Abstract

Kata Kunci: Qira’at Al-Qur’an, Kisah Nabi Musa, Surah Al-Qasas.

Abstract

The rapid publication of Al-Qur’an mushafs in Indonesia requires the application of consistent standards to maintain the sanctity of the recitation. The Lajnah Pentashihan Mushaf al-Qur’an (LPMQ) was established to ensure that every published mushaf adheres to the agreed-upon guidelines to preserve the integrity of Al-Qur’an recitation. This study aims to ensure that the Yasin books used in religious activities in Indonesia comply with the Mushaf Standar Indonesia (MSI), with the goal of preventing recitation errors that could affect the understanding and sanctity of the Al-Qur’an. The approach used in this study is library research with a qualitative descriptive method, relying on written sources such as books, manuscripts, and relevant articles. This research also collects primary data in the form of books discussing MSI and secondary data from various relevant scholarly journals. All collected data were analyzed using the interactive analysis model of Huberman and Miles. The book studied is "Surat Yasin, Tahlil, dan Istighasah," published by Afif Media Surabaya. The results of this study show several discrepancies in the book’s writing, particularly related to the use of Hamzah wasl, placement of waqaf marks, and application of mad thabi'i. However, these discrepancies are primarily due to differences in the application of printing guidelines across various editions of the Al-Qur’an, especially earlier printings that tend to adopt Middle Eastern writing styles

Abstract

Abstract This study explores the challenges faced by blind students in learning the Qur'an using Braille at SLB-A Negeri 3 Martapura. The background highlights the importance of inclusive education and the right to religious learning for students with visual impairments. The aim is to identify both internal and external problems experienced by these students and to describe effective strategies applied by teachers and schools to overcome them. Using a qualitative case study approach, the data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving teachers and students. The findings reveal that internal problems include low self-confidence, difficulty recognizing Braille Qur'anic letters, limited concentration, and lack of motivation. Meanwhile, external problems involve the shortage of competent Qur'an Braille teachers, though this is mitigated by adequate facilities and supportive environments. The school adopts several strategies, such as the multisensory Abahata method, the use of Braille learning tools, individual mentoring, motivation reinforcement, and participation in Qur'anic competitions to build confidence and skills. The conclusion emphasizes that the challenges of learning Qur'an Braille among blind students are not insurmountable but require consistent support, adaptive teaching methods, and a collaborative environment. This study underscores the significance of holistic and empathetic educational approaches in empowering visually impaired students in religious literacy. Abstract

This article investigates how the variation of Qur'anic readings (qirā'āt) in QS. al-Mā'idah: 54 opens a new semantic space for reinterpreting the gradual erosion of religious commitment among contemporary Muslim netizens a phenomenon termed "digital faith erosion." Through qualitative library research employing an interdisciplinary approach (linguistic-qirā'āt analysis, comparative tafsīr, and religious identity theory), this study finds that the morphological difference between yartadda (idghām, majority reading) and yartadid (iẓhār, Ḥamzah and al-Kisā'ī) generates two distinct semantic layers: (1) formal/legal riddah denoting an abrupt, decisive act of apostasy and (2) symbolic/gradual riddah reflecting a slow, iterative erosion of spiritual commitment occurring in digital spaces through exposure to nihilism, religious relativism, and algorithmic consumerism. Classical exegetes (al-Ṭabarī and Ibn Kathīr) contextualise the verse within the historical Ridda Wars, adopting a political-military hermeneutic.  Contemporary exegetes (Ibn 'Āshūr and Quraish Shihab), by contrast, foreground the communal dimensions of spiritual resilience expressed through the verse's core triad: yuḥibbuhum wa yuḥibbūnahū (reciprocal love), adhillah 'alā al-mu'minīn (solidarity), and lā yakhāfūna lawmata lā'im (moral courage). This study contributes a novel theoretical framework integrating 'Ulūm al-Qur'ān with the Sociology of Digital Religion and argues that qirā'āt is not merely a technical discipline but a rich hermeneutic instrument for addressing the fragility of faith in the digital age.
