Abstract

Significant mental health issues in postpartum mothers have an impact on both mothers and child development. Limited access to services and social stigma hinder treatment. Mental health-based mobile applications have emerged as a potential alternative intervention. The objective of the research was to analyze the effectiveness of mobile applications in reducing postpartum depression symptoms and the factors contributing to their success. A systematic review following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines was conducted, searching PubMed, Wiley, ProQuest, and Google Scholar for articles published between 2020 and 2025. Ten quantitative and qualitative articles were analyzed. Apps using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and telecounseling approaches were effective in reducing postpartum depression symptoms. Success was influenced by user-friendly design, social support, cultural sensitivity, and integration with healthcare services. Barriers included low digital literacy, stigma, and privacy concerns. Mobile apps have the potential to be an effective and affordable solution. In Indonesia, development should prioritize scientific evidence, ease of use, and integration with primary healthcare services.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Burnout pada bidan adalah kondisi kelelahan fisik, mental, dan emosional akibat stres dan beban kerja tinggi, yang dapat menurunkan produktivitas serta kualitas pelayanan. Profesi ini rentan terhadap burnout, dengan prevalensi tinggi di berbagai negara, dan dapat menghilangkan motivasi serta menimbulkan pikiran negatif. Tujuan penelitian: Review ini bertujuan merangkum dan menganalisis secara kritis literatur yang relevan mengenai implementasi model of care praktik kebidanan dalam upaya mengurangi burnout di lingkungan kerja. Metode: Narrative Review dilakukan pada database PubMed, Research Rabbit, dan Wiley Library Online untuk periode 2020-2025. Kriteria inklusi mencakup studi kualitatif/kuantitatif, artikel 5 tahun terakhir, berbahasa Indonesia/Inggris, dan teks lengkap. Hasil: Faktor pemicu burnout meliputi lingkungan praktik tidak mendukung, beban kerja tinggi, konflik kebijakan, kurangnya kerja sama tim, karakteristik individu, serta masalah kesehatan mental. Model praktik kebidanan yang efektif mengurangi burnout adalah berbasis pemberdayaan, dukungan organisasi, koping/spiritualitas, dan caseload midwifery, karena meningkatkan otonomi, dukungan, ketahanan mental, dan kesejahteraan emosional. Kesimpulan: Burnout pada bidan adalah masalah kompleks yang berdampak serius. Penanganannya memerlukan pendekatan menyeluruh, mencakup reformasi sistem kerja (misalnya caseload midwifery), peningkatan dukungan organisasi, pelatihan resiliensi, dan pemantauan kesehatan mental berkala, guna menjamin pelayanan berkualitas dan kesejahteraan bidan.
