Abstract

Pengawas madrasah memiliki peran yang sangat signifikan dan strategis dalam proses dan hasil Pendidikan yang bermutu di madrasah, dalam konteks ini peran pengawas sekolah meliputi pemantauan, evaluasi, pelaporan, dan tindak lanjut pengawas yang harus dilakukan secara teratur dan berkesinambungan. Peran tersebut berkaitan dengan tugas pokok pengawas dalam melakukan supervisi manajerial dan supervisi akademik, pembinaan, pemantauan dan penilaian. Dalam kenyataan di lapangan, masih terdapat guru yang belum memenuhi administrasi perangkat pembelajaran, guru tidak melaksanakan pembelajaran secara profesional dan sesuai kompetensi yang sesuai standar Pendidikan nasional. Penelitian tentang supervisi pengawas untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru di madrasah masih sangat jarang. Dalam studi ini, saya bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi supervisi akademik pengawas madrasah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru. Hal ini penting karena bagian awal pemantauan merupakan bagian integral dari peningkatan kualitas sekolah. Saya menggunakan filosofi fenomenologi untuk memahami fenomena ini. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dilakukan dengan menggunakan wawancara individu semi terstruktur terhadap satu orang Pengawas yang aktif melakukan supervisi di MAN. saya menggunakan analisis kualitatif untuk memahami pengalaman subjektif, yang kemudian membentuk wawasan tentang supervisi yang berdampak positif pada kinerja guru di MAN. Dari penelitian tersebut, kami menemukan bahwa Ada 3 tema utama kepengawasan yang memberikan dampak positif selama proses berlangsung membangun kinerja, yaitu (1) peran dalam perencanaan (3) Strategi: cara menanamkan nilai melalui menumbuhkan budaya dalam keluarga. Singkatnya, penelitian kami menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan remaja Indonesia identitas dalam budaya Jawa dipengaruhi oleh nilai-nilai yang ditanamkan oleh orang tua mereka, yang mereka dapatkan sejak itu masa kanak-kanak, dan perkembangan mereka terus dikendalikan secara konsisten oleh orang tua mereka.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of historiography in initiating the birth of the Arbische School (Pesantren Rasyidiyah Khalidiyah Awal) by examining the process and meaning behind history-making related to the pioneer leadership and influence of Tuan Guru H. Abdurrasyid in the religious community. Historical/historiographic research (descriptive qualitative) uses primary data sources, namely information from direct observation of the research location by observation and oral history interviews. The secondary source is data from documentation or literature studies to complete primary data. Data collection is carried out through field research. The results showed that the character of Mr. Guru H. Abdurrasyid as the first alumnus of al-Azhar Cairo Egypt at the Khalidiyah Rashidiya Islamic Boarding School is the capital of the international network of Rakha Pesantren towards the development of institutions and alumni who will continue their studies to the Middle East, especially Al-Azhar University in the future. In the early days of the establishment of the Arabische School, it was an educational institution with the function of broadcasting and purifying religion. Various religious approaches were carried out with politeness, and Tuan Guru H. Abdurrasyid tried to change these deviant behaviors. On the other hand, there is a strong desire of some Muslims themselves to study Islam so that their lives are by the Qur'an and al-Sunnah and avoid heresy and cheese.

Abstract

This article investigates the continuous social history of Pengajian Langgar in South Kalimantan, initiated by Shaikh Muhammad Arsyad al-Banjary and his descendants until the present day. This research is important because Pengajian in South Kalimantan, until today, remains maintaining its tradition. This study used literature and interviews as methods. The paper finds that the spread of Islamic teachings from Mecca officially began in the mid-18th century. His pioneering was Shaikh Muhammad Arsyad Al-Banjary (1122-1227 H./1710 – 1812 M.). These are the scholars who developed the pengajian system in South Kalimantan. Pengajian is a system of teaching that disseminates the teachings of Islam in this area at the beginning of the residence of the scholars concerned. However, many are taking place in Langgar. Until 1920, in almost every langgar, Tuan Guru provided themselves to conduct Pengajian in this area.

Abstract

The educational reform of Rasyidiyah Khalidiyah Islamic Boarding School (RKIBS) has played a transformative role in shaping the social and economic dynamics of the Amuntai community in South Kalimantan. This study investigates the reform’s impacts on the traditionally rooted Amuntai society using a socio-historical method that integrates historical and sociological perspectives. The findings demonstrate that RKIBS fulfills four critical functions: transmitting Islamic knowledge, preserving Islamic traditions, developing intellectual scholars, and driving socioeconomic progress. These roles underscore the school’s influence not only as an educational institution but also as a catalyst for broader community development. By blending traditional values with modern advancements, RKIBS has significantly contributed to the intellectual growth and economic empowerment of the Amuntai society. The study concludes by emphasizing the broader implications of educational reform in balancing cultural preservation and progressive change, positioning RKIBS as a model for fostering intellectual and socioeconomic advancement in similar communities. This case study provides valuable insights into the potential of Islamic boarding schools to serve as agents of sustainable development while maintaining their cultural and religious heritage.

