Abstract

The Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) is a program implemented in schools with the aim of forming student character through project-based learning. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of P5 in forming environmentally conscious characters in elementary schools. This study uses a qualitative method, with a narrative research design involving principal, one teacher, four students and four parents in one of the schools located in Cibitung District, Bekasi Regency, West Java Province, which was selected using the opportunistic sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Inductive and thematic data analysis was carried out to identify, ignite, and create themes expressed by assistance participants with NVivo 12. This study resulted in the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) in elementary schools successfully forming students' characters who care about the environment, are responsible, and creative in managing waste, supported by a waste exchange system for money. However, recommendations for further research are the need for strategies to overcome challenges such as difficulty sorting waste and student differences.

Abstract

Volleyball requires mastery of basic techniques such as serving, passing, setting, smashing, and blocking. However, many players on the field have difficulty mastering these skills due to monotonous training methods. This study used a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design. The sample consisted of 40 students from the Dogiyai dormitory in Jayapura City who were selected using purposive sampling. The resistance band training program was implemented for six weeks with a frequency of three times per week, including serving, passing, setting, and smashing exercises. Data were obtained through a basic volleyball skills test, then analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and paired sample t-tests with the help of SPSS 22.0. The results showed an increase in the average score from 15.60 in the pretest to 17.75 in the posttest with a difference of 2.15 points. Normality and homogeneity tests showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of the paired sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, which means there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest. The use of resistance bands significantly improved basic volleyball technical skills among students at the Dogiyai dormitory in Jayapura City. These findings provide practical insights for coaches and educational institutions in designing more varied, effective, and efficient training methods.

Abstract

Fundamental movement skills are very important and have an impact on children’s development. This research aims to explore and analyze articles related to fundamental movement skills in elementary schools over the last decade through a bibliometric study in order to explore a research roadmap regarding fundamental movement skills in elementary schools. This bibliometric study takes four stages, namely: (1) searching for articles; (2) classifying articles; (3) checking and completing article metadata; and (4) carrying out bibliometric analysis. This study explores seven findings related to (1) publication trends in fundamental movement skills in elementary schools in 2014-2023; (2) citation trends for fundamental movement skills in elementary schools in 2014-2023; (3) author collaboration that has the strongest link to publications on fundamental movement skills in elementary schools in 2014-2023; (4) Development of author keywords in publications onfundamental movement skills in elementary schools in 2014-2023; (5) Development of abstracts on publications on fundamental movement skills in elementary schools in 2014-2023; (6) institutional collaboration on the publication of fundamental movement skills in elementary schools in 2014-2023; and (7) Distribution of countries that contributed to the publication of fundamental movement skills in elementary schools in 2014-2023. Based on these seven findings, it can be concluded that there is a lack of attention from academics and researchers to fundamental movement skills in elementary schools. This can be seen from the very minimal number of publications in the last decade
