Abstract

Abstract The aim of this research is to determine awareness of using social media so that conflicts do not arise when using it. The method used in this research is a library research method sourced from books, articles and journals. By discussing this article, it is hoped that the millennial generation will be more conscious in using social media, such as selecting and selecting comments so as not to cause division or conflict. However, hate speech can also occur at school and in the community. Therefore, it is important for us to respect each other in social life. Keywords: Hate speech, social. Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesadaran bermedia sosial agar tidak timbul konflik dalam menggunakannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan metode kajian pustaka (Library Research) yang bersumber dari buku serta artikel dan jurnal. Dengan pembahasan artikel ini diharapkan kepada para generasi milenial agar dapat lebih sadar dalam menggunakan media sosial, seperti memilah dan memilih dalam berkomentar agar tidak menimbulkan perpecahan atau konflik. Namun, ujaran kebencian juga bisa terjadi di sekolah maupun di lingkungan masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi kita untuk saling menghormati satu sama lain dalam kehidupan bersosial. Abstract

Abstract This research aims to explore the role of family in children's character building through informal education. Using the Library Research method, this study collected and analysed data from reliable sources in the library including books, journals, and electronic documents. The main focus is on how parents help shape good attitudes and values in children, with a case study on Maudy Ayunda's family who is known to educate children with the principles of independence, hard work, and empathy. The results show that parents play a critical role as the main model in character education, which includes value formation, religious education, and behavioural supervision. Character education in Indonesian schools is still at the introductory stage and has not yet reached the stage of value internalisation, so informal education at home is very significant. This research confirms that effective character education requires co-operation between formal and informal education, with parents as the primary educators. Character building is not only about instilling moral values, but also preparing children to face challenges with responsibility and integrity. Keywords: Character Education, Family, Quality Character Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran keluarga dalam pembentukan karakter anak-anak melalui pendidikan informal. Menggunakan metode Library Research, penelitian ini mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data dari sumber-sumber terpercaya di perpustakaan termasuk buku, jurnal, dan dokumen elektronik. Fokus utama adalah pada cara orang tua membantu membentuk sikap dan nilai yang baik pada anak, dengan studi kasus pada keluarga Maudy Ayunda yang dikenal mendidik anak dengan prinsip kemandirian, kerja keras, dan empati. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua memainkan peran kritikal sebagai model utama dalam pendidikan karakter, yang mencakup pembinaan nilai, pendidikan agama, dan pengawasan perilaku. Pendidikan karakter di sekolah Indonesia masih pada tahap pengenalan dan belum mencapai tahap internalisasi nilai, sehingga pendidikan informal di rumah menjadi sangat signifikan. Penelitian ini mengkonfirmasi bahwa pendidikan karakter yang efektif memerlukan kerja sama antara pendidikan formal dan informal, dengan orang tua sebagai pendidik utama. Pembentukan karakter bukan hanya menanamkan nilai moral, tetapi juga mempersiapkan anak untuk menghadapi tantangan dengan tanggung jawab dan integritas. Abstract

Married students often face dual roles that hinder the effectiveness of completing their final assignments, making Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) an essential skill for maintaining academic performance. This study aims to analyze how SRL is implemented by final-semester married students at UIN Palangka Raya in completing their thesis work. A qualitative case study design was employed, involving ten participants selected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that 8 out of 10 participants experienced significant time constraints due to household and work responsibilities, while 6 participants reported stress caused by repeated thesis revisions. Field data show diverse SRL strategies: Hanida could only work on her thesis between Zuhr and Asr after leaving her child with family; Nania woke up at 04:00 to manage household duties before work; Aulia completed thesis tasks during quiet hours at his shop; and Jannah temporarily stopped writing due to baby blues before resuming her thesis with parental support. Additional barriers included financial difficulties such as losing a laptop, learning loafing, and academic burnout that led students to seek new study environments such as cafés. The study concludes that SRL functions as an adaptive mechanism enabling married students to balance academic demands and family responsibilities, and their success is strongly influenced by structured planning, disciplined time management, stable motivation, and consistent social support from spouses, parents, and peers.
