Abstract

Abstract

The aims of this study to determine students’ perceptions of the use of Augmented Reality (AR) as an interactive learning medium. The research was conducted among 87 students of the 2023 cohort in the Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) program. This research employed a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The data were collected using a questionnaire distributed via Google Form, and analyzed using percentage-based descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that students’ perceptions of the use of Augmented Reality as an interactive learning medium are categorized as good, with an average score of 3.12 on a 4-point scale, equivalent to 78%. These findings suggest that the use of AR can enhance students’ engagement, interest, and understanding of learning materials through a more interactive and contextual learning experience. Therefore, Augmented Reality can serve as an effective and innovative learning medium in higher education, particularly in improving the quality of technology-based learning within the Primary School Teacher Education program.

Abstract

This community service is driven by the low level of creative thinking skills among fourth-grade students at SDN 1 Sidodadi. The study aims to analyze the influence of GAULL (Wordwall-based educational games) on the creative thinking skills of elementary school students. The community service employed a Quasi-Experimental Design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population consisted of 58 students, all of whom were included as the sample through a total sampling technique, divided into classes IVA and IVB. Data were collected using test instruments and subsequently analyzed using simple linear regression. The results indicate that the use of GAULL media has a significant effect on students' creative thinking skills. This is evidenced by the statistical analysis, which yielded an Fobserved value of 13.25, exceeding the Ftable value of 4.23 (13.25 > 4.23). Consequently, GAULL media is an effective tool for stimulating creative thinking abilities in elementary school students
