebut.Meskipun demikian, secara empiris ditemukan bahwa kombinasi geometri peledakan dengan burden 7 m, spasi 9 m, kedalaman lubang 7–8 m, dan stemming 3 m memberikan hasil fragmentasi yang lebih seragam serta waktu gali yang lebih efisien. Dengan demikian, rentang nilai SDoB antara 1,10–1,25 m·kg⁻¹ᐟ³ direkomendasikan sebagai kondisi optimumuntuk kegiatan peledakan di Pit Warute.

Abstract

This study was conducted to evaluate the level of conformity between actual mining activities in March 2025 and the monthly sequence design plan at PT Tama Raya's P3000BK14 pit. The evaluation focused on geometric deviations, volume achievement, and changes in field conditions that influenced these discrepancies. The data used included the sequence design, actual topography from the TLS (Low-Scale Land Survey), and weekly production realizations. The results showed significant discrepancies between the planned and actual operations in weeks 2 and 4, primarily in the form of overcuts, undercuts, non-designed contour changes, thinning of the coal seam, and hydrological obstacles such as ponding and unstable drainage. The R2 sequence redesign in week 4 proved to improve the overburden excavation flow but did not fully restore coal access due to persistent geological and water conditions. These findings emphasize the need for more rapid topographic updates, more intensive water handling, and interdepartmental coordination to ensure better synchronization of plans and operations.
