Abstract

 Background: Malnutrition is a condition of a person whose nutritional deficiency is below average. In Indonesia, the prevalence of toddlers experiencing nutritional problems is 17.7%. The prevalence of nutritional problems consists of malnutrition of 3.9% and malnutrition of 13.8%. Toddlers aged 12-59 months are an age group that is vulnerable to health and nutritional disorders.   Objective: The objective of this service is to increase mothers' knowledge of the Medisco concept and the practice of making Medisco.   Results: The implementation of health education was achieved 100% with the community understanding the use of the medisco concept and the medisco manufacturing method. After the demonstration of making Medisco was carried out, mothers were willing to implement the utilization of the achievements of the medisco concept process and the medisco manufacturing method.

Abstract

Background: Stunting is a serious public health problem worldwide, particularly in developing countries. The prevalence of stunting is 21.6%, meaning that 1 in 5 children under five in Indonesia experience chronic growth problems. Objective: The purpose of this community service is to educate the Regent about the Regent's policy on providing family nutrition interventions. Method: The method used in this community service is a health education method regarding the Regent's policy on providing family nutrition interventions to the community in Krangganharjo Village, Toroh District. Results: Based on the post-test results, 100% of the community was able to identify good policies and interventions for providing family nutrition. The expected impact is the community's willingness to implement nutritious food in accordance with the Grobogan Regent's Regulation Number 57 of 2022 regarding family nutrition interventions
