Abstract

Inflation, unemployment, and deflation are three fundamental macroeconomic phenomena that are closely interconnected in influencing a nation’s economic stability. These variables illustrate the equilibrium between production capacity, consumption behavior, and government intervention in achieving sustainable economic growth. The main purpose of this study is to explore the interrelationship between inflation, unemployment, and deflation, and to assess their implications for Indonesia’s economic stability. This research applies a qualitative descriptive method, employing literature reviews, document analysis, and secondary data evaluation derived from credible institutions such as the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), Bank Indonesia (BI), and the Ministry of Finance. The results suggest that a moderate level of inflation can positively stimulate economic expansion through increased consumption and investment activities. In contrast, excessive inflation tends to erode consumer purchasing power and potentially elevate unemployment rates. Meanwhile, prolonged deflationary conditions may lead to a decline in product prices, reduced business profitability, and slower economic momentum. The interaction among these three factors is complex and dynamic, necessitating a coordinated balance between fiscal and monetary policies to safeguard overall economic stability. This study concludes that effective inflation control, job creation, and deflation prevention are critical elements in strengthening Indonesia’s long-term economic resilience.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the management model of community-based cooperatives in empowering home-based MSMEs. Home-based MSMEs play a crucial role in improving the community's economy, but they still face various obstacles such as limited capital, suboptimal marketing, low managerial skills, and minimal use of digital technology. Community-based cooperatives offer an alternative solution through a participatory approach that emphasizes collaboration, member involvement, and strengthening the local economy. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving cooperative administrators and home-based MSMEs. The results indicate that the community-based cooperative management model can increase members' business capacity by providing access to capital, entrepreneurship training, business mentoring, and collaborative product marketing. Furthermore, strong social ties among members are a crucial factor in building trust and maintaining the cooperative's sustainability. This study also found that digitalization and management innovation present both challenges and opportunities for cooperatives. Therefore, strengthening organizational governance, improving the quality of human resources, and utilizing digital technology need to be continuously developed to support the sustainable empowerment of home-based MSMEs.

Abstract

The development of the halal sector is currently showing significant growth, along with growing public awareness of the importance of halal products and the adoption of a lifestyle compliant with Sharia principles. In this context, Generation Z has emerged as a crucial group due to its connection to digital technology, social media, and flexible consumption patterns. This study aims to explore Generation Z's contribution to advancing the modern halal industry, identify factors influencing their interest in halal products, and analyze the impact of digitalization on the growth of the halal sector. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method, incorporating literature review, observation, and document collection from various reliable sources. The findings indicate that Generation Z functions as both consumers and business actors, proactively promoting and developing halal products through various digital platforms. Several factors influencing their interest include religious awareness, halal lifestyle trends, and easy access to information. However, challenges remain, such as low knowledge about halal products and high competition in the market. Therefore, halal education, digital innovation, and support from various parties are needed to strengthen the sustainable growth of the halal industry.
