Abstract

This study explores the integration of Qur'anic values into curriculum management at Madrasah Aliyah YPI Cikoneng, Bandung Regency, addressing the challenges of balancing modern educational demands with maintaining a Qur'anic identity. The study aims to examine how Qur'anic values are incorporated into curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research involved interviews, observations, and document analysis with key informants, including the principal, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers, and students. The findings reveal that Qur'anic values are embedded in the school's vision and mission, integrated into teaching methods, and evaluated through character assessments. The study highlights the importance of aligning Leadership, teacher competence, and school culture in successfully implementing Qur'anic-based education. While the school's approach has been practical, challenges such as limited Qur'anic literacy and infrastructure remain. This research contributes to Islamic education by offering a practical model for integrating Qur'anic values into curriculum management and providing insights for other madrasahs to adopt similar approaches to maintaining spiritual and academic balance.

Abstract

Integration of Islamic Values in Digital Governance at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al MufasirThe development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the education management system, including in the Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) environment. Digitalization is now a key element in the governance of educational institutions, demanding efficiency, transparency, and data-driven accountability. However, as Islamic educational institutions, madrasas have a responsibility to ensure that digital transformation remains grounded in Islamic moral and spiritual values. This study aims to explore the application of Islamic digital ethics principles in digital governance at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Mufasir, Jln. Gandasoja No. 41, Sukamantri Village, Paseh District, Bandung Regency. The focus of the study includes the internalization of the values of amanah (responsibility), shiddiq (honesty), ‘adl (justice), and ihsan (professionalism) in various aspects of digital management such as the Madrasah Information System, online learning, and application-based administration. The results of the study indicate that the integration of these Islamic values not only improves the efficiency and quality of digital governance but also strengthens institutional ethics and the religious character of all madrasah members. Thus, digitalization at MTs Al Mufasir is not merely a technological instrument, but also a means of preaching and fostering noble character. This research is expected to serve as a reference in developing an Islamic digital governance model based on Islamic values (Islamic Digital Governance Model) at other Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

Comparative Analysis of Qualitative and Quantitative Assessment in Sundanese Language Learning at Saparako State Elementary School Sundanese language learning in elementary schools plays a crucial role in preserving local cultural identity and shaping students’ character. However, assessment practices still reveal an imbalance between qualitative and quantitative approaches used by teachers. This study aims to compare both assessment types to identify their alignment, differences, and implications for accuracy and fairness within the context of the Merdeka Curriculum. Employing a descriptive-comparative design, the study analyzes qualitative assessments (narrative descriptions) and quantitative assessments (numerical scores) in Sundanese language in SDN Saparako. Findings indicate a strong positive correlation between the two approaches, although each reflects different dimensions of students’ abilities. Qualitative assessment captures learning processes, attitudes, and language performance, while quantitative assessment focuses on measurable learning outcomes. These results highlight the need to integrate both approaches to obtain a more comprehensive evaluation of students’ competencies. The study recommends developing an integrated mixed assessment model that aligns with local cultural values and supports holistic assessment principles promoted in the Merdeka Curriculum.
