Abstract

Kesiapan sekolah pada usia dini merupakan tahap kritis dalam perkembangan anak yang mempengaruhi kemampuan belajar dan adaptasi sosialnya di masa depan. Peran orang tua dalam membantu membangun kesiapan sekolah pada anak usia dini menjadi hal yang sangat penting dan relevan untuk diinvestigasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran orang tua dalam membantu mempersiapkan anak-anak mereka untuk memulai pendidikan formal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode gabungan antara pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data kualitatif diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan beberapa orang tua anak usia dini dari berbagai latar belakang sosial dan budaya. Sementara itu, data kuantitatif dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebar kepada orang tua di beberapa sekolah anak usia dini di wilayah tertentu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran orang tua dalam membangun kesiapan sekolah anak usia dini mencakup beberapa aspek penting. Pertama, melalui interaksi sehari-hari, orang tua berperan dalam merangsang perkembangan bahasa dan kognitif anak, sehingga mereka memiliki kemampuan komunikasi yang baik dan keterampilan kognitif dasar sebelum memasuki sekolah. Kedua, dukungan emosional yang diberikan oleh orang tua membantu anak mengembangkan kepercayaan diri dan rasa percaya pada diri sendiri untuk beradaptasi dengan lingkungan sekolah yang baru. Ketiga, orang tua juga berperan sebagai mediator sosial, mengajarkan anak tentang norma-norma dan nilai-nilai sosial yang diperlukan untuk hidup dalam masyarakat. Namun, penelitian ini juga menemukan beberapa tantangan yang dihadapi oleh orang tua dalam memainkan peran mereka secara efektif. Beberapa orang tua mungkin menghadapi kesulitan dalam menyediakan lingkungan stimulatif untuk perkembangan anak karena keterbatasan sumber daya atau pengetahuan. Selain itu, tuntutan pekerjaan dan gaya hidup modern seringkali dapat mengurangi waktu yang dapat dihabiskan orang tua dengan anak-anak mereka, membatasi kesempatan untuk interaksi yang bermakna. Dalam kesimpulannya, peran orang tua dalam membangun kesiapan sekolah pada anak usia dini memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap perkembangan anak. Oleh karena itu, upaya dari pihak sekolah dan masyarakat untuk mendukung orang tua dalam memenuhi peran ini menjadi sangat penting. Dengan kerjasama yang baik antara orang tua, sekolah, dan masyarakat, anak-anak usia dini dapat mengembangkan potensi mereka secara optimal dan siap menghadapi tantangan pendidikan di masa depan.

Abstract

Fenomena globalisasi telah mempercepat masuknya kata serapan bahasa Inggris ke dalam bahasa Indonesia, khususnya di kalangan mahasiswa yang intensif berinteraksi dengan teknologi dan media global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis, frekuensi, dan konteks penggunaan kata serapan bahasa Inggris dalam percakapan mahasiswa, sekaligus menganalisis faktor-faktor sosiolinguistik yang memengaruhinya serta implikasinya terhadap identitas linguistik dan penguasaan bahasa. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan analisis transkrip percakapan. Data dianalisis dengan model Miles dan Huberman yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan kata serapan bahasa Inggris tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana komunikasi, tetapi juga sebagai penanda identitas sosial, akses akademik, dan adaptasi terhadap lingkungan multikultural. Faktor-faktor utama yang mendorong fenomena ini meliputi pengaruh media digital, kebutuhan akademis, serta persepsi prestise bahasa Inggris. Implikasi penelitian menegaskan perlunya strategi pedagogis dan kurikulum bahasa yang adaptif, agar mahasiswa mampu menguasai bahasa Indonesia dan Inggris secara seimbang, sekaligus menjaga vitalitas bahasa nasional di tengah arus globalisasi.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the world of education requires teachers to continue to develop their professional competencies in order to meet the needs of 21st century learning. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of teacher professional development policies in the digital era, with a focus on the implementation of technology-based training and its impact on improving teacher competencies. The method used is a literature review by analyzing various sources of literature related to teacher professional development strategies in the digital era. The results of the study indicate that effective strategies include technology training, collaboration with colleagues, and participation in professional discussions. Thus, teachers can improve their competencies and prepare students to face increasingly complex digital challenges. In addition, support from schools, government, and related institutions is very important in implementing this strategy. This study is expected to provide guidance for education policy makers and related parties to improve teacher professionalism in the digital era in order to achieve better educational goals.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the influence of instructional leadership, job performance, and compensation on the work motivation of public elementary school teachers in Temanggung District. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research sample consisted of 148 teachers selected using proportional random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression after going through the classical assumption test. The results showed that instructional leadership has a positive and significant influence on teacher work motivation with a t value of 5.353 and an effective contribution of 16.4%. Job performance also has a positive effect on teacher work motivation with a t value of 8.076 and an effective contribution of 30.9%. Compensation is the most dominant factor in increasing teacher work motivation with a t-value of 14.711 and an effective contribution of 59.7%. Simultaneously, the three variables contributed 66.7% to teachers' work motivation, while 33.3% was influenced by other factors. This study confirms the importance of effective instructional leadership, high job performance, and fair compensation in improving teachers' work motivation. Therefore, recommendations are given to education policy makers to pay attention to these three factors to improve teacher performance.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze effective strategies for improving the competency of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers through a continuous professional development program. PAI teacher competency is crucial in shaping the character and religious values ​​of students. However, there are still challenges in implementing appropriate programs to improve these competencies, especially in an era of rapid change and the needs of 21st- century education. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method in several secondary schools that have implemented professional development programs. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, which were then analyzed thematically. The results showed that effective competency development strategies encompass several key aspects, namely: technology-based training, collaboration between teachers, coaching through academic supervision, and providing constructive feedback. In addition, the involvement of school principals and education supervisors plays a significant role in creating an environment that supports continuous learning for PAI teachers. A planned and structured continuous professional development program can improve PAI teachers' understanding of innovative learning methods and their ability to face challenges in the classroom. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of implementing systematic and sustainable strategies to improve PAI teacher competency in order to achieve better educational goals.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of moral decline recently affecting several generations of teenagers. Symptoms of moral decline include the spread of cases of drug abuse, promiscuity, crime, violence, and other less than commendable behavior. Even the behavior of acts of violence lately is so viral and has become a concern, which is carried out by teenagers. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of Islamic religious education teachers in building student character. This study used descriptive qualitative research, while data collection techniques were carried out through a literature review. The results of this study indicate that the supporting and inhibiting factors of Islamic religious education teachers in fostering student character, namely in terms of supporting factors are the family environment and conducive school environment and the existence of communication between teachers and parents of students while the inhibiting factors usually occur due to the lack of awareness of students about the importance of character values ​​and the environmental conditions in which students live and also their peers in society.
