Abstract

Indonesia is a disaster laboratory with 13 types of disasters in it. The history of disaster events shows that there has been an increase in disasters over time. Increasing vulnerability factors and limited capacity also lead to increased disaster risk in the future. This is a challenge in disaster management. Disaster management is local in nature. The purpose of community service activities is that it is hoped that the mindset of the community towards health in Wanamekar village will change, think positively about their health and be more enthusiastic about life and with the PTM examination it can help find out what prevention must be done, and free medical treatment to help people who are sick. The technique for implementing this activity is to do motivation, check uric acid, blood sugar, cholesterol and blood pressure for the community. As for the conclusion: a small proportion of Wanamekar villagers who have difficulty in getting clean water experience psychosocial problems, then many physical problems also occur in the elderly and adults. Hopefully this community service activity will provide benefits for Wanamekar residents.

Abstract

The number of Covid-19 cases in West Java Province has shown a significant number in the past month. This is because West Java has become the center of very high community activity and mobility. Many people still don't understand how to prevent the spread of COVID-19, including the importance of using masks when leaving the house, the importance of personal hygiene, washing hands with soap, and physical distancing. The purpose of the Covid-19 counseling and training is to increase knowledge about preventing the transmission of Covid-19. Service activities are carried out in the form of education with leaflets and posters submitted by passing motorists and the surrounding community. Meanwhile, posters are installed in strategic places such as at the sub-district office, and in the RW/RT. The results obtained were an increase in knowledge after counseling by 26 people or an increase of 13%, citizens' knowledge about individuals susceptible to Covid-19 an increase of 17 people or 8.5%, an increase in knowledge about the signs of Covid19 symptoms by 43 people or an increase of 21, 5%, residents' knowledge about health procedures increased by 8 people or 4%, increased knowledge of residents about the types of Covid-19 masks by 37 people or 18.5%. The conclusions obtained from this activity are very useful and educate residents in preventing the spread of Covid-1

Abstract

The increasing number of population and the life expectancy of the elderly will cause various problems, including health, psychological, and socio-economic problems. Problems in the elderly are mostly health problems due to the aging process, plus other problems such as financial problems, loneliness, feeling useless, and unproductive. The purpose of this counseling is to describe the characteristics of the respondents, the history of accompanying diseases and the types of rheumatic diseases in the elderly in Mekarmukti Singajaya. Method The approach to problem solving is to build partnerships with elderly groups in posyandu and recitation programs in the work area of the Singajaya Public Health Center. To foster this partnership, counseling was conducted on the management of rheumatoid arthritis pain in the elderly at home. The team consists of lecturers and is assisted by STIKes KHG Nursing S1 students. The results obtained from this counseling, the elderly can apply pain management at home by compressing. The elderly were very enthusiastic about participating in the counseling. This is evidenced by the fact that there are 10 elderly people who ask about rheumatoid arthritis and the elderly can apply warm compresses. So it can be concluded that it is very important to carry out counseling about the management of rheumatoid arthritis pain in the elderly. So that the elderly know how to manage pain in order to improve the health status of the elderly.

Abstract

Healthy conditions, both physically, mentally, spiritually and socially which enable everyone to live productively socially and economically. The implementation of this activity has a direction to improve the clean and healthy life behavior of Citangtu Village residents. The method used in this community service activity cursed the lecture, counseling and practice techniques given to 40 residents of Citangtu Village, Wanaraja District, Garut Regency. This activity resulted in an increase in residents' knowledge of clean and healthy living habits, 22 Residents had very good knowledge and 18 people had good knowledge. The overview obtained, the enthusiasm of the residents was very high when the counseling was carried out it was hoped that the counseling and practice examples that were socialized could be applied in everyday life and carried out in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Family medicinal plants are selected medicinal plants that can be planted in the yard or home environment. The selected medicinal plants are usually plants that can be used for first aid or mild medicines such as fever and cough. The presence of medicinal plants in the home environment is very important, especially for families who do not have easy access to medical services such as clinics, health centers or hospitals. Medicinal plants can be planted in pots or on the land around the house. By understanding the benefits and properties and types of plants. The purpose of this community service activity is expected to increase the knowledge of the community in Pasawahan Village about family medicinal plants and can utilize family medicinal plants around the community environment properly. Methods: The technique for implementing this activity is to conduct training, counseling and practice of planting Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA). Results: After the activity of planting family medicinal plants, the Pasawahan village community, in particular, knows the types of family medicinal plants and how to plant and After the activity of planting family medicine, a family medicinal plant demonstration site was formed. Conclusion: Community knowledge about family medicinal plants is very useful as a promotive and preventive effort so that it is necessary to increase activities that increase community knowledge such as counseling, seminars and implementation of TOGA planting activities.