Abstract

The learning model in Islamic Religious Education for class XI 7 at SMAN 1 Palangka Raya is less effective due to the boring lecture method, resulting in low student participation and learning outcomes. This research aims to determine the motivation for learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and analyze the application of the ARCS model (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction) in PAI learning at SMAN 1 Palangka Raya through the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, which is conducted in two cycles that include the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were 31 students from class XI 7 at SMA Negeri 1 Palangka Raya, consisting of 11 male students and 20 female students. The research results show that the ARCS model effectively increases students' motivation and academic achievement. Teacher activity increased from 80% in cycle I to 93% in cycle II, while student activity rose from 76% to 93%. Learning motivation also increased on all indicators, such as enjoyment, interest, activity, and enthusiasm for learning. In conclusion, the ARCS model is effective in enhancing student motivation and engagement in PAI learning. Meanwhile, the distribution of the questionnaire on the aspects of enjoyment and interest increased from an average of 89% to 90%, interest and attention increased from an average of 80% to 86%, and activity and motivation to achieve increased from an average of 78% to 85%. The enthusiasm for learning increased from an average of 67% to 88%, and the desire to understand rose from 57% to 83%.

Abstract

This study reveals the phenomenon of juvenile delinquency among students of SMK Karsa Mulya by understanding the influence of parental attachment and independence on juvenile delinquency in SMK Karsa Mulya Palangkaraya students. This study focuses on the impact of parental attachment (father, mother) and independence on juvenile delinquency. The research design used is a multiple linear correlational research design with a sample of 114 from a population of 270 class X students. Sampling used probability sampling with a random sampling technique. Meanwhile, the calculation of data results using the SPSS 2018 application from 4 questionnaire instruments Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment (IPPA), Autonomy Scale, and Self Report Delinquency Scale, with the results that there is no relationship between parental attachment and independence on juvenile delinquency, negatively correlated (-) namely the significance value of IPPA MOTHER p = 0.494> 0.05, not significant, IPPAFATHER: p = 0.889> 0.05 is not significant, while the autonomy value p = 0.172> 0.05 is not significant. However, there is a relationship if the three variables are combined, with a value of p = 0.006 <0.05, meaning that the higher the attachment of mother/father and independence, the lower the level of juvenile delinquency.

Abstract

Nurul Islam Grand Mosque, recognized as the first and oldest grand mosque in Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan, is distinguished primarily by its extensive Qur’anic calligraphy that adorns nearly the entire interior, including the walls and ceiling. This study investigates the functional reception of the calligraphy, focusing on the selection of specific Qur’anic verses and the rationale behind their inclusion. Employing a qualitative methodology with a descriptive-analytical approach, the research is grounded in Qur’anic reception theory, particularly the concept of functional reception. Data were collected through fieldwork involving observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the verses featured in the mosque are those frequently recited and memorized by Muslims in daily practice, such as Surah Yāsīn, Al-Wāqi‘ah, and Al-Mulk. The functional reception is manifested in the curatorial decision to present these verses as calligraphy, thereby enabling visitors to engage with the surahs or verses without the need to consult a mushaf, in addition to serving an ornamental purpose. Furthermore, the calligraphy contributes to the mosque’s unique aesthetic identity, distinguishing it from other mosques. However, issues related to the legibility of certain calligraphic elements have elicited criticism, suggesting that the mosque’s administration should address these concerns appropriately.Abstrak: Masjid Raya Nurul Islam merupakan masjid raya pertama sekaligus tertua di Palangka Raya, Kalimantan Tengah. Keunikan utamanya terletak pada hampir seluruh bagian interior yang dihiasi kaligrafi Al-Qur’an, mulai dari dinding hingga plafon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah bagaimana resepsi fungsional terhadap kaligrafi tersebut, ayat-ayat apa yang dipilih, serta alasan pemilihan ayat. Metode yang digunakan ialah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis, berlandaskan teori resepsi Al-Qur’an, khususnya resepsi fungsional. Riset ini bersifat lapangan dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ayat yang ditampilkan pada Masjid Raya Nurul Islam adalah ayat-ayat yang umum dibaca dan dihapal oleh umat Islam sehari-hari seperti QS. Yasin, QS. al-Waqi’ah, QS. al-Mulk dan lain-lain. Adapun bentuk resepsi fungsional kaligrafi Al-Qur’an terlihat pada pemilihan ayat yang dituliskan menjadi kaligrafi di Masjid Raya Nurul Islam, di mana ayat-ayat yang dituliskan selain dijadikan hiasan juga memudahkan pengunjung yang ingin membaca surah-surah atau ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an tanpa harus mencari di dalam Al-Qur’an. Selain itu, dengan kaligrafi tersebut Masjid Raya Nurul Islam memilki daya tarik tersendiri yang membedakannya dengan masjid lain. Di sisi lain, keberadaan tulisan yang kurang terbaca memunculkan kritik yang patut dicermati oleh pengurus masjid.

Abstract

This study aims to describe teachers' strategies in implementing active learning for students in grade VIII, particularly in the subject of akidah akhlak at MTs Darul Amin Palangka Raya. The background of this study regarding the urgency of learning activities in the subject of akidah akhlak stems from students' lack of interest in learning. The learning method used are too monotonous, and students have difficulty understanding and remembering the material presented. This research employs a qualitative approach that emphasizes understanding phenomena in a natural and contextual manner. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained directly from the sources being studied, including Akidah Akhlak teachers, the school principal, the vice principal in charge of the curriculum, and eighth-grade students. Secondary data consists of additional information such as classroom teaching documentation, student attendance records, textbooks, and other supporting materials. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the research results, akidah akhlak teachers use cooperative learning strategies with the Think Pair Share type, which involves forming study groups, solving problems through discussion, and then explaining and sharing the information obtained with the entire class. Students' interest in learning akidah akhlak is relatively good and more active, as evidenced by student attendance in each lesson, interview results, and field observation results.
